I am so dissatisfied with my last Sears online purchase. I bought 6 pairs of work boots and simply want to exchange two brand new pairs for 2 wider pairs of boots. However, I am 37 days past my purchase date and NO ONE can help me or will do anything to rectify this simple request. I didn't even receive the boots until day 6 of the 30 day return window. We made an order on line in July 18, 2016 and SEARS told us: your delivery date is July 27, 2016 7am - 9pm. The day after we received an email from SEARS because our payment was not authorized, we change our address. So, the day after - July 20, we called SEARS and our credit card and everything was fixed. I hard ordered a refrigerator 4 weeks ago. At the time I was told it would take 3 weeks to get my appliance. That was a stretch but I decided i would wait. At the 3 weeks mark, I get an automated call telling me that the fridge would be one week late. I had not refrigerator now going on 4 weeks. I bought a kenmore grill from sears that i wanted to convert to natural gas.so my cashier took me out to the kiosk and ordered what i needed supposedly. My wife purchased a new craftsman 6 gallon compressor from Sears for my Father's Day gift. 6 gallon is too small for what i use them for which is mainly in my garage. Tried to return it brand new unopened in the box WITH the receipt. It had been 38 days since the purchase so they refused. Wouldn't even let me exchange it with cash towards a bigger compressor. The system NEVER held the temp it was set at , when we complained,the serviceman said " raise the Thermostat", it won't hold at 72.So we raised it to 74..Same problem, he said set it at 76..room temp went to 80. when we complined, they sent the same service man to look.. said" There is NOTHING wrong with the system"!There was almost NO air coming from The last register on the run. but there is Nothing wrong??We set a swamp cooler in the window... I spent 3hrs.on the phone trying to get a resolution as to why I can't get my renewal thru my e-mail since they lie that they can't mail it out. Everyone who I spoke to or transferred to, in total 10 people did nothing but apologyse for the previous person. The last person put me on hold then the call dropped. Purchased a treadmill for $871.79 total. Then they made shipping errors. When i asked for reshipment the price had changed and I was informed in order to get the treadmill shipped correctly it would now cost $1001.79. Now, mind you this was the so called best price discount they were now adjusting the price to because they made a mistake. How is this customer service? My husband and I ordered shelving units off of sears.com. About 15 minutes after we ordered them we found different ones and decided to cancel our previous order and order the other ones. So I called customer service waited about 30 minutes on the phone and then i spoke with someone who assured me my previous order was canceled. So lets jump forward about a week... I will not buy anything from Sears again as long as I live. Dealing with customer service over the years has been a nightmare. The employees from the Philippines don't have a grasp of the English language and they are hard to understand. I have slammed the phone many times over the years out of sheer frustration with these people.
