What happened to Sears? The appliances used to be on par with all the major sellers. I purchased an appliance last year and it broke not much longer after the warranty expired. Customer service at the local Sears was bottom barrel, i.e. Jerome Henri was not trained well. I have proof of sale for a 2 year old Craftsman 1/2 horsepower garage door opener and after a technician came to my house and replaced the logic board I have spent hours on the phone with craftsman, sears - you name it being transferred again and again and NO resolution. Sears customer service is the absolute worst. I purchased a heating/air conditioning system from them in July 2013. Problems with the system began immediately, so I called Sears. That's terrible!!!! I feel so terrible for you!!! Sears is such a suckie *** company. I actually use to work there btw. I don't even know why people are dumb enough shop there. I ordered a refrigerator as a gift for my daughter and future son-in-law. Less than a month after delivery they were having issues with the display panel on the outside of the freezer. Sears is the worst place ever ever in my purchase. Everything they spoke was fulse that i can not believe! I just dont know who works at sears. The place has to be gone for sure soon. Otherwise the people will get tricked 100%.

I bought a 17" craftsman drill press from sears, that is a huge top of the line $599.99 dlls to be exact to have a peace of mind asked for the extended 2 year warranty and to my surprise 70 days later a big chunk piece of metal fell from the drill sleeve. so its under warranty no problem took it to the store and found out the hard way that they dont replace items the plan is for in home repair so... Do not ever try to contact Sears customer service for installation. You cannot understand anyone who answers the phone. I spent 30 minutes just trying to explain that I bought a microwave/over combination and needed installation. She kept putting me on hold whenever I asked a simple question.
