I advise everyone to avoid kenmore appliances.We bought a stove two years ago.At the time of purchase the salesperson did offer an additional warrnty,but I felt a stove should last at least three years! By this time this additional warranty would have expired anyway.After two years the top began to discolor and the paint began to come off control panel.The poorcelain in the oven is wearing off.When I contacted Sears I was informed that they would do nothing.It is easy to see that no longer backs their products.I say again if you buy at sears buyer beware!
