Sear’s paid off my promotional, “12 month no interest”, account 6 months early because I had a credit balance on my Revolving account.
Instead of fixing the problem, reinstate my 12 month no interest, and send me a check for the credit balance on the revolving account.
They lied! I had a choice of 12 months no interest or 20% off the purchase price. I got 6 months no interest and 0% off.
Good thing my revolving account didn’t a credit balance after 1 month! Their credit department, Chase Bank, I was told “Has nothing to do with Sear’s” and “Sear’s has nothing to do with Chase”.
Now, I have nothing to do with either one of them!
After I stood my ground for 2 hours and told them I had been a store manager for the several department stores for 15 years. And, demanded an adjustment, I got a 6 months credit adjustment off the purchase price of the promo item which was $59.00.
Thanks Sear’s! Can’t wait to go spend that at Lowe’s!
