Sears - Bad customer service

We put a tool storage lay away on black Friday. We wanted a black tool storage. They employees puts the red on lay away. We complete the sale and we realize he put the red on lay away and not the black. He tells us the process to fix would take too long and just exchange it when we pay it off. So we said ok. I come in and pay it off and thinking i can even exchange they then tell us because it is not black Friday anymore it can't be an even exchange. The dept Manager Monica treated us like it was our fault. In fact every time we were in there she was *** about something. We will never shop there again We called the complaint department and we could not understand his English I see why they are going out of business

Sears - Delivery experience and Warranty Sesrvice

We purchased a stove from Sears. Kenmore! It was supposed to come in a week. It didn't come for 1 month. We also purchased a Washer from them. It broke after 8 months. If we hadn't taken the service contract the repair would have cost us more than the machine. Also boxes started coming to our house, One of them 3 feet by 3 feet. We live in a small apartment. We are not a warehouse and do not have room for the parts. Basically the machine has to be rebuilt. We are expected to house these parts until the service repair is done on the machine. (which is scheduled for 2 weeks from now) and that is if the other parts come in that are BACK ORDERED. We will never purchase another sears appliance. Their service has really deteriorated through the years. The quality of the appliances they sell is not what it used to be. We are sorry we didn't go to our locally family owned appliance store. That is what we recommend.

Sears - Why not lease it

In July we purchased the washing machine from Sears and the salesman sold us on a program for why not lease it requiring no credit but did not make it known to us that it was a leasing agreement he said our machine would be paid off in 90 days. Come to find out we've been paying on a lease and the representative from why not lease it said we would have to turn the equipment over or pay a lump sum on top of all the lease payments. This is a warning don't do it they scam you we paid over $2,000 for a machine that's ridiculous. If we would have known from the beginning we would have never done it we would have paid it off instead.

I purchased $4000 of appliances with sears in 2016. Now its nov 2017 and my dishwasher has been broke down for 2 weeks. Now my icemaker in my $1300 french door refrigerator is not working again, its already been repaired once, now doing samething again. Contacted sears and they want to charge me to come out , then charge for repairs. Appliances are only 1 1/2 years old. The icemaker has a factory defect. BOTTOM LINE, DONT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM SEARS. I PURCHASED KENMORE APPLIANCES AND THEY ARE GARBAGE. NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE. 559 706 8701

Sears - My dryer has been out since Nov 6,2017

Nov 6 I called sears to schedule to fix my samsung dryer nov 21 was the day they schedule with they outsourced the job to Square one service inc. they came over and the man it said it needed parts it would take 7 to 10 business days. I have in touch with that company that sears outsource and they do not have the parts yet.I been calling sears and getting the run around they with me to another representative and I have to start over I made 3 complaints to the BBB and I have an appointment Dec26 but I am still trying to find out if they sent the parts and no one has a clue so I am going to take the next step if sears do not come over and stand by their agreement then I will get the dryer fix from an outside appliance company and give sears the bill if they refuse to pay then I will take them to smalls claim court and make the company embarrass to put them on T.V. and tell the media how sears reneged on keeping their word and bond of about their Agreement.

After many calls again, on Dec 21 I got Jennie who said she was not receiving my massages but did see in the system that the project was updated with my issues of no working shower and wall issues. If she did not ok, but I left massage on every voicemail I could and if...

Placed an online order. Charged. Never shipped, never delivered. Customer service solution? Cancel order with a "no-reply" email. Re-placed order-- I know, my bad. Never shipped, never delivered. Charged. Tried to use Sears online chat program- shut down my entire computer and took me 5 hours to restore. Called 4 times. Can't understand these people. Sears blamed UPS, swore the order was shipped, then said items were probably not available, which is why it wasn't shipped. Thought you just said they were shipped? Promised to submit a "ticket" which could take 72 hours for an automated computer response. Customer service solution? Cancelled order.

I purchased a stove top from sears with a 5 year repair warranty, called and spoke with Jerri she started by wanting me to "PRE= Diagnose" what was wrong, which I did at least 15 times she wanted me to get into the cabinet to see what I could do to fix it, then since I explained to her that I have limited eye site and a disability, I could not do that, she then wanted me to go to my Breaker box and turn it off the electricty , again I explained about my disablitty. we were going back and forth for 20 min. + she wanted me to wait until someone could be at my home to "PRE Diagnose the issue...This is an imposition and when did PURCHASING A WARRANTY CONTRACT MEAN i HAD TO FIX IT MYSELF." Finally getting an appt for 10 days away and would not be able to cook food for that time-frame is very unexceptionable for a company as big as SEARS. I can promise you now NEVER purchase from SEARS again.

I haven't bought anything at Sears in years but my daughter needed office clothing and I thought well let's try Sears. I bought several outfits plus two sets of shoes. The cashier failed to ring up one of the shoe purchases and had to on a separate receipt. Unfortunately my daughter decided she didn't like either one of the shoe purchases after a couple of days. I went back and stood in a horrendous line of people trying to return stuff not buy and this is a week before Christmas? Once it was my turn the child who was cashiering said he could find all of the merchandise except the one pair of shoes that had had a separate receipt. I told him that the receipt should be in the bag...he said it wasn't...I'm like ok I will take a store credit. he is like no receipt can't take these back for any reason. of course I immediately as for a manager he rings for her she says can't take back. Did he find them on your my way rewards something. i'm like I don't do that. I pay in cash don't want any rewards. She is like well that is how we track your purchases so we can't take it back. I just looked at her at told her that their unbending policy was going to be the undoing of the company and by this time next year she will be out of a job so she should start looking now and that I hope Sears goes bankrupt with that kind of attitude.
