I purchased two watches from sears.com well happy deal 365 on November 23 2017 and I have not received them. It told I would receive December 12 never came. I have called the number listed and sent an email with no response. Contacted sears and they said to give them 72 hours to contact the marketplace. I asked about the company being legit and will I be able to get my money back. I was told they were legit and if I do not receive my product they will give my money back. I hope so but I will be calling back

Sears - New dishwasher that won’t get replaced

My 86 year old mother bought a dishwasher at Sears and in less than a year It stopped working. A repairman came out and said he needed to order a part and it would take approximately two weeks and it would be sent to the residence. Well it’s been four months and the part still has not arrived. After the fourth service call, the repairman advised my mother that the part was on back order and they had no date of when a new part would be available. The repairman offered no solution to my mother. She wanted replacement due to the fact it had been four months and still no part. On behalf of my mother I went to the local Sears to speak with a manager. I Advised the manager of the situation and told him my mother would like a replacement and he said he was unable to authorize or make that decision. It’s been a week since I spoke with the manager and still nothing has been done. My mother feels like she is left with no other alternative but to take legal action due to the fact they have not honored the warranty. Keep in mind my mother has two warranties on the dishwasher; the sears personal warranty and the manufactures warranty, which it was still under at the time machine stopped working.

Sears worst for appliances

For decades, Sears was the top store in the US for buying dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, and other major household appliances. But with Sears closing hundreds of stores, shoppers are now going elsewhere for these major purchases. Lowe's and Home Depot now sell more appliances than Sears, and new players, like Amazon and JCPenney, have been entering the market. Consumer Reports surveyed 42,000 shoppers to determine which retailer is the best for buying appliances. Customers rated the retailers on categories like price, selection, and service. Out of 22 major appliance sellers, Abt Electronics and Appliances had the highest ratings, followed by Amazon, Costco, Nebraska Furniture Mart, and R.C. Willey Home Furnishings. Lowe's and Best Buy ranked 15th and 16th, respectively, and Home Depot ranked 19th. Abt and Amazon received top ratings in almost every category, but Costco had higher ratings than both retailers for prices. Coming in last place among the major appliance sellers were Sears and Menards. Menards got poor marks for selection, service, and website usability, a subpar rating for price, "and only a middling rating for its in-store atmosphere," according to Consumer Reports. "Sears isn't much better than Menards overall, buoyed only by favorable marks for installation and haul-away scores." The survey asked readers to rate 62,000 appliance purchases they made from spring 2016 to spring 2017 at 30 chain retailers across the country, as well as from independent retailers and manufacturers.

Sears Theifs

purchased extended warranty for my Kenwood kitchen range model 970-636234 which expires on 19 Dec 2017. One of the element heat could not be adjusted. I called sears home service Canada and they refused to honor the extended warranty because they are Bankrupt. These thiefs tried to sell me the "surface element infinite s which might solve my problem for 180 $. They should give me this part for free because am still under parts and labor warranty. My service agreement # is 118513885300003 Sears CEO and owners stole my money and probably enjoying a nice vacation . They are Number one crooks- thiefs .

I will never bu from Sears again

We purchased all new appliaces in February. In November are refrigerator stopped cooling ruining all of our food. A repairman came out the day before Thanksgiving. He told us that we needed a new materboard. He did not have one in stock but said one would be availble ina week. It is eighteen days later and the part is still not available. I called Sears repair and they said that the part is expected to arrive on December 22nd. I told them that we can not go without a referigerator for a month and i wanted a refund or credit. They refused. i was told that you mustwait one month before they will process a replacement request even for an essential appliance likje a referigerator. I asked if there was any guarantee that the part would be availble on Decemer 22nd and was told no. I asked if the part was not in availble on December 22nd would they guarantee that I would have an ew refrigerator by Christmas and they said no. I will never purchase another appliance or any product for Sears in the future.

Another reason to never buy an appliance from Sears. Remember, the Sears of today is no longer the Sears, Roebuck & Co.

of yesteryear.

They are apparently on the ropes, financially. Best get used to seeing Sears just a memory of the past.

Sears - Screwed me out of black Friday!

I made a purchase for several clothing items during black friday online and after two wears received nothing about my order so called and was told they ran out of the items they let me purchase at the time that were in stock. I exclaimed i chose to buy from them even though there was 1000 other black friday deals at the time and they just laughed at me.

Sears - Horrible Fridge Purchase

I purchased a GE fridge from the Toms River NJ store. I wanted the fridge because it featured a freezer on the bottom. Well what a lousy setup that turned out to be as the freezer was NOT frost free although it was supposed to be. The service technician named Ken Moore ( ironic right? Kenmore) was at our home multiple times unsuccessfully trying to repair this piece of junk lemon. Sears refused to make good on this fridge despite an exhaustive amount of time scheduling and hosting multiple repairs, time lost to no shows, food lost dealing with overseas operators- the whole shooting match. I have purchased multiple appliances since and am happy to say none of them were purchased from Sears and none of them are GE. I will NEVER do business with Sears again. I am happy they are closing stores. They do not deserve to be in business.

We ordered a number of items for our bathroom renovation from Sears and these were sent through Sears Marketplace Vendors. Upon receipt we discovered that one item was incorrect and the other nothing like the color we ordered or needed. So I went to make a return through Sears on-line process. Told us to contact Marketplace vendor directly.. After 3 weeks of no response from these vendors which did not even have secure sites of contact,I contacted Sears Management . I was told my order had been pulled and was no longer within the 30 day time frame eligible for return. Recently read elsewhere others have continuously experienced problems with Sears's Returns, particularly with Marketplace Vendors. Suggest no one ever buy anything from a Sear's Market place Vendor. According to my credit card , Both vendors collected their money 1 day after the purchase was made. Do we have a big scam going on here?????? Sears had little concern about customer issues. We will never purchase from Sears again. Sad after 50 yrs. of being their customer. Catherine
