Sears - Horrible Fridge Purchase

I purchased a GE fridge from the Toms River NJ store. I wanted the fridge because it featured a freezer on the bottom. Well what a lousy setup that turned out to be as the freezer was NOT frost free although it was supposed to be. The service technician named Ken Moore ( ironic right? Kenmore) was at our home multiple times unsuccessfully trying to repair this piece of junk lemon. Sears refused to make good on this fridge despite an exhaustive amount of time scheduling and hosting multiple repairs, time lost to no shows, food lost dealing with overseas operators- the whole shooting match. I have purchased multiple appliances since and am happy to say none of them were purchased from Sears and none of them are GE. I will NEVER do business with Sears again. I am happy they are closing stores. They do not deserve to be in business.

Sears marketplace vendors

We ordered a number of items for our bathroom renovation from Sears and these were sent through Sears Marketplace Vendors. Upon receipt we discovered that one item was incorrect and the other nothing like the color we ordered or needed. So I went to make a return through Sears on-line process. Told us to contact Marketplace vendor directly.. After 3 weeks of no response from these vendors which did not even have secure sites of contact,I contacted Sears Management . I was told my order had been pulled and was no longer within the 30 day time frame eligible for return. Recently read elsewhere others have continuously experienced problems with Sears's Returns, particularly with Marketplace Vendors. Suggest no one ever buy anything from a Sear's Market place Vendor. According to my credit card , Both vendors collected their money 1 day after the purchase was made. Do we have a big scam going on here?????? Sears had little concern about customer issues. We will never purchase from Sears again. Sad after 50 yrs. of being their customer. Catherine

Sears - Frig freezer frozen shut for 3 months

August 31 bought a Kenmore Frig delivered the first week of Sept . Come Oct freezer door frozen shut . Called for repair came out 3 weeks later. Tech could not get door open tech left made another appt for a week later so two tech could come to open freezer. They left and made another appnt for another tech to come and replace gasket. Was told to turn off frig for 24 hours. Tech came out and was able to open freezer fixed gasket and within 4 days the freezer was frozen shut again . So know it's a week away from thanksgiving I call again for another appointment they can come out Dec 5 turned the frig off once again 24 hours off tech could not open the freezer. Tech called his supervisor said he be out today Dec 6 no show no call. Called customer service again they said they cxld my call because they had no tech. So know my frig has been off for 48 hrs and the freezer still won't open. Called customer service again and they can come out on Dec 22... Got to love sears I am beyond frustration ... they need a lot of help in there customer service . I own 5 homes and have always used there appliance for my rentals . But after this experience I will never shop with them every again . I been shopping there for over 40 years . This company sucks big time.

My problem has been resolved with my range when I posted my complaint on December 6, 2017 I received a phone call the next day it took a little time for them to resolve but I did get it resolved and I'm very pleased

Sears Installation and repair

Our oven was installed but a few weeks later I discovered it was not maintaining temperature. It took several weeks to get some one out. He couldn't find anything wrong but never tested to see if the temperature in the oven dropped. The problem continued. We made another appointment. It took several more weeks. The service man concluded "It's not maintaining temperature" (DUH!) "We have to order parts and schedule an appointment. The first one we have is Dec. 6" (3 weeks away), We confirmed and ordered the parts. The parts arrived. On Dec. 5 we received a confirmation of the appointment scheduled for today and we called twice to to reconfirm. We called this morning to get clarification of time. We were told THE APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED. OUTRAGEOUS. WE SPENT AN HOUR ON THE PHONE WITH PEOPLE IN THE PHILIPPINES WHO WERE USELESS (NOT THIER FAULT). WE FOUND THE SERVICEMANS PHOINE #. HE WAS NO HELP -- BLAMED IT ON THE -- HE DIDN'T KNOW WHO. IF WE HADN'T CALLED WE WOULD HAVE WAITED ALL DAY FOR A "NO SHOW" BUT THE MOST RIDICULOUS - STUPID THINS IS THAT WE NOW HAVE TO WAIT 2 MORE WEEKS FOR SOMETHING THAT SHOUL HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF MORE THAN 2 MONTHS AGO. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!

I ordered my sons Xmas present on 11/24 got a receipt and confirmation that they were processing the order and would arrive on dec 5th on dec 4th it was confirmed the order would be here the 5th.. never came I called Cs they said I’m sorry we cancelled the order we are out of stock we placed money back on ur card .. well i no calls saying it was cancelled or emails and no money returned , I was on an hour and a half and at the end of the call , I was basically called a lier and it was all of a sudden a bad order card rejected .. but they will give me 10$ of points or something to shop at sear .. how nice of them.. SEARS STEALS FROM CUSTOMERS AND COULD CARELESS THEY WRECKED CHRISTMAS and didn’t return my money.. AND WOULD HELP IF CUSTOMER SERVICE UNDERSTOOD ENGLISH. I said I have my receipt and bank statement he said call bank cuz on his end I have no order they now haven’t charged my card .. DO BUY BUT SEARS ON LINE no wonder they are going out of business theives

On 11/27/2017 I rejected the delivery of a DAMAGED Craftsman tool set that i ordered. It was on sale for $49.00. Case was broken, tools hanging out, taped together. Sears gave a credit for the $49.00 and i was told to reorder for $89.00. This is Deceptive Trade Practice. I will be contacting The Attorney General for the State of Texas.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.... My refrigerator has been paid off for 4 weeks.. Never once have they sent me a ownership receipt.. But every time i call they are in process of sending it OR its on the way or give it another week... I can go on for hours talking about how they lie so bad.. They apologize over and over again and know damn well NOBODY HAS SENT NOTHING and don' t plan to..please just try and save your money and go somewhere else and finance it.. I will NEVER deal with them again... If you read this and then go and do business with them, ITS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU
