By the end of January, Sears (Cross Country is the subcontractor they use for their home warranty) stopped answering any of my attempts to communicate with them. Yet they continued to charge my account for the monthly fee.

I ended up filing a complaint with their local Better Business Bureau in early February. After receiving this complaint, Cross Country immediately contacted me.

Another 7 weeks later and I received a check for the total cost of the furnace, which I deposited today. Assuming the check clears, I can now pay off the loan I was forced to take out to cover the expense in early December.Lesson learned.

Hi I purchased on Black Friday all the appliances for my kitchen and ask them to make sure it happens on the 1st of December they guaranteed me that it was so I took off that day from work well Sears only delivered the range and fridge they didn’t send the microwave and dishwasher so I called and they said that they had it for December 2 and that I was going to get a call from them to confirm time I never got call and again took off from work another day cause they said the 2nd””” I called to see the time they were coming and they said no sorry I have it for Monday 4 I got angry they give me the number to called them came to find out that no they only have till Tuesday the 5. so we will see what happens they are so UNPROFESSIONAL is ridiculous I’m done I will remember the way they are treating me and will never consider SEARS FOR MY HOME IMPROVEMENT.

Sears - Received busted tool box from online order

Details
They sent me a busted tool box with all the tools in the bottom of the box. The box was busted in two and they threw everything in a box and shipped it that way to me. Now I'm getting the run around by customer service. Was told to take it to the store. I did and now they tell me it has to be done online. The picture is exactly how I opened the box.

Sears - Poor Customer Service and Delivery

I purchased a dishwasher from Sears on November 3, 2017 and they promised me deliver on November 13th. I stayed home from work that day and lost a day's wages. Unfortunately, they did not show up to deliver my dishwasher. They promised me a second deliver date of November 16th and I stayed home that day to receive my dishwasher that never came. The next day I called and said I wanted that order cancelled and my money back. I was told they couldn't do that, they couldn't cancel my order. They transferred me to a bunch of different departments, most of whom were closed so that I could not get anything done. The next day I called and said I wanted that order cancelled and wanted my money back, again, transferred many times but someone finally told me my order was cancelled but it would take 10-15 days to get the money credited back to me. Tonight I called to see the status of my refund and was told the order was never cancelled. I hate Sears and will never do business with them again. The Customer Service is terrible, I can never speak to any one who has clear English diction, you can never get the correct department to help you, and now I am adding theft to the list because I can not get my money back.

Sears repair service

Bought a Kenworth"elit" 2 years ago after under 1 year and covered. the thing begain to make ice on the Freg. side. After there "Sears" It still made ice. After 2 more times of parts and repair , the freezer quite also. Two more times of that and 3 months. Not repaired. Note: appoints canceled the very morning of so called repair work. Trying to get these people to fix this very dissappionting. I think they delay in order to make you go away. If they continue to delay and cost me money. "$3000 in new appliances" I must sue. Sears - Horrible Customer Service & Scheduling

Called & made an appointment with a person that was completely incompetent. She said she emailed me service time and info, however never asked for my email. When I asked her about it she read off someone else’s. I gave her correct email & phone number. Received no confirmation. I called back because I was concerned. Again phone number was not in the system. Man said he fixed everything and a technician would be out from 1-5. No ever showed. Never got confirmation email or text. Called to see what was going on. Was placed on hold & forwarded to someone else 5 times, twice rudely. Finally was told the service was canceled. Was given no explanation as to why it was canceled. Then wanted to reschedule a week out with no apology or attempt to redeem their mistake. Have been on hold for over 20 minutes now, as I type, dealing with another incompetent rep trying to reschedule.

October 30: Samsung washing machine will not drain. call sears to schedule repair. have to wait two weeks for a technician. Nov 13: technician replaces drain pump, says machine is working. after he leaves, I wash a load of towels. Machine still does not drain. :-( Call Sears, they have tech call me. he says try something lighter. it still does not drain. Sears cannot schedule another visit any sooner than 2 weeks out. Nov 29: technician expected 1 - 5 PM. Sears calls at 4, says tech is sick. earliest appointment available is three weeks later on Dec 20. NO ONE in customer service or protection agreement can schedule sooner. so, October 30 - Dec 20 without a washing machine, and if they have to order parts, even longer.

After saiting months for "the part to come in" received a robo call telling me the technician would be there the next day to complete the repair. Waited all day, no show. When I called today they tried to pass the buck. Can I sue them for waiting time in small claims court?

OMG i am so angry. .I bought a new dishwasher 11/6/2017 picked it up 11/12/2017 had a licensed plumber install it at a cost of $125. It does not work correctly so I called repair service and had an appointment for today 11/30/2017 Sears called and said they have to reschedule because the repairman is sick. WHAT THE *** IS GOING ON. They have my money I have a junky dishwasher that does not work, never worked. the store I bought it from in West Branch Michigan said I can bring it back but i have to pay a 15% restocking fee, WHAT!!!!! You sold me junk!!! and I will have to pay again for a plumber to hook it up. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. If Sears does not make it right I will be in court with them, that store.
