Sears - Day 1 dead washing machine and weeks after pick up still no

Bought Maytag washer and had it delivered. Upon hookup spin cycle didn't work and had service tech confirm and send e-mail proof to outlet store#05298. Outlet store picked up washer and now two weeks later and multiple calls getting forgotten on hold and twice now no call back still no refund!!! Worst experience on every level and was told there would be no problem!!! I'm about to drive down in person pissed!!! I will never buy anything from any Sears after this.

Sears is not refund my money

I have bough a washer and I also have it return since it is not working I call customer service and they can not do anything they said I should go to store where I bough to have it return and I went back to store they said that they can’t do nothing and suggested that I should call customer service this is terrible customer service and I end up with no one to help me please don’t buy anything from sears I think they try to get as much money as they can before they go bankrupt beware if SEARS

Lawn mower blades from Sears

We purchased lawnmower blades at Sears and found that they were the wrong ones. This would not be a problem for most people however the 2 Sears closet to us are 80 miles one way and 100 miles one way. We were unable to go for a month and were told that we were one day past the return policy of 30 days. I can understand for soft goods but lawnmower blade that do not change I don't. They certainly had others. And we actually just wanted to exchange them for the correct ones and they said NO. We even talked to the Manager who said we should put an ad in the paper and sell them

Sears in Gilroy, California - Protection agreement not worth a *** thing

We purchased and had installed by Sear's certified plumbers, a new 50 gallon natural gas residential water heater in 2014. In 2017, it stopped working, tried to get the pilot relit by following instructions, but malfunction code came up whereupon the frustration begins. I called Sear's home maintenance and they could only send a technician out in two weeks time. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE as this is four days before Thanksgiving with guests coming into town. I asked if I could hire a plumber to come in and repair and send them the bill. They said that is not allowed as the warranty would become null and void, at which point I was ready to forgo the warranty. All this took two calls where I was on hold for 35 minutes the first time and was hung up on and the second time for 1 hour and 20 minutes. I called a couple of local plumbers and found that they cannot get parts for Kenmore as it is proprietary and only Sears certified folks can get the parts. We ended up buying a new water heater at $1,700 and will NEVER buy Sears again. I have been a faithful customer for over 20 years, all of our appliances are from Sears, but no more. Now I know why they are going bankrupt with service like this. This is a scam...get customers to pay extra for maintenance, and when you need it, they can't perform driving their customer to remedy elsewhere, voiding the warranty and Sears pockets the money.

Sears in Lorton, Virginia - Poor scheduling for Carpet Cleaning in Washington DC area

I was scheduled for carper cleaning on Tuesday, November 21 from 1 pm - 6 pm. A Sears representative left me a voice message on Saturday, November 18 to confirm. left them a message on the same phone number they called me from confirming my appointment. After taking off work on Tuesday, November 21, I called to check on the status of my appointment, and was told Sears did not receive a verbal confirmation of my appointment. First, the Sears representative said their carpet truck for my area had been broken down. Then she came back on the phone and informed me my appointment was cancelled because I did not verbally confirm it. Then after getting off the phone, Sears sends me an email informing that I am required to verbally confirm my appointment. This basic, scheduling task is too challenging for Sears and I will never use them again. Tolerated it far too long. It costs me too much to take off from work.

I am fighting with SEARS as well. My problem is with a Kenmore Elite fridge.... BIG $$$... but the REAL problem is SEARS! Had it 3 years and it completely stopped cooling altogether. Certified service technician basically said it's not worth the cost for us to repair. After being told by SEARS the manufacturer does NOT have any warranty beyond one year (I even asked him to double check), I did further investigating to find out it does cover a refrigerant leak related to defect (as is the case) for FIVE years. Problem..... SEARS has to order the part b/c that's where I purchased it. THEY have to diagnose it through the exact SAME technician we already paid but it MUST be scheduled and installed through THEM! The fee is $100 to have the SAME technician come back and write the same diagnoses! This is a covered manufacturer's defect, why should I pay to have it fixed? What is WRONG with this?! We've already lost quite a bit of our refrigerated/frozen food. SEARS better make every penny they can off their customers. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars there over the years and never had a major problem where we actually had to deal with them. Several phone calls and rude customer service agents later, I have made zero progress! I will try to find a loop hole in which I don't have to deal with SEARS! will NEVER purchase appliances (or anything) through them again. I have never boycotted prior and I'm not usually a complainer.

Just call and cancel it they will give you a refund. Hire a reputable local repair company you will be glad you did.

When they do show up it will be a salesman who can’t fix it anyway and will only be worried about selling you more crap they won’t honor. Rochester NY

I bought a washer and dryer from Sears. First washing machine came banged up, called to have it swapped out. That took 3 phones. I also paid for a pick up and haul away service. 2 months later I'm still waiting for them to pick up. I call every week and every week they claim to be sending someone to pick up. Now, customer service can't help me and directed me to call the store where I made the purchase. I want to kick myself for TRUSTING SEARS AGAIN! I have yet to have a good experience when making big purchases with them. First time was a patio set. Long, long LONG story short, we ended up with 2 patio sets, banged up and when SEARS finally agreed to come set it up, they had to use different parts from the two sets to complete one. BTW - the chairs didn't even hold together. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.

Yo pague casi 7 años de aseguranza y al final no cubrio porque el tecnico dijo que se hecho a perder por negligencia, Yo pague mi propio tecnico y el diagnostico fue diferente del tecnico de Sears, En mi experiencia Sears esta tratando de ahorrar y no arreglar los enceres domesticos, Les conviene mas que compre uno nuevo
