Sears - Kenmore Hot Water Heater Service

I purchased a Sears Kenmore Gas Water Heater and had it installed 3/17/2015. Heater stopped working September 1st, 2016. Waited 12 days for warrantied part to arrive and be installed. Heater stopped working again on August 30th, 2017. Am in the midst of again waiting 12-14 days for a warrantied part to arrive. In the meantime my family (especially my aggravated wife) are all pretty miserable. Sears, you guys suck - last time I will ever do business with you. Of course I was told that if I had purchased the Extended Warranty Package, they would have already taken care of the issue. Which pretty much proves, this is a business decision by Sears.

Pathetic is a nice word for them call and get a refund on your warranty. Also contact the bbb and the news media. Rochester NY

Sears - Appointment never showed

I made an appt. On a saturday for tues 8 to 12 refrigerator part broke for the third time. I called appliance service and they overbooked and did and cant show up. I lost a day of work and they want me to take another day off of work and that is 4 dayz from now. 10 days in the summer with rotted food i am handicapped and cant unload my refrigerator. I have callex every dept including headquarters. I called the repair company westport appliance no help they said sears does this all the time. I have been a customer for over 45 years and will never ever purchase or walk into a sears store again

OMG, this is what just happened to me. I bought a new mattress for our base. They told me and my husband about how they have this new leasing program. Our mattress was $600. They said that we would pay $144.00 for five months. The sixth month they took money out of my account. I called Sears and got the run around and they gave me the leasing number. I called them and they said yes I paid all five payments and even the sixth but I had to pay $1200 all together in five months for a $600 mattress. Since I did not do that then I will now have to pay the mattress for 18 months at $144 so by the time I am done or would be done I would have paid $2500 for a $600 mattress. I am so pissed off. I tried to cancel but they hung up on me. Please let me know if anyone can help me. I will never ever shop at SEars.

Sears - Poor service on repair schedule

Hot water heater went out again. 9-1-17 called for service told 9-8-17 was my service date. So i am to stay dirty for a week, poor service for warranty. Will never buy sears product again know wonder they are sinking poor service on their products. MAD

I tried to get a copy of my receipt. I could not find it when I got home. I called costumer service and she said she could help me if I read the number on the receipt to her. I called the store and the guy that sold the item to me said he could not remake a receipt. I said I will need it if the item breaks, it has a full 3 year warranty. He said that warranty won't cover anything. I said, the box reads 3 year full warranty against material defects and workmanship. The salesman said, that won't cover anything if you want coverage you need to buy a warranty. So I wanted to confirm this info and tried calling the store I normally shop at several times and no answer. I tried the wed site and was even more frustrated. I can see why Sears is closing stores left and right.

Sears - Beyond frustrated!!!

We purchased a Kenmore central air system last summer. It took them a month to get around to installing it. We live in Ohio and only use air for about 4 months in the summer. This summer it began freezing up. I called for repair at the end of June... couldn't come for 2 weeks. The technician came and said he had to order a new compressor. We waited another two weeks. Waited all day, they didn't show up. The guy didn't come till the end of the next day. He replaced the compressor which worked for three days. And the unit began freezing up again. Called for service again--another two weeks. This guy came, said he couldn't fix it, put more coolant in it and said he was turning it over to the installers because when they installed it they didn't replace the tubing. We should expect a call in a couple of days....three days later I called because I hadn't heard from anyone. The technician hadn't followed through and we had to schedule another time, for another technician...another week. We waited all day yesterday. No show again!! I called and was told that he was here and fixed the unit. (I was waiting here all day, watching for him). He lied. Now we a rescheduled again. September 11! Seriously? We've been trying to get this unit repaired for over two months. Winter is coming, but I'm not giving up. Sear needs to stand by their service agreements, and in a timely manner.

Sears - Horrible company

bought a treadmill, scheduled a delivery time for 5pm-7pm. Received 2 confirmations for that time by e-mail and text message. The morning of I received a phone call from the delivery company stating they will be at my house btwn 1 & 3. I immediately said no, I wont be home, I have a scheduled delivery at 5 -7. He said ok. That was at 9am. AT 2pm received another phone call from delivery guys saying they are at my house???!!! Really?? I told you I wouldn't be home!. My 14yr old son was home, so I decided they are already there, don't want to reschedule, let me just have them deliver it. So I allowed them to come in and was on face time with my son while they were there. 5 min later they tell me they are missing parts for the treadmill and will have to return it to the warehouse. At that point I had had enough so I got on the phone with customer service immediately and canceled my order. The lady who I could barely understand hung up on me because she could not comprehend what I was saying. So after numerous calls back to customer service they say they will refund me my money within 7-10 business days. We shall see how true that is. I am very upset with my experience with this company and their customer service. The address says Texas, but when you call you get someone in the Phillipines. They are terrible!!! Avoid at all costs. Really wish I read sears review before making my purchase.

Where is it the Sears laundry detergent that came with my first washer? I have used it for over 50 years. My daughter and daughter-in-law used it also. We can't find it now. At least tell us what we can use as a substitute. Very disappointed in Sears dropping this...

Sears - Dungarees levis stretch pants

I bought two pairs of men's dungaree at. Price of 104.00 dollars. I put on one and kept the other for the future. I washed the first pair and follow directions.i tried to put on these strecth Levi's the did not fit at all after wash brought back to Sears store in rockaway nj they would not take these new pants back. I have been a customer for forty years. I know they that they Never did bussiness like this before and if you Had a problem the exchange a bad item. I refuse to be rip off and will not allow the form Off sale I will not recomend them to anyone
