WARNING! Do not shop sears/kmart

I ordered a refrigerator by phone. The Rep. and I itemized to ea. other the correct product numbers. When I recvd. email confirmation, it wasn't at all what I ordered. I told them not to cancel but to switch the product numbers and ship my refrigerator. They said they'll pass it along to manager. So long story short, I told them either way do NOT CANCEL. order until I speak with mngr. she was worst than the all the others I had to deal with. She called me the next day to say She canceled it. Instead of making an easy fix. They all were very rude, callus and cruel. Said my money won't be refunded for a week which is unacceptable. They still didn't care. So I had to call them back again to replace $sooner. They did not budge. So my money is floating around and I have no refrigerator being shipped they didn't even try to work with me. It's been years since I shopped with sears/Kmart because of all the problems they cause. I gave them a second chance and they blew it. I told them I'm done I will absolutely not go back. PERIOD. The story doesn't stop there it got worse. But I'm sure a lot of you consumers already know the rest of the pathetic story. Menards is far better. I'll continue my business there. Good luck to fellow consumers. Sears and Kmart are failing bc of the problems. I can't wait till they close down for good.

Sears - Order lost by Demar

Ordered a band saw on 7/24/17. Sears tracking said it should be here 8/7, no show. Called local Sears was told they couldn't track it because it was ordered through a third party. Went on line to Sears chat on 8/8 and was told it was in transit with a Demar shipping. They gave me a tracking number, it had been delivered to their terminal in IL, on 7/31 and left on 8/1, there has been nothing added to tracking since. They had a statement on site that they normally deliver within 10 days. I called them and after a 30 minute hold was told that it should arrive at their local terminal possibly on the 11th but no later than the 14, at which time we would receive a call within 24 hours to set up time for delivery to our home within 24-48 hours. 15th came with no call, so I called Demar back. After speaking with three different people was told they had lost track of our shipment. I asked for a refund and they told me I would have to contact shipper. I did that and after them trying several times to insist on another saw they agreed to a refund, but that won't take place for 48-72 hours. We will be waiting and WATCHING, not patiently though.

Frigerator failure with a headache with Sears

I've been dealing with Sears repair... on a less than a two year old refrigerator since June 28th of 2017 they have got this thing all messed up they keep telling me that they got the compressor for my refrigerator backordered and it's under a factory warranty even... and I just got off the phone with someone today which is August the 14th 2017 and they said that it shows I've received the compressor which they don't know what they're talking about because there's no tracking number they never sent the compressor to my home I've been dealing with this and I have got a total headache they act like they do or they don't have a clue and there's no one that you can talk to that really .. to go through and navigate to get it corrected are dun ! ..texas.

Sears in Memphis, Tennessee - Poor customer service and warehouse management

Purchased a NordicTrack C 1270 Pro Treadmill at Sears store in Memphis, TN on 16 July, 2017 for dilivery on 29 July. On 29 July the driver called stating that it looked as though the Treadmill had been dropped and that it looked like it was damaged. He also stated that the box had been torn open and poorly taped back together. I refused to take delivery and when Customer Service called I explained all of this to them. They apologized for the inconvenience and rescheduled the delivery for 8 August, 2017. On 8 August the delivery men arrived with a Treadmill in a box as described by the driver 2 weeks earlier. When the box was opend there was mud inside and the Treadmill was clearly damaged. After the driver photgraphed the damage they closed the box and took it away. This was clearly a total lack of proper communications between departments and complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Improper supervision and lackadaisical attitude by employees in the warehouse allowed an obviously damaged product to be placed on the truck not once but twice for delivery. The order has been canceld and I will find another source. And they still pay those people, unbeilevable.

Make sure you take pictures and save the defective part. You will have to deal with Sedgwick and they try everything to prevent paying a claim.

Record your calls and also contact the bbb news media and a lawyer. Rochester NY

Sears - Class action anyone?

Mine is with a dryer I originally purchased online and to say the least I've had nothing but problems with them. It's kinda like a bait and switch with this and they will pull everything they can to outlast that warranty. Reschedules and whatever that's how they are. They all do lie. I'm on my 3rd dryer...because the first two were faulty...1 actually blew up a bit and the heat ended up gouging the side of my bosch he washer. They picked the dryer up on 8-4-17 and I was told my refund would be expedited...well it is 8-11-17 and no refund so I called the customer relations line yet again and was told that it just got to the "warehouse" today so I can now expect my refund in 7 to 10 business days. They said they have it documented that it was picked up on 8-4-17 but had to wait until it arrived at the warehouse to start processing my refund. Guess what? I called the local store and the person laughed and said "it's still sitting right here in the back room so I don't know what they're talking about." So needless to say...it's been a huge cluster f dealing with these people and I am now seriously considering an attorney. 3 months without a dryer...and well over a $100 I've had to spend going to the laundromat to do my laundry....and let's not forget all the stress and b.s. lies....I was thinking if I could find enough people perhaps we could get a class action suit going.....any takers?

I purchased a combination wrench from Sears, and went back 29 days before the end of the return policy. Could not get a refund or exchange, contacted the manager on duty, no help. Could not reach the store manager with the problem. It was now days after the expiration, had to contact their Corporate Office. Was given the wrong address, instead I went to another Sears store and was able to get a number from the store manager. He gave me a number to contact. I contacted the 800 number and was more then pleased with the out come. Due to the incident, I was able to get points from the purchase, (a refund), and keep the wrench for all of the inconvenience.

I bought a new lawn mower 33 days ago. Today when I tried to mow my lawn it would not start. I took the lawn mower back and was told that I could not exchange it because I was 3 days past the exchange date. They did say i could take it to the repair shop and it would be covered under warranty. But when I get to the repair shop they tell me warranty will not cover dirt in the carburetor. I cant believe a mower that was purchased 33 days ago broke down and i have to pay for the repairs. This was going to be only the 3rd time that I have used it. I will never do business with Sears again.
