Sears reached out to me in an email and apologized for the poor customer service I received. As far as a refund all they could offer my mother was 10,000 Shop Your Way Bonus points at a value of $10. It is something but not enough for me to ever shop at Sears or Kmart...

What? Did you even think that through? 30 days applies to you, your mother, me, the president, the queen of England, ALL PEOPLE.

Same policy for every single person who decides to spend their money there. You spend money there, you agree to abide by their return policy.

Sears - Customer service

repair man never shows up for scheduled appointment. They always have to call and reschedule. I waited two months last time and I had to finally call another repair service for my washing machine. Sears will not listen nor take credit for their mistake. I Talk to complaint department today she said she could do nothing about my appointment that was once again canceled for today. They waited 30 min before time was up to let me know they were not coming for my scheduled appointment. I have waited for 4 hour on a repair man. I do not recommend sears nor taking out the service agreement because they never show up when they are suppose too. We will see if they come on the next day that they have scheduled. VERY BAD SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

If i had one wish - it would be to take a sledge hammer to the 2 year old washing machine i bought from sears and to send a piece of it to everyone of the customer service (ha! ha! thats a joke!!) Reps!! What a crock of *** this washer is!! And more discusting - what a crock of *** the "customer service" reps are!! When sears goes belly up - which i hope & pray is REAL soon, to cut down on the # of poor souls that grew up with kenmore appl. and think they are good - will be a glorious day in America!! What a disgrace Sears has become!! I'm sure Mr. Sears and Mr. Roebuck have roled over so many times in their grave - they are a few feet deeper than they were originally!! This is no different than anywhere else. You get the refund back how it was paid.

As they would not have a way to send the money back to PayPal via their registers, you get store credit or nothing.

This is not new, this is not specific to Sears. This is universal truth.
