Sears - Freezer under a year old that ices up immediately after manually defrost

I bought a freezer on line april 6 2016. it was 17.3 cu ft upright freezer. I paid $476.99 reduced from $749.99. I thought sears was reliable and had good products. this is the first time I bought on line and the last. we are senior citizens and I feel like I got ripped off. I have had other upright freezers some frost free and one manual. never have I had such a problem. after I defrost the freezer it ices up immediately like I never even defrosted it. when this happened the first time I called Sears. they sent a repairman who said this is normal. maybe for an inferior product. I never had these problems with my Woods freezers. I finally called again last week since I am always upset when I open the freezer. Sears sent out a repairman. he took one look and said that's the way it is with this design. he even said its better to be so iced up in case there is a power outage. WHOEVER designed this should get out of the business. I called again today, told them how unhappy I am. was transferred to other people. the last person told me we have a bad connection and we were disconnected. I waited for her to call me back as I had given her my number. obviously that isn't happening. we are redoing a new kitchen. I will NEVER buy another product from Sears. I did have a foreign woman tell me "you chose it". I didn't realize you sold such inferior products. I am on a chat with many hundreds of people. word of mouth goes a long way. when you are doing renovations everyone asks you whom to use. I tell them about this lemon of a freezer that I have and paid good money for and NEVER to buy it.

Sears - Unproffesional Security Guard

Dear Sears Store Manager: Mr. Soto Sears Desert Sky Mall # 1708 March 13th, 2017 My wife went to the store with the kids (6 yr. and 8 yr. old) on March 13th 2017 at 1200 pm, to buy a new waffle maker machine (Appliances department), my kids like any other kids love to touch and explore items on the store, (they were not running, jumping or playing) they were just touching the items around to find out which one to buy and the security guard “Jannet” (name tag) yielded at my daughter (8 years old) and stated “don’t touch it” with a mean and rude attitude, intimidating my daughter...... my wife and myself did not agree the way this security guard approached my daughter, instead of approaching my wife regards any unlawful actions my daughter was doing which were none. She just went off my daughter disregarding my wife’s presence. We come to the store all the time and we have been costumers for long time. I really do not appreciate the way the security guard approached my daughter using intimidation. It supposes to be a family friendly store and more than anything with professionalism I would like the store manager Mr. Soto to take care of this incident since my daughter was not stealing or doing any kind of vandalism. Sears - Received Dented Rolling Tool Box Set - Will Not Replace

Last Sears order or buy for me ever. I ordered a Craftsman Tool Box set rolling cabinet with two other boxes to set on top. I have waited a long time to get one. The rolling box was delivered 4 days ago and I was going to put together on the weekend. I opened the rolling cabinet box and the back and corner have some big dents. The shipping box was fine so it appears it was packaged this way. I called customer service and told I couldn't get a replacement because their policy is they only accept past 3 days and this was the 4th day. I asked where this was stated and they said on my receipt. This is not listed on my online receipt anywhere. I'm 60 years old and have been a customer of Sears most of my life and have spent a considerable amount of money and still do. They got my last dollar. Deeply disappointed!

You are remembering the old Sears, Roebuck & Co. we all grew up with.

That is no longer. I stopped buying from Sears a few years ago and have never missed them.

I called the number to get a refund worst customer service and liars outsourced to goat land! 30 days wait same process no results and it's now March 2017!!! Don't buy anything from Sears!

Order a part that I was told came with instructions. Didn't come with anything including an invoice. Numerous calls to customer service department. No one cared. I can write them a blank check because they won't even give an estimate. Tech has to come out. Great money market scheme.

"Ordered a 2016 Business TurboTax advertised as new. Disc came in an envelope without a box and had a minor scratch on the back. Only after trying to upload did I notice that Disc does not have the intuit imprint which assures authenticity and has a label that is completely different from the official label. In other words this is fraudulent product. Now in trying to upload it I've opened myself up to viruses or worse. The vendor claims she had 'run out of product' so bought from a 3rd party on Amazon, who sent product straight to me. How sleazy and unprofessional. I did get my $ back after raising a big fuss, but if this vendor isn't deleted from the Marketplace I will know that Sears could care less about quality."

These shysters have already devised other ways too to get out of honoring warranties. I have a 8 mo old Kenmore range and the electronic panel that controls the oven and everything else just went out.

They sent a repairman out to try and find a way out of honoring their warranty. They took the back panel off and found some roach droppings and refused to honor the warranty! They are going out of business because their products and business ethics are no longer the same ones as my grandfather told me they were. They are a dishonorable business now.

I have all kenmore appliances, none more than 2 years old. I will never buy anything Kenmore again!

In 2016 I bought a stacked full size washer dryer set from sears. It touted being able to dry a load of 20 towels at the same time.

After it was hooked up, it couldn't do a normal load of clothes. The drum would not turn unless I removed over half the clothes. They sent out a replacement and it had the same problem. I sent it back for a refund and they charged me a restocking fee.

Currently, I just bout a range from sears. It is still under warranty. The control panel for the oven just went out. They sent out a repairman who refused to honor the warranty because he found roach droppings on a fully enclosed part on the circuit board.

There was no way a roach could have gotten in the tight fitting part on the circuit board and it was totally enclosed in a case. Sears does everything it can to get out of honoring their warranties. I fear what will happen when the 2 yr old side by side refrigerator I bought from the starts breaking. They are a dishonorable company now.

They are not the same one whom my grandfather was committed to. He owned nothing but kenmore appliances.

I have all Kenmore appliances. The oldest one is my side by side refrigerator, which the lame ice machine has never kept up with any family use.

Even though it has the latest ice acceleration function. That is frankly *** My latest and last purchase of kenmore was a range. The main control board for the oven just stopped. Not even 8 mos old!

The repairman came out and took the back stove panel off and found roach droppings on an enclosed breaker fuse on the control board. They refused to honor their warranty agreement with me. They are a disreputable and dishonest company now.

They are not the same company whom my grandfather bought all his appliances from. Before they go out of business, which they will with these disreputable practices, we should all get together and file a class action lawsuit against them before there is no money to get.

Sears - Home Delivery Service Review

I purchased a washer and dryer For my daughter on 2/26/17. They indicated It would be delivered on 3/1/17. To date we have received nothing. We have made numerous calls, stayed on the line w the CSR number and warehouse number for hours. They have even hung up on us a couple times. No one speaks good English and they always tell us it has been escalated to a supervisor and they are reviewing it. They have toms is numerous times we would get a call back shortly and reschedule delivery time but that never happens. Today I received an email saying they wouldn't help me Because it has been delivered. No one delivered anything, signed for anything, or received a call from Sears. Furthermore they indicated the street they delivered it to and it wasn't even my street. We live on Oak Lake. They indicated they delivered to Oakland Rd. I can't get anyone to help me and can't talk to anyone with any authority. I have been a Sears customer for decades and always buy my appliances there. This is the last time and I will share my Nightmare with others as well. This is horrible customer service. I demand a refund immediately or I will have no recourse but to take legal action. The order number is 844936978. HELP!
