Just spent three hours over the last two days trying to get somewhere with a “manager” named Janelle that didn’t listen to a thing I said. Kept asking me things I had already told her. I had ordered two purses and received a pair of shoes... not even close!!! Now I have nowhere to take it and they won’t send out the merchandise I purchased until I send them the shoes I don’t even need. You can’t access the return label for three days after they email it to you.

I see why Sears is closing now. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

It's sad for me to say that I spent almost 4 hours making about 9 different phone calls to sears to place an order for 6 items! I have the item numbers and these people can't seem to get their act together! Here are some of the issues I encountered: 1. I would get free shipping if I spent over $35, my items came to about $42.00 before taxes. 2. I was told I couldn't use 2 different gift cards to make one purchase. 3. I was told to call back the next day to place my order. 4. I was told that I needed to use my Visa Gift cards and purchase Sears gift cards to make my purchases. 5. I was told that they needed to break my order down into 3 separate orders so that I could use 2 gift cards. 6. I FINALLY got someone to place 3 separate orders and then I received an e-mail about 15 minutes later stating that my order had been cancelled but no one could tell me why! No one bothered to call me 7. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON that I should have to call sears about 9 times to place ONE order for 6 simple items!!!

I bought a brand new washing machine and got a piece of junk!

I bought a brand new washer and dryer that was delivered and installed in early February. I started washing clothes right away and always wash in cold water. I put the setting on cold, added clothes, detergent and closed the lid. I did this for a few weeks and one day had to add a piece of clothing and when I opened it, I realized the water was hot. I then switched it to hot to see if it would come out cold, thinking the hook-ups were switched when installed. It too was hot. I called Sears the next day and they said they would have a repairman come the following week. I asked that he make it his last stop as I get home from work at 4:45. I got a call the following week at 12:45 saying he was at my house; I could not leave work, so it had to be rescheduled the following week!!! The man came at 7:00, which was fine. He took the top panel apart and determined that there was something wrong with the panel and said he would have to order the part that wouldn't be in until April 10th. That meant I was going to be without a washing machine for 3 weeks! I was not about to go to the laundromat and pay $20-$25 dollars to wash my clothes when I had a brand new machine sitting at my house!! I don't want my machine repaired, I want a new machine, that's what I paid for!!! If I wanted a repaired machine I would have kept my old machine and had that repaired!!! I have owned Kenmore machines for 45 years and have always been very happy with them! They are nothing but junk anymore and that is what I will go on every Social Media and tell millions of people just that! Don't buy Sears JUNK!!!! what happened I order some parts they sent me the wrong Parts the first time call them told to talk to her supervisor and turned around send me the complete mandolin house assembly when I received it took it out of the box went to put it on the lawn mower no housing did not get tap and die from the manufacturer could not mount it to the deck called and talked to the supervisor again last night was told that that was going to ship me out another one for the 18th of the month have not received any confirmation via email I don't understand what the *** this *** is man somebody please give me a call 903-**** ****

Sears - Roman Chair online defective
I bought a Roman Chair (a piece of exercise equipment) online without creating an account just as a guest. I later find out I need to have an account to get the marketplace guarantee. DON'T SHOP AT SEARS The item was defective when it arrived making it impossible to assemble. The 3rd party vendor Winado wants me to take a picture of the item. I don't own a camera and am disabled so this is out of the question. The item was already packed back into the box to be shipped back. So we are at an impasse. I have not heard back. I only get lip service. DON'T SHOP AT SEARS!! ESPECIALLY ONLINE UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE. I AM OUT $59.00 and hours of phone and online time trying to get this resolved.

They will charge you for cancelled orders

Long story short not all Sears sell their items at the same price some charge you more some charge you less for the exact same item. The online purchasing service takes advantage of customers though this. The Sears.com service will send you to a Sears home or Sears store when the two places have different prices and return policies. If you have an issue or problem and try to return your sears home item to a sears store you can't. I ended up placing an online order for an item that was more expensive at one store and then I found out the hard way that it was cheaper at another store. Obviously I wanted to cancel my order within an hour after having placed it. The charge showed as pending for days and then I got charged. Sears charged me for an order that was cancelled instead of cancelling the order outright. So instead of cancelling the transaction they decide to charge you for a transaction and then refund you at their leisure of 5-7 days or whenever that is. What this company does is try to hold on to every dollar they can make. Their going bankrupt closing stores and you will get shafted by them. I doubt I will get my refund I already see that I will have to dispute this with my card holder.

What I leave out the story is that I physically drove to the store to cancel my order and the manager I'm guessing since he was the only employee in an empty store with no customers gave me an excuse about needing a "refund or return code" that would have to be printed out on the order confirmation e-mail. This guy knew he was full of crap I never heard such nonsense or an excuse not to provide a customer with a cancellation/refund in my life. Apparently there's no way that Sears can cancel an order at the store the order is supposed to be picked up by but if you call their customer service some random person in India oceans away can???

When this store closes for good I will be in the parking lot shooting fireworks and popping campaign. This place needs to be out of business. It's their faulty products, shady warranty services and strange return practices that got them in this hole. It's a shame knowing how good of a store Sears was 20 years ago to seeing what it has become in present day.

Amazon didn't do this to you Walmart didn't do this to you this company did it to itself. Always being cheap and always cutting corners and weakening their name brand. Craftsman went downhill the day they decided it be a good idea to manufacture their products in China. What we got in return was Harbor freight level quality tools with a premium price.

Everything I've ever purchased from Sears broke. Lawnmower, Electrical Saw, Air Compressor,hand tools, etc. all broke and all made in China with a craftsman label. However tools I that are 30-40 years old with Craftsmans name on them made in the USA still work like a charm. Even my Kenmore Washer and Dryer haven't missed a beat I couldn't kill them if I tried. If Sears kept up the quality they would never have been in the mess they got themselves in. Good riddance this place is a shadow of what it once was.

Same thing just happened to me I ordered a card reader and the order got cancelled automatically but I’m still charged. As of now 3 days later the charge is pending but has not came back.

I called them since it’s the 3rd day of the 3-5 day refund and I called my card and they said to tell sears to send a letter head for my refund and the sears lady said the vendor hasn’t responded so theirs nothing we can do until they respond in at most 2 days. This is ridiculous how tf do you charge a card but cancel the order

I bought mattress vs box from north Austin sears store and i payed for delivery, they scheduled shipping for me to next day but on the next day they call me and they want to rescheduled for a week, I was ok week later they did same thing four times over a months and finally they said it is lost. They Don't have it in the store to. It was bad experience. I'm still waiting it is almost two month

Wanting to use my freecash on a pair of snapring pliers

A sales associate named Brent or Brett was not interested in helping me. I asked specifically for snap ring pliers, and his reply was that he didn't think they had any. I decided to look around for them on my own since it was for an important project. After a few minutes of browsing I found 2 pair hanging on a hook. I wanted to let that guy know that yes indeed they were in stock. I saw him again while walking to the register and let him know that in fact they were in stock. Also I thanked him for being so helpful letting ME look for them. I then suggested he learn the tools and their location. I became more frustrated after he showed no interest in acknowledging his poor behavior towards me. I cussed his *** out and told him I'd take them elsewhere to pay for them since I wanted NOT to deal with him any longer. He was under the impression that I was going to leave the store with them and not pay, I was just going to another area to be helped by someone different. He insisted on following me and then took over the cash register of another employee. I gave him my phone number and it didn't come up, so he just gave me a full price total and I said nope, try again. 2 others followed as well and a female in dark clothing entered my email address and was able to give me my $13 freecash towards the pliers. The whole negative experience could have been avoided if only he took interest in what I was searching for, hence the term CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. He needs a week of training so he becomes an efficient sales employee for your company in my opinion.

I purchased a $900 outdoor patio furniture set that was sent to me damaged and because I didn't open the box within their very strict 3 day window it is now my fault !

Sears drug me along thinking they would replace my damaged furniture for nearly a month before reaching the executive level and being told "theres nothing we can do this is our policy." WELL your policy is crap. Not everyone opens huge boxes of furniture immediately and therefore as soon as we opened the box and found the damage we reported it and apparently those 8 days were too late and they have not offered a single solution to our issues. I have spent nearly 10 hours of my life on the phone with their customer service department to be told nothing of importance and no remedy to my situation. Even better news is that the furniture is now rusting at only 2 months old because they can't make a quality piece of furniture.

I went there to have GMC service for change oil, the man said it will be finish for 2 to 3 hours, so my husband and I went to the mall, after 2 and 1/2 hours I told my husband we can go back there and just wait for the remaining half hour, I was surprised that the truck was still there were we park, I went inside and asked the guy, if it’s done, his response was no , I got upset and told him why you said 2 to 3 hours? At this time instead of saying sorry he also raised his voice, my husband and him have a confrontation, my husband might have said something , it’s because we felt being ignored and what upset me more is when the guy said to my husband “ an animal like you doesn’t deserve to have a service, so I called the supervisor, and told him the situation, but I’m surprised too, he also have an attitude, supervisor said “ what can I do we are very busy, here’s your key, and you can leave “. I think the behavior of this two are unacceptable.

Contracted for shower replacement, was to be a 2 day job. Five months and 6 contractors later the shower doors still do not fit. The shower was escalated to cover holes and cracks placed in the walls by the first two contractors. The escalation probably caused the misfit of the doors.They would not order doors to fit the new size of the shower. I was tired of the aggravation and inconvenience I had to endure five month so I am stuck with doors that allow water to get on the floor. Customer service does not care about the customer, they only want to do a botched job and collect the money owed them without satisfying the customer. Do not contract Sear Home Improvement Products unless you want to be aggravated and inconvenience for months and they do not bring drop clos and will install defective material and hope ou don't notice.Ser

Bought a Kenmire elite fridge 1.5 years ago. Recently stopped cooling. Needed 3 major parts, some under warranty but still cost over $400 to repair. Had to order parts which took over a week and then a took another week to get technician out to install parts. A week later my fridge is NOT COOLING AGAIN! Customer service is outsourced to god knows where and can never speak to a manager. Had to live out of a cooler for two weeks and looks like I’ll be doing it again. Sears sucks! Apparently techs don’t carry parts for the appliances and don’t have access to any in the state of Utah? DO NOT BUY FROM SEARS!

My microwave handle popped off the second week in April. I called sears to schedule a repair appointment.

I was told that for my appointment on April 15th, that the technician would have the part when he came out. I took off work for this appointment, only for him to walk in my house and tell me that he thought that I had the part, not him. I was then given another appointment for today (May 4) and the part STILL has yet to arrive this is ridiculous! How are they still in business?!

Now they are telling me that I need to contact the protection agreement department and file a claim. For what?!?!

They literally have NO solutions for anything! They will not last much longer!

Appalling customer service

I purchased a refrigerator from Sears. The first time it was to be delivered the delivery men said it wouldn't fit through the kitchen door. The refrigerator was returned to the store. The manager and I measured it after it arrived back and there was 2 inches to spare to get it through the door. The refrigerator had sustained significant damage. I was promised a new door or unit, but in the meantime a 2nd delivery was arranged for the same refrigerator until the claim could be squared away. The delivery was scheduled for 6-8pm but by 9:10pm no one came. I was eventually told that it would be !0:30pm or later. That time is unacceptable to a working person, and who knows if 10:30 was even realistic. Today I was to be first on the route, received an automated message that delivery would be 8:30 -10:30. It is now 12:40 pm. I have spent 80 minutes on the phone with Sears customer service who could not get anyone in the delivery dept to answer. They see that there is a note that I was changed to the `14th stop of the day, somewhere between 8-midnight but no onecan really confirm this.
