SEARS TRYING CHEAT ME OUT OF $329.23

I purchased a toolbox combo and when I got it out of the boxes found the bottom chest damaged and it was made too light for my needs.(I'm a mechanic and need it to hold a lot of weight) I ordered another one heavier this time and took it back to a local SEARS store them was told to give the local store a receipt from sears.com. The store didn't want to help just give me the run around telling me that they needed to see proof it was paid for.

SEARS.COM told me then that they need proof that it was returned.

I got very angry about this BS and paid my sears card off and closed my account they are still trying to cheat me out of the $329.23. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!!!

Paid extra to have a washing machine delivered on Sat. Was scheduled between 12-5. At 5 machine still never showed up. Sit on hold for 45 minutes and was assured that the machine would be delivered today still and the driver would be calling. 2 hours later no call and no washing machine. Called and sit on hold for another 35 minutes and was finally told that they had a problem with the route and would not be able to deliver the machine for another 7 days. I will never buy another thing from sears!!!

Worst experience ever

I am a SEARS customer. I purchased a refrigerator from the SEARS outlet in Lenexa, KS 6 weeks ago. The fridge immediately stopped working. We had a technician come out and he said we needed some parts to fix it. We had to wait two weeks for the parts to come in. The parts came in and the technician came out to fix the fridge. The fridge did not get fixed and stopped working again in the middle of the night. That was over 3 weeks ago.

Since then we have tried to schedule multiple appointments with the technicians and they have been terrible to work with. We had an appointment for Friday the 2nd of March, but we could not be home until after 3. So, the person making the appointment said she would tell the technician not to show up until after 3. They showed up at 1:45 and so we didn't get our fridge fixed. We had to wait another week for it to get fixed.

Which brings us to today Saturday March 10th. We had an appointment scheduled with the technician from 8am-12pm. The technician never showed up. And, so we called the 1800 number and the people said our appointment had been rescheduled to Wednesday March 14th from 8am-12pm without our permission. We were not even called to tell us that our appointment had been changed. We called the warranty people, costumer service, the technicians and everyone else in your organization we could think of and they all said, "Sorry, you'll just have to do the appointment Wednesday." They also said the appointment was rescheduled because the technician showed up and we weren't home. This is a LIE. We have been at our home all morning. The front door was open at 7:30am.

We paid all this money for a fridge that doesn't work and extra money for a warranty and this is what has happened.

NEVER BUY SEARS!

On 3/15/18 I called for a service man to repair the seal on my refrigerator be replaced. Sears gave me a date of 3/17/18 between 1pm and 5pm at 6:45 pm the service man called an said he could not make it. They rescheduled my appointment for 3/22/18 between 1pm and 5pm again no one showed up so we again called the and they said no appointment was scheduled and said they would be out on the 23 of March between 8am and noon and again he did not show up, when we called this time they told us he would be out on the 28th of March between 8am and noon when they were not here at 11:45 my husband went on the computer to get the number to call and see if the service man was coming, and he saw that they re scheduled us again for tomorrow 3/29/18. We have spent over 25 hours waiting for a service man to come to repair on refrigerator, we have insurance on 5 appliances until 2021. At this point I wish Sears would take all there appliances back and give me a refund and I would go else were to purchase and service my appliances. My time is just a valuable as Sears time. I am so upset I have contacted The BBB. And Yelp about your service. What is left to say. Never again.

Can anyone help me get my washer replaced?

Kenmore washer purchased 8/6/17. Made noise from the beginning, bu we tolerated it. Then on 2/9/18 the washer walked across our laundry room. Called for repairs. Sent a local co. tech and he said that's the worst damage I've ever seen. Balance weight was a factory defect and couldn't be attached properly (that's why it fell off.) The tech pulled out a couple of handfuls of parts of the tub and balance weight. He said that I would probably have problems even after he replaced the parts. I asked him to tell them that the machine needed to be replaced. He said he is only allowed to order parts per Sears. The parts would take a week. Meanwhile I called to ask for a replacement, told them what the tech said. They said no. A week later no parts, they were on back order with no idea of when they would come in. They did reassure me that if the parts were not there in 30 days that they would replace the machine. I asked if I would be reimbursed for the laundromat expenses. They said "of course". It is now 3/20/18 and no parts, no replacement, no reimbursement for laundromat expenses. I have called at least every other day for an update and received nothing new . Called home office and they are equally as rude as the customer solutions dept. Don't know what else to do...Can anyone tell me what else I can do at this point?

Don't shop at SEARS!

I too am fed up with Sears. My dryer stopped working. We have a 3yr. warranty. I called Sears and was scheduled an appointment with a 4 hour window. No one called or showed up by the 3rd hour. I called and spoke to someone who was polite but probably in India. I was told I would receive a confirmation e-mail and phone call regarding the situation.No one called. I repeated this process 3 more times. Additionally, I had to repeatedly update my phone number and address each time I called and it never was corrected. I finally called and had to demand to speak to a supervisor. She politely let me know that I didn't have an appointment, that they send the request to a third party. The third party calls. In the interim while waiting for someone to call me, I also called the manager at the Sears where I purchased the appliance. That person hasn't called me either. I will never shop at this horrible place again!

Ordered a product through sears marketplace , didnt realize it would be shipped and controlled by a third party. The product is the wrong thing and when i tried to return it , i was declined. I was also told i would have an answer in 48 hours , and it took 5 days. I will never order or set foot in a sears again.

I purchased an HVAC unit from Sears and they quoted me a price of $10,000.00 plus told his I did not want to pay that price for entire unit at this time. The service contactor come be with a price

that was in my budget. Me and my husband talked it and purchased the unit now sears it tell me that I need to obtain an quote from another and show the proof that they would install my unit at the price stated on the agreement. Sears will not credit my card back so called the corporate office the complaint department and was transfer me 8 times 6 different that could not locate me in the system with the reference number provided for them. This was an 9am call which part of the resolution did not get resolved but two angels escalated to the correct people to handle the matter at hand. AngryAngryAngryAngryAngry

I have spent hours on the phone trying to get resolution of a refrigerator which was defective on delivery and is now a big box in my kitchen that has no use. The compressor quit working, after the original defect of nonworking lights was fixed. I have now been without a working appliance for 6 weeks. It takes 2 weeks to get a service technician to see what the problem is, another 2 weeks minimum for a callback with parts. The latest fiasco was that the compressor which was shipped was defective. Sears just doesn't care about customer service.

Scammed into Warranty, where they fix NOTHING

I signed up for Sears Home Warranty services because my gas range wasn't heating up all the way, where I'd select 350 degrees but it'd only get to 200-250 degrees and then beep that it's preheated. I also had asked if I could cancel any time without being penalized, but I must've misheard that because I tried to cancel this morning and was told I'd be charged a cancellation fee of $250!!!! So far I've paid nearly $500 in monthly charges and service call fees, yet I have an oven that has the same exact problem it had originally and now I'm on my 3rd service appointment to allegedly fix my range. The technician must have gotten tired of dealing with me the last couple times because he marked the job complete and said it's "normal" for an oven to vary by 100 degrees. NO IT ISN'T! The cookies are completely raw and still in a large lumpy ball after 15 minutes of cooking, when they should be flat and crisp around the edges. I wanted to just cut my losses and cancel because Sears has not met it's commitment to me whatsoever, but was shocked by the cancellation fee that I'd be forced to pay with the debit card they've kept on file... even though they haven't held up their end of the deal!!! Now I've forced to continue paying $50/month through October, so in the end I could've just bought myself a really nice oven with all the money I've wasted being scammed by Sears. Shame on you Sears!

Immediately DISPUTE the charges made to your debit card. Your issuing bank/financial institution has a fraud management and fraud prevention mechanism within each card issuer.

You can have your account "Ghosted" whilst another card and account number issued to you in the interim (In House). They will investigate and protect you from other charges (which go often beyond the scope of your normal spending patterns and the merchants on line or at the physical company location, whilst the initial dispute takes place. Depending upon when the purchase was made, you can request that your bank/issuer impose an immediate Charge Back to the merchant/business while the Fraud team examines the whole mess. Professionally, I do EXACTLY this for a living, and can offer some assurances and guarantees as to the process.

However, DON'T PUT IT OFF ANY LONGER.

Side by Side Frig nothing but headaches

We purchased a Kenmore side by side in September 2015 and in the 2 1/2 years we have had to spend at least half of the cost of the frig on repairs to the icemaker. The reasons we got were: software not quite perfected, the factory lines installed were not correct, etc.

We can honestly say we bought the Kenmore based on reputation and good info from family and friends, but have regretted the decision ever since.

We were even harassed by Sears Credit for unpaid service bills, which had been paid at the time of service and the technician stepped in with proof which meant nothing to the credit officer and took several weeks to resolve. Lesson learned and never again to purchase Kenmore products.

Bought a new home 1.5 yrs ago. Had a 12 yr warranty on Hot Water tank. Tank starts leaking after 11 yrs. Ease right. Well, not so fast. I was informed warranty not transferable. As you read one of there warranties that is not stated. They not only wanted my left nut but also original person who had this installed ALONG with actual paperwork with install date. NO, I am not kidding. Sears/Kenmore Warranties are a joke. Kenmore is a joke. Sears is a joke. Just another day when the average guy gets screwed. It is sad to see at one time a pillar of America, SEARS and now they are left with screwing people as they exit the scene. Can't see this company around much longer 2-3 yrs tops. RUN. Ed

I'm laughing but not at Sears or Kenmore ... you expected a non verifiable transferred warranty more than a decade after it was purchased by someone else ? -- and I bet you expected a brand new replacement as well for something that has virtually no cash value according to any logical depreciation schedule known to man...you're awfully free with the term "joke" but I'm sincerely suggesting that the "joke" is on you.

Im not very happy with sears are boiler broke on april around the 20th we called to sit up appointment lefted my aunt there waiting for the tech guy to show up they state they rang the door bell which my aunt says they didnt we called to sit up another appointment which was schedule 5/2/18 i was working so didnt answer my phone right away so called them back about five minute later for that reason they cancel my appointment called customer sevice got hange up twice went down to sears to reshedule appointment since i had asked to speak with a supervisors and she kepted hanging up on me sears then told me maybe they will come Monday never will buy anything from sears again since there employees are very rude and stupid

My delighted reading machine came with damage and my mistake i decided to keep it as long as they keep their endof the bargain of my 150reimbursement. It was never received and each time i call they haveno record of this, then someone else states its not possible because they have me credit points instead which i NEVER AGREED TO!!! Bait and Switch after Purchase

Purchased a range, delivery scheduled for Nov. 25, 2017 between 6:00-8:00 pm.

I cancelled, would not allow a night delivery. Rescheduled for Dec. 2, no one showed up, called Sears told only the the gas range connector would be delivered. Next delivery date Dec.

9th, called on Dec. 7th to confirm Dec. 9th delivery. Sears rep.

stated range not available, blamed manufacturer, but would deliver gas range connector, as before I decline delivery. Sears rep offered 15% off gas connector. Declined and now new delivery date is December 23rd. No range delivered on December 23rd, called and given same excuse.

January 2018 finally delivered range, it was rejected top of range crushed. Second delivered range, side of range crushed in-noticed this after installation. Immediately called Sears requesting a replacement, told they did not have a replacement and did not know when one would be available. Went to local Sears store and made another selection.

Called backed on Jan. 21 requested the change, told it would have to be approved by upper management. Called back on Jan. 22 with the same request told it would take 24-28 hours for upper management to approve.

Jan. 24th called back and told I did not contact them within the 72-hour time to lodge my case. When challenged and given date and times I called placed on hold. Finally agreed to make change and next they wanted a credit card number to charge for the color change.

Did not give credit card number, told Sears rep it was on Sears as they did not honor my selection of range. They accepted my money however I had no product. Finally received a range, however after delivery made I located a scratch. Sears came out Feb.

9th and was told I would receive a new range on Feb. 23rd. I have a copy of the "Delivery Summary Route" with a written note "2/23/18 Pre-inspect unit before delivery. Range need to be replaced ASAP" No range delivered, called Sears and Sears rep stated no delivery was scheduled.

Called several times with not resolution. Finally I was told again that I did not call within time frame, when confronted with documentation then placed on hold for long periods of time and my call dropped to loop again and repeated my story to 6 different people within an hour. Even though I had a copy of the delivery sheet with the written statement, Sears would not change the range. I have not used the range.

This experience with Sears has left a bitter taste with me that Sears does not honor their end of a purchase. I will not purchase from Sears again. Then Sears rep asked when I received an email she would appreciate it if I gave her a favorable rating on her helping me that day.

Really, after the poor way Sears has handled my issue, why would I give a favorable rating. How insulting.

Wow, just got home after a heated battle with these clowns. Bought a dishwasher and the install a few days ago.

Was told it would have to be ordered. Would be at the warehouse by monday and install on Tuesday. I received a call Monday and was told dishwasher was in they would be by Tuesday morning. Well it wasn't till my wife got home that they called to reschedule, didn't even call my phone just left voicemail on hers.

They have both numbers. I missed a day of work for this and I still don't have a dishwasher. When I finally talked to someone i told them I didn't want the dishwasher I would like my money back, then was told delivery would have to cancel. I said ok cancel it and give me my money.

Unfortunately it would take 7 -10 days for refund. I said no way, I paid with my debt card, not credit. You took my money, you were suppose to provide a product and service and it did not get fulfilled. Told her fine I want a receipt showing refund and was told nothing was available.

So at this point I started to cuss which finally got my receipt.

I hate sears I shoped there for year, all my school clothes came from there and to be *** on like that just proves why that store is going under. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THERE!
