I have been a loyal customer of Sears for more than 3 decades. I received 2 tools for Christmas that I wanted to return or exchange. Both are in sealed original packaging with a receipt dated "01-01-01". I stood at the register for 30 minutes while a manager "attempted" to refund the purchase at the store and eventually I was told to contact "National Relations". No further info was given. After contacting Sears National Relations, I was told after several days there is nothing they can do for me, maybe I should contact the manufacturer. They are Craftsman tools, sold by Sears - ridiculous. No refund, no exchange, no thank you. This is why Sears is going out of business. There is no reason to shop at Sears

Sears in Temecula, California - I believe a lot of people are getting ripped off

I purchased a top of the line refrigerator with my Sear's Credit Card and the sales person talked me into buying there 3 year extended warranty. When you use your Master Card they double the 1 year factory warranty making it two years, and the 3 year extended warranty that they charged me $ 400.00 extra for only covered 1 year. Some lawyer should look at this with a class action suit in mind. I've had seven service calls in less then 4 years with this lemon. All due to a faulty ice maker probably a design fault. Customer service is unbelievable if you can get through to them, they put you on hold and somehow the line gets disconnected.

Never shop for appliances at Sears

I recently remodelled my home and I decided to go to Sears to buy my new appliances. Big mistake! Very bad experience! I received my new Pro refrigerator with dents right in the front. For that they offered a credit. What I am most upset about is that my brand new dishwasher came with scratch marks above and below the handle on the front panel. The handle was already attached to the front panel when it was installed. After installation we removed the protective film and we saw the marks. Because I reported it after 3 days they will not help me exchange it. Really? this is not fair at all. So I have my refrigerator with dents and my dishwasher with scratch marks. Customer service are the worst people. I have never had such a difficult time in my life. I spent so much money and they really don't care. After speaking to God knows how many people over the phone I decided to go to the store and again I was on the phone until the store manager who was really upset about all this decided to help me out and put in a complaint and still the only answer I got is no exchange. In other words "to bad we don't care". I just want everyone who needs to buy at Sears know what they do. I didn't remove the protective film right away because I wasn't done installing my cabinets, so I didn't want to mess anything up and so 4 days passed and I called right away. I am really upset.

I have a 2013 craftsman yt3000 riding lawn mower, would not start,took it to get repaired said it was the compression relief spring, the repair shop found it laying in bottom of mower,the repairman said it should've never went out this soon,

SEARS PROBLEMS WITH APPLIANCES AND WARRANTY

I have had a problem with Sears Kenmore washer from day # 1. Worse , has been the negligent and poor customer service provided by Sears . Poor record keeping , poor customer service , miscommunication, stringing the customer along , hanging up on consumer when trying to seek a remedy.... etc, etc., etc. If you've had a similar problem please reply to this thread with your email as I am going to be starting a class action suit against Sears Holdings , LLC. Please reply with a description of what you bought and what troubles you experienced with your item, along with how warranty support failed you. Sears - Over Charged

The diagnostic tech said we needed a new pump. He ordered the pump and scheduled the repair and we paid for the part and repair. When the repair man finished the repair he presented the total bill. After he left, my wife looked at the bill and said it was higher than the bill given to us by the diagnostic tech. The repairman changed the REPL charge from $80 to $90 and this increased the Labor Tax by $0.65. We were over charged $10.65.. I called Customer Service and the girl could not understand what the error was and hung up. I called the next day, they still did not see the error, but they offered me a $10 gift card. I refused because I did not want to spend more money at a Sears Store. I wanted my $10.65 refunded. They put me on hold and hung up after 30 later.

Worst experience of my life, never buy sears again

The salesman, George, in the store was decent. My problem began when I needed to change a delivery date. I was doing a total kitchen remodel and was not sure when my kitchen would be ready for appliances. As it turned out, I was 3 weeks early and George had told me as long as I gave then up to a weeks notice, I could change the date, either way. When I called to change the date, first off I had to talk to angry foreigners who told me absolutely no. So I hung up and called again, thinking I just got a bad customer service representative. This time I got another angry customer service representative, who I had to threaten to cancel the whole order, go to the store and repurchase for an earlier date....magically they could deliver it the next day. It came on a Saturday (in a rented truck, by guys that don't look like they can move appliances, much less install them) and my contractor did not go to install until the following Tuesday. They told me there was a big dent in the refrigerator, so I had to call. Good thing I caught it within 72 hours (that's a magic amount of time for sears, as everything takes 72 hours) or I would not be able to return....NOBODY EVER TOLD ME THAT, I was lucky. From that point on I was on the phone with foreign customer service representatives (that I could not understand and accused me of putting the dent in the refrigerator). 7 days later, I finally get approval for a exchange. They new refrigerator is now delivered by 3 "stoned" guys that smelled like yesterday's chewed tobacco, whiskey and ***. They put a 4 inch scratch in my new wood floor and couldn't figure out how to connect the waterline to the ice maker....really, and they charge for installation? Sears you should be ashamed .... I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING from you again as well as discourage anyone I meet... bring your customer service back home, while you still have customers left.

Why not lease it through Sears is a ripoff. Unless you want to pay 3-4x what a product is worth don't use this program. It's a very expensive lesson on really reading the terms of a *** agreement.

Called Sears to service my refrig...ice maker making ice but won't dispense thru the door...service person shows up...after 15-20 minutes says it's an electronic problem...charges me $100 to NOT diagnose and says it could be a couple of things and it would be approx $400...we declined. called local guy...took him 15 minutes to diagnose and repair the problem... charged me $35. A&E, the Sears repair.service co, was no help...called to complain after talking to whoever answered the phone asked to be transferred to a supervisor... was put on hold, then hung up on. what's up with the 100 word floor? that's my story
