Washer & dryer scheduled for delivery from 5pm - 7pm. At 7am the morning of the delivery got a automated call stating my delivery was canceled due to bad weather. Told to call the delivery phone number to get more information. When calling the number my call went to a International call center. I spoke to 3 different people all of which I could hardly understand and who could not help me. Then called another number, in Texas. They gave me another number to call - still no one could help. The sun is shining and its 49 degrees outside. Forecast is showing same weather conditions at 5 - 7 this evening...Not sure why my delivery was canceled/rescheduled...sun and 49 degrees is bad weather,for Central PA in Jan? My appointment is now scheduled for Saturday, the worst weather forecast day of the week. Go figure. Sears lost a customer!

Sears in Falls Church, Virginia - Terrible Experience and Poor Customer Service

I have had an absolutely terrible experience with Sears--I strongly advise to never purchase large appliances from them. I ordered a brand new GE electric gas range about a month ago and the oven is STILL not working after having to *** work to have not one, but THREE service technicians out to take a look at it. Parts were ordered to fix the range but 'damaged' so the technician could not make changes. It was clear the technician who came to my condo had no idea what he was doing as he had to actually face time someone else to help him with the repair!!!! Every single time I have called customer service to try to get this issue resolved as fast as possible, they keep recommending to schedule ANOTHER service appointment!!!! I haven't had my stove working over the holidays and it is absolutely unacceptable for a company to operate with such poor customer service where no one is accountable or responsible. The saga continues whether or not my stove will work... absolutely ridiculous.

I have tried to go through the proper authorities for this but NO help at all. We gave my mom a stove last xmas and the glass cracked just before this thanksgiving. Sears sent someone out a few weeks later. They ordered a top and gave us a date. My mom waited all day...

Today SEARS was to show up to put parts on. I started called at 10:30a and was informed personal would be at my residence by 2-4p.

At 3:51p called and was informed personal were at my home at 2p.

I would like to know who's house he went to because it was not mine. ...

The bottom line is that no one should buy a Sears product ever again, given the current state of their "customer service" unreliability. I see Stanley products is now going to manufacture the Sears Craftsman line.

This means Sears is further along on a vertiginous descent into oblivion. As you stated, warn everyone you know.

bought a washer and dryer, took advantage of, no interest one year contract. First payment through citibank direct, was not accepted put me in arear, and therefore was charged at end of contract, full interest. I was told that payment was sent to wrong address? address selected by citibank, rest of payments went to same address and had no problem, they held my first payment, did not cash it to render it delinquent. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SEARS AGAIN. Cheaper at Lowes, and they treat you like a valued customer.

Got an email back from them. Not resolved yet.

The reply just stated that I have a repair date and I should be happy. The service department is very busy. I just have to wait until the repairperson shows up.

Sears - Sweater Review

I purchased almost $700 of clothes for Christmas gifts for my wife and grandchildren at the sears store in cape girardeau Missouri. This morning after I had left for work my wife went to put on a sweater that I had given her and she found a small hole in a seam on the shoulder. She was going up to cape today which by the way is over 60 miles from us. She thought since the tags was still on it she would just exchange for one not damaged. Well customer service rep would not allow it without receipt. I think since it had not been worn and tags were clearly still on it that an even exchange for the exact same thing should have been acceptable but no!!!!! This on top of a lawnmower that has always left a streak of uncut grass since purchase and a brand new tiller that the transmission jumped out of gear the first 3 minutes of use and instead of giving me a new one I had to call repair center and they had to order a new transmission to go on a rear time tiller the day I bought it. Guess I am through with sears and craftsman. Ever appliance in my home is Kenmore brand but I won't be shopping in your store anymore.

If you are a veteran, you (of all people) should know what policies and procedures mean. Even if you don't like them.

As a fellow vet, I must ask though: Why did you feel it was necessary to add the completely unnecessary few words about being a vet?

If you weren't a vet, you would have been just fine with their answer? Or did you drop that line to make people feel sorry for you?

I respect all vets. Just don't respect when they try to use that past service as a reason to get what they want when that service has nothing AT ALL to do with the topic on hand.
