Sears - Kenmore Refrigerator Review

I had a Kenmore refrigerator delivered Christmas Eve . The fridge stopped working the next day and ruined $250 worth of groceries . Because I didn't purchase an extended warranty my food could not be replaced . I also waited all day for someone to pick the refrigerator back up on the scheduled date just for the delivery guys to call and say their truck broke down. Customer service called to reschedule another pick up date because the drivers lied and said I was unavailable . Never will I purchase from SEARS AGAIN!!!!

AGREED!! I will NEVER, EVER order anything from SEARS.com EVER AGAIN!! After saying the item was available for In-Store Pick-Up, they canceled the order as a "out-of-stock", but my Credit-Card was still charged. I was unable to get anyone from SEARS-CHAT to help, and could never get through to anyone about the problem. Finally, I had to drive to my local SEARS Store (over 10-miles away) on two occasions to confront the Store Manager to get this problem resolved. It took over 45 days from the original order for me to get the $517 due back to me to be refunded on my Creditcard. If I didn't have better things to do, I would seek an Attorney and/or make a claim with the BBB. At a minimum, I will tell everyone I can about my bad experience and encourage EVERYONE to NOT BUY ANYTHING AT SEARS!!!

Sears cancelled my order and charged me more than what I paid for

I purchased several tool items online at Sears, 3 items in total. I had a friend whom purchased one of the same item's several hours later. He picked it up the next day no problem. Later that same day (Today) I received an email from Sears telling me that the Item that I ordered (same as my friends) was no longer in stock and not available so they cancelled that item which was 1 of 3 total. Tonight I checked my order status in my Sears account and found that it was indeed cancelled, and they had now raised my online purchase price from $79.32 for all 3 items to 86.32 for two items. I am no math wiz, but how can they raise my price by $7.00 when THEY cancelled an item in my order? I tried the CUSTOMER SERVICE phone line and spoke with a woman who had a difficult time with English, the phone conversation dropped, I waited for a return call.... Nothing.... I did get a email wanting to know how my experience went and if my issue was resolved.... *** NOOOOO, I will never ever shop Sears again. They are crook's. I will fight for my last 7 dollars no matter what it takes!!!

Same thing here. $3,700 Kenmore Elite refrigerator (2015-2016 model) failed.

A restriction in the refrigerant circuit caused the compressor to fail. They have no tech support or anyone to explain the issue to. They sent out 2 Sears technicians to troubleshoot. These guys were not very smart...

they're the typical "parts changer" type.... instead of actually finding the problem. Plus they wanted to charge me $500 to replace parts that are brand new. So there went $100 for nothing...

Sears is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Poor customer service, overseas.... I would prefer talking to a robot.... just as useful...

Ignorant So-called technicians that just charge folks a lot of money, for nothing. DO NOT BUY SEARS PRODUCTS EVER AGAIN.

You stated, "the tree had an electrical short and would not light up"; however, in both pics the lights are working. That does cause a bit of confusion on making your statement that the tree was working properly.

SEARS ONLINE, not related to SEARS STORE nor SEARS PARTS/SERVICE

Needed new washer/dryer; went online and Sears advertised they had what I wanted INSTOCK in Hilo so ordered along with all recommended accessories. 2 week delivery. It arrived w/wrong stacking kit and no left vent as ordered. They had to take items back. After several phone calls to Service and Head Office was assured venting would be looked after but even though stacking kit was available in their Parts Dept in Hilo Online had to order it and it would come 3 weeks later. I found part at Home Depot so rescheduled delivered. Talked to 3 separate service personnel to ensure venting was done. Guess what, delivery was again attemped but could only bring washer as dryer was not vented. Made calls to head office, no answer. Hilo Store said they are separate from Online. Very helpful said if I could come in and pick up part then deliver 4 blocks to store he could have it done. I am other side of Island so asked if I could pay by credit card and was told I could not unless it was a Sears Card. So now have to drive over to other side of Island pick up part (oh by the way, when I call to make sure part is available there is no answer and have left several messages) and then take part to Sears store. Beware Store is not related to Online in any way. 3 DAYS AND STILL WAITING FOR SERVICE TO CALL ME BACK. VERY UNHAPPY. Hopefully product is better than service.

Sears - Shop Maintenance Agrrement

On October 27th-2016 I purchased a leaf shredder and maintenance agreement. I returned it the next day and was told the sale was going to be voided. They never cancelled the maintenance agreement! Now I receive a $139.00 bill plus a late charge of $ 20.00. My wife talked to one of the phone associates for over 25 minutes. Resulted in another phone number. I called and was told to call the cancelation department- they were closed. Associate # 2576 accepted the return on Register # 909 in Joliet, Illinois. Useless phone numbers: 1-800-827-6655 1-800-549-4505 1-888-246-3750 1-800-573-1088 1-800-203-9631 1-800-246-3756 BBB is next step if I don't get this charge removed from my Sears card. I won't be embarrassed by your lack of customer service in that store.

Sears - Poor online customer service

I bought toys for my grand kids sears online. My grand kids already have the toys. The products are in the original package they have not been opened. I have reached out to sears online customer service multiple times and all I get is a run around. I just want to get return labels, send the products back and be credit back to my sears card. Each time that I call online customer service they tell me they will have the merchant vendor contact me by email. I have called sears 10 times in the last month and I have not yet heard one word from anybody. If I don't hear back from sears in the next 72 hours I will be taking this to a higher level.

Sears - Cancelled order never cancelled.

I ordered 4 items online on December 22, 2016 order went through and the delivery date was changed from December 24, 2016 to December 28, 2016 I waited until the Customer Service Department was opened and called immediately to cancel the order was told that it was. Later that afternoon received an email saying that 2 of the items were ready for pickup at the store the charges had already been taken off for the 2 items so I picked them up and called back to Customer service to make sure the other 2 items were still being cancelled was told they were. The next morning I received an email saying the order was being processed called again waited on hold 42 minutes spoke to someone again was told it was cancelled and I would be refunded in 3-5 business day and I would receive an email of the cancellation didn't receive email for the cancellation instead received an email saying items was being shipped called again spoke to Customer service rep again then asked to speak to a supervisor who said it was taken care of and it would be cancelled. So today see where the money was taken out called back waited on hold 37 minutes to speak to someone finally speak and was disconnected did it again after waiting 28 minutes the second time today and the same thing happened. Every person I spoke to I was unable to understand what they were saying because of the language barrier. This has been the worst experience with resolving what should've been an easy fix. I would not ever recommend Sears to anyone and stopped shopping here before for this very same reason. Issue still not resolved after speaking to 7 people up until today December 31, 2016.
