Placed order, for first time, through Sears.com. Waited about a week with no reply on shipping information and checked online to the status of the order. Sears cancelled the order and did not refund the order or make any correspondence to it being cancelled. It seems the only way to contact Sears is through chat which is located out of the U.S. I discussed my situation with a representative for some time and apparently the situation was not very clear as they had to get information from a supervisor. My refund still has not posted so I contacted them again to check on the status. Same promise, it will be posted in 3-5 days...First and last time I ever order online with Sears!

The fact that you can't manage with out the sign is even worse. That sign is up fro people with no common sense and you must be one of those who needs constant supervision. People now do not realize that it is not affordable to have someone sitting at a customer service desk all day when they company is hurting.

Sears - Delivery fiasco

I get a text the day before my scheduled mattress delivery that delivery is still on between 12-2 the next day. I break down the old bed, haul it to another room, *** work for the afternoon. At 11:00 am I get a text saying the delivery has been reschedule for another week! I call customer service to find out what happened; mattress never came from manufacturer. Then why text me that my delivery was coming? After that phone call, I get another text saying that I requested to have my delivery delayed another week. What??! I'm furious and call India (I'm guessing); ask to speak to a manager. I wait 7 minutes and finally get "Sammy" who says she'll check into it, please hold. After 5 more minutes, she hangs up on me. No call back (they have my number on the order). I call again and speak to some poor stiff in India who can't answer my question, where the *** am I supposed to sleep? I understand that sometimes things don't go as planned, but why text me that the delivery is still on when you don't even have the items? Sears doesn't give a *** about me as a customer - if you screw up, make it right, don't hide.

I ordered a present for Xmas and sears said it was delivered and it never was. They told me I would have to track down the package because it was a third party seller. They kept telling me to check my porch. But a refund and no real customer service was ever offered. Do not shop there!

Sears - Horrible installation service for kitchen appliances

Details
I made the mistake of purchasing a refrigerator, a range top, a dishwasher, and a double oven. They delivered a broken refrigerator and had to bring another one on another day and then the installer could not hook up the water line to the ice maker so I had to do that. Then the range was delivered on a different day and they were 2 hours late. Now after taking yet another day off to have the oven installed they are coming 2 hours late so I wasted a day off for nothing. Nobody at Sears will take any responsibility for anything and nobody can give answers on anything. I've never encountered such a collection of useless *** in my life. I have shopped at sears for over 30 years. I will never purchase another thing from them as long as I live. I can see why they are going out of business.
