Dont buy from Sears. Worst Experience Ever!!!

I had my appliances delivered on 10/8/2016.  The wrong dryer came and the delivery guys called the delivery department. They said to return the dryer that was on the truck and the gas one would be delivered the following week.  No one ever called within 48 hours to schedule the delivery.  I called again and they had no idea what i was talking about.  Explained the whole story and again 48 hours and no call.  I called again to the overseas phillipinie call center and same story. No idea what i was tlking about or record of any delivery.  Went through the same problem in weeks 3. It never showed up and I tried to call to reschedule but the horrific philline call center has no idea.  I got a cal from Bernadet on the Nov 21st to find out the order was cancelled, no one called to tell me this.  I was waiting for delivery still.  After this they said they would refund me the money and i would have to buy another dryer within 5 to 7 days.  Now it is 11/7 and no refund and no dryer. I called Bernadet and she said she needs 48 more hours to get an answer.  I have a family of 5 and can't do my laundry and still no answers on delivery.  I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SEARS AGAIN AFTER 3 GENERATIONS OF MY FAMILY BEING LOYAL CUSTOMERS TO SEARS!!!   ITS A SAD DAY FOR AN AMERICAN COMPANY THAT I LOVED!   ​CHRIS

I purchased a tea kettle as a gift for a friend he open it after the 30 days was up an realized that it was broken. i asked for at least a even exchange an was told by the store an the customer service when i called the same story about the 30 day policy i feel this is unfair an unjust i have purchased many products from Sears as well as Kmart i feel they should given me at least an exchange. I am very disappointed in your company an will no longer be making any purchase if this is not resolved.

Sears- I ordered a stove, washing machine, Christmas tree and garland for my daughter in Kennewick, WA online yesterday using my Sears card. This morning I get an e-mail that the order is on hold pending verification. Ok no problem I appreciate them being cautious. I call the number and they ask the usual questions but then they start asking me all kinds of really personal questions like how long I have been married and detailed information about my husband who isn't even on the account. At this point I asked if this was Sears I was speaking to and I would not answer any further questions until I could verify who I was speaking with. I call Sears main number and after going through one person who could barely speak English I finally got a supervisor who would not verify the other number I called. At this point I am upset did I just give out my personal information to someone other than Sears. Finally this guys confirms that the original number I called was from Sears and if I wanted my order I had to call them back. He asked me twice if I want to cancell the order and I told him if I decided to do that I would go online and cancell it myself that I was considering going to another store but never did I tell him to cancell it. I called back the original number and got a really nice lady who was very helpful but guess what - The *** cancelled all of the orders. I have mostly Kennmore appliances in my home but I am in the process of a remodel so there will not be any Sears appliances when I am done. For a store in such financial distress I can understand why; you run off your customers with all your bull and foreigner call center. Good By Sears

The worst ever! I had a broken dryer and called to schedule an appointment and they kept me hanging for several days (always with a different excuse) and they quoted me one price and then they wanted to charge me twice just to take a look at an appliance! I will never ever call them again and I'm not recommend them at all. I called them every day several times and reps were not knowledgeable, supervisors very nasty and mistreating customers rather that solving the problem (I had a very minor issue with a broken dryer that needed repair) and no one was able to send a technician for a week. Please don't call them you better off buying a new appliance or call your local technician.

Sears in Tallahassee, Florida - Seven weeks for delivery

Went to the Tallahassee store twice, 60 mile RT, to replace a warranted Craftsman pruner. Out of stock. Store clerk said "just order it on line and we'll replace it when it comes in." Fine so far. Ordered it 13 Oct, got a confirmation email that said it would be avail for pickup 2 DEC. So they charged my card on 13 Oct. Not too happy about a 7 week delivery of a standard Craftsman item; they have a lot to learn about online orders and delivery to the store. I'm a pissed consumer and won't be buying anything from Sears. If this is an indication of their standard service, it's no wonder they're struggling to survive.

Sears - Kenmore Vacuum Cleaner Review from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Our church recently purchased a new Sears canister vacuum cleaner . we have had several in the past which have served us well. We ordered a 700 series Elite and I am here to tell you that I am so disappointed in the wand design there are no words to describe it. The end of the wand is chunkyand it is clunky, and unwieldy, the neck is way too supple when you try to reconnect it unless it's in the upright locked position, it flops around when u try to reconnect tge wand tobtge carpet head and it wont stay in a straight line when you push it. It drives itself if you set it too low like a walk-behind lawn mower, and the tools inside are the cheapest plastic I've ever seen . the light on the wand is so close to the floor that you only get a 4-inch puddle of Illumination and it doesn't really work at all with the carpet head cleaner on it. I don't know what was wrong with the whispertone 200 series quick connect if you would have added a light and a telescoping feature to that it would have been perfect but you guys always have to ruin everything trying to reinvent what works . Finally, that floppy little bare floor attachment with the spring loaded head is the biggest pain in the you-know-what I have ever dealt with not to mention it's very hard to get back into the onboard tool caddy. please don't repeat this design. I would send it back for a refund except that I don't see that any of your older models that have the type of wands I like are available. Signed annoyed Church cleaning lady

Sears in Bourbonnais, Illinois - Very concerned assosiate, 25 years of service.

i'll probably get fired from my position, however this is the truth. from 11/01/2016, thru 11/03/2016, because of the new 30 day return policy and lost receipt, I've lost 3 members and their family and friends. merchandise to return was still current items. cost of these items was well over $300.00 dollars. members walked out irate. one threw the items, one was under the impression the policy was 60 days,the other swore and vowed she would never shop sears again. we who are behind the counters are frustrated and actually take abuse. this comment is true and accurate and I've loved sears for years. I pray that the corporate bureaucracy wakes up. I can also comment on many other problems that are killing sales.

Are those people illterate? If so, I understand their inability to read the receipt, which - if it's like any other receipt ever - states the return policy.

Also, no return policy ever is going to stop a loser from being a loser. No person with class or dignity is going to throw an item that is "well over" $300. What purpose, at all, would that serve.

Sidenote, what is "well over" $300? Seems like a very odd amount to choose.

I HAVE SHOPPED AT SEARS FOR YEARS AND WORKED THERE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY MANAGERS AND LEADS IS HORRIBLE. I ALWAYS TRY TO GO THE EXTRA MILE FOR THE CUSTOMERS WHO ASKED FOE HELP BUT IT SEEMS IM JUST ONE IN A MILLION THESE DAYS. I HAVE GOTTEN SO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT NASTY BATHROOMS, RUDE MANAGERS, AND CLOSED REGISTER COUNTERS. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS OUTDATED SALE SIGNS, THE WRONG PLACEMENT OF SALE SIGNS. THIS REALLY CONFUSES AND AND ANGERS THE CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY THINK THEY ARE GETTING A GOOD BARGIN BUT EITHER THE SALE SIGN WAS PUT IN THE WRONG SPOT OR IT WAS OUTDATED, WHICH IS CALLED FALSE ADVERTISING. CUSTOMERS CONSTANTLY ASK THE BIG QUESTION..." IS SEARS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS"? PLEASE PUT SEARS OUT IF IT'S MISERY AND CLOSE THE DOORS!!!!

Sears delivered the wrong TV to my house--a refurbished one at that which I never ordered and never even accepted as it said refurbished on the carton. A manager said I would get a refund and would get a $30 gift certificate.

After talking to five different customer sales people and managers over two years--they all lied to me and I never got my money back. I was a Sears customer for for over 40 years and no one cared. They all just told me it would be solved, and they all lied to me.

they are a horrible company and I am so glad they are in bankruptcy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Delivery times mean nothing. This is not the good old dependable store of yesteryear. Lets see if they come thru tomorrow. We could have had numerous other Washer and Dryers installed by other companies by now. They don't even have to install it. I told them I would pick up and install. Customer service are robots and reading from cue cards. Its too bad. Another company which used to have a good reputation, ruined by poor management. What a joke.
