We purchased a new Kenmore Elite French Door Refrigerator (model #795.72483.411) through SEARS 2 years ago June, 2016. The fridge experienced inadequate cooling and were told the sealants are bad. Minimum $1000 plus service repair bringing the cost to almost $2000! AND no guarantee that it will not happen again--possibility that it will!!!
How can a 2 year old product malfunction, actually the main component of a product--I mean the main purpose of the fridge is to cool.
This is ridiculous and made more ridiculous that the cost to repair exceeds the cost of buying a new replacement. We are now without a fridge for almost 3 weeks due to the poor product which you sell. No one at Sears cares, there is no mention of compensation because as usual, the warranty does not cover this component--even though it is an extremely important component of the product!
I am extremely disappointed that Sears will not and does not stand behind its products; as well as, you do not provide speedy, emergency refrigerator repair/diagnostics despite that is exactly what you advertise on your website--including assistance to replace. None of this occurred nor offered. A 2 year old fridge should not break down. A 2 year old fridge should not need to be replaced. A 2 year old fridge should not need a major component fixed/replaced. A 2 year old fridge should not cause your customer to be without a fridge for over 3 weeks.
Your company has completely failed both in product and customer service. To say I am disappointed is an understatement...utterly disgusted by Sears and its lack of customer service in helping solve this problem with my 2 year old Fridge.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
