Sears - Bad delivery

I bought a Kenmore fridge, I love Kenmore products. The men who delivered it was very poor. They popped my swimming pool damaged the handle on the fridge and damaged my deck. I was reimbursed for some of the damages. The delivery guys had no idea where the filters went so I didnt get one now I have to buy it. I called to have my warranty check up on my fridge and they sent someone to replace my ice maker? where they got that I dont Know. So the gentleman opened the fridge and looked at the settings and called it good. What? I purchased the extended warranty too. Sears used to be a high quality place to buy appliances but the quality of service lacks terribly.

Sears Master Card

My Sears store card was converted to a Sears Mastercard without prior permission from me or proper notification. The issue is that they also without my permission sent a Mastercard to my son that was linked to my Sears card and ss#. At one time I had asked Sears to allow him to charge an auto repair, his car broke down on his way back to school. At that time I told them I didn't want them to send him a card with his name. I found $2900 in charges on my statement and when I called them they told me they had sent a card to my son and he made the charges. I called him and he said because it was a Mastercard he didn't even think it was linked to me or my Sears card. Sears told me to file a fraud claim; my son didn't commit fraud, he thought the card was his, after all they sent it to him. I didn't commit fraud because I never asked for the MasterCard in the first place. The only fraud is with Sears deceptive practices. All I want is a credit for the $2900 that was put on my card. My son can't afford to pay it all at once and I certainly can't. Oh, btw their interest rate is 25%. Please help

Ha! Purchased a washer and dryer and was promised delivery on the 18th. On the 18th, got a call letting me know that 1) the delivery drivers do not read road signs and 2) the delivery had to be delayed as a result. Delivery promised on the 20th. On the 20th, got a call saying they put it on the wrong truck. Promised on the 23rd. Not sure they understand why I am irritated. This is two days I have changed my plans on the basis of their promises. Two days of lost opportunity. When things like this happen, it causes harm to the consumer, which the larger corporations ignore because there is little or nothing 99% of all people can or will do about it.

Sears repair service agreements sucks

I have bought sears products since 1987 (spent over $200.00) and have always purchased their protection agreements. Over the past 5 years it has taken Sears at least a month to repair something. This time I called about my dish washer. The appoint was for one month out. I told them it was the pump. Sears showed up and said it was the pump and they would have to order the part and would be back in about a month (making it 2 months). Sears came back today and said the one part did not come and it would be around 2-3 weeks before he could come back to be sure the part arrived. At this point my dish washer is full of fuzzy black mold and other things since it has been setting for over 2 months waiting on Sears to fix it. We have now decided to see how we will do with Lowes

Ruined my cars ac and since 10/15 it's been a nightmare.. now dealing with Samuel Sandilvar from Sedgewick Claims Management and they are equally a nightmare plus! All I want is my car fixed ! Had to lease a vehicle, my husband died and no one cares! My car has been in shop for 2 months Sam Sandilvar just drags and drags things out.. ignores me ignores what the issues are... he ok'd something and has yet to pay and still not fixed. I'm going to have a breakdown .. can't even mourn my husband with this stress factor going on!! Going to go on TV if necessary.. also did I mention the hypodermic needle I found in my car after Sears ruined it!

After further back and forth, Sears finally gave me the straight scoop to say that they do not compensate for lost time. So delivery screw ups by either Sears or the delivery company are the customers fault and you will receive no sympathy from Sears.

Following this I had no choice but to drop the dispute and pay the charge.

Sears cancelled the delivery date for a new dryer three times and successfully delivered on the fourth. For each delivery date I received confirmation the day before delivery (or sooner). After the first cancellation I called the delivery company the day/night before and verified the dryer would be delivered the following day. For two of the scheduled delivery days they called to cancel. For one of them they just didnt show up and I had to call. The nature of my dissatisfaction is that I had to stay home from work (1/2 days) all four times. (The dryer works fine and is not part of my issue.) I then disputed the charge with Sears (lost time at work). Twice. The first time I received a form letter informing me my dispute was rejected because the dryer was delivered and in my possession. I told them that they missed the point and they are welcome to come and take back the dryer. No response, so I re disputed. The second time I was rejected because "we have no recourse available to recover the funds", whatever that means. I will now elevate this dispute. Regardless, this has been a horrible customer service experience and I am through with Sears. Been a long time customer for appliances, but there are other options.

Either take back the dryer or compensate for time lost. Dont make your inability to fullfill delivery dates the customer's problem.

Ordered Electric stove and dish washer, dish washer came and was wrong color, stove comes without electric wire. The woman we dealt with on the phone was hard to understand and we were not sure if she understood our problem? I had to go back to sears and purchase an El cord for $32, unreal stove comes without cord! When we had a Plumber come to install dish washer we discovered the wrong color then. So now I have to pay the Plumber an extra service charge to come back. We had to reorder dish washer and were told they would contact us within 24 to 48 hrs, that did not happen. We called again and got the same statement they would contact us within 24 to 48 hrs, well its been over 48 hrs and still waiting, no dishwasher? I won't be buying appliances from Sears again, your service really really sucks!

Go to home depot and see if they include the power chord..No one does anymore. Most homes have different plugs, so why would Sears be psycic and know what the *** you need ?
