Ty Parkside Patio furniture cusions.

We bought a patio set jut over a year ago. The fabric that is used is defective. It disintegrated just over an years time when the warrantee expires. No recourse but to buy a new one. NOT from SEARS of course. Otherwise it will be the same issue. I met the operations manager, Natassia Gaul (702) 259 ****, in Las Vegas at Meadows Mall store. Her response was to deal with the manufacturer. I would like to warn consumer about this defect and encourage NOT TO BUY ANT PATIO FURNITURE from SEARS. Return policy sucks

I tried to return 4 t shirts that i bought from sears a couple of days after the 30 days were up. I did not know they had this sucky 30 day policy when i bought the shirts.

I did not try tnem on because i have bought these same shirts before and knew (or thought) they would fit. They did not. They were made smaller than before. I toom them to the store with tags and receipt.

When the cashier told me i couldnt get a refund, i asked to exchange for a bigger size. She said ok. Then when she tried, she said they could only give me $2.99 for each shirt. I paid almost 3 times that much just 33 days ago!!!

So, i left with my shirts that are too small. Guess i will have to use a stretcher to stretch them out. I will never set foot in sears again!!!!!!!

Plus, i had to search everywhere for the cashier in the first place. This place sucks and i hope they go out of business.

The reason that your shirts didn't fit is because Sears has outsourced it's supply of shirts from the Philippines where the men are alot smaller over there.

So, because you're too lazy to MAKE SURE YOUR CLOTHES FIT you blame the store? You had 30 days, your receipt said 30 days, the signs in the store say 30 days.

You are not some special case who gets what you want just because you think you deserve special treatment. No, 30 days is 30 days. It does not mean 31 days, 33 days, 35 days, it means 30 days. No more than 30.

Can that be put any clearer to all you people who feel so entitled that you don't think policies apply to you "just because it's a few days". Well, guess what, try telling that to the people you pay your taxes to. You think they would let your late fee slide?

Or your credit card company? Nope

I ordered a refrigerator by phone. The Rep. and I itemized to ea. other the correct product numbers. When I recvd. email confirmation, it wasn't at all what I ordered. I told them not to cancel but to switch the product numbers and ship my refrigerator. They said they'll pass it along to manager. So long story short, I told them either way do NOT CANCEL. order until I speak with mngr. she was worst than the all the others I had to deal with. She called me the next day to say She canceled it. Instead of making an easy fix. They all were very rude, callus and cruel. Said my money won't be refunded for a week which is unacceptable. They still didn't care. So I had to call them back again to replace $sooner. They did not budge. So my money is floating around and I have no refrigerator being shipped they didn't even try to work with me. It's been years since I shopped with sears/Kmart because of all the problems they cause. I gave them a second chance and they blew it. I told them I'm done I will absolutely not go back. PERIOD. The story doesn't stop there it got worse. But I'm sure a lot of you consumers already know the rest of the pathetic story. Menards is far better. I'll continue my business there. Good luck to fellow consumers. Sears and Kmart are failing bc of the problems. I can't wait till they close down for good.

Poor customer service and warehouse management

Purchased a NordicTrack C 1270 Pro Treadmill at Sears store in Memphis, TN on 16 July, 2017 for dilivery on 29 July. On 29 July the driver called stating that it looked as though the Treadmill had been dropped and that it looked like it was damaged. He also stated that the box had been torn open and poorly taped back together. I refused to take delivery and when Customer Service called I explained all of this to them. They apologized for the inconvenience and rescheduled the delivery for 8 August, 2017. On 8 August the delivery men arrived with a Treadmill in a box as described by the driver 2 weeks earlier. When the box was opend there was mud inside and the Treadmill was clearly damaged. After the driver photgraphed the damage they closed the box and took it away. This was clearly a total lack of proper communications between departments and complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Improper supervision and lackadaisical attitude by employees in the warehouse allowed an obviously damaged product to be placed on the truck not once but twice for delivery. The order has been canceld and I will find another source. And they still pay those people, unbeilevable.

Sears ignores their own delivery window!

Bought a new dryer on Sunday at Sears in Elk Grove, CA. Told them I had doctor appointment in the AM the next day so delivery had to be noon or later. Told me NO PROBLEM. While at the doctor @ 8:00 next day morning, received call the delivery truck was outside home trying to deliver! Told them I wouldn't be home until noon like I already said the day before. They said they would try to deliver in the evening (after 6:00) but they will call to confirm either way. NEVER received a call. Next day (Tuesday, i.e. TODAY) received call they won't be able to deliver until Wednesday (i.e. TOMORROW) ! When I threatened to just cancel transaction altogether, they LAUGHED and said it could take up to a MONTH or LONGER to get refund! Since $ was from my checking acct and other bills are almost due, cannot risk spending hundreds more to buy another dryer and have enough money for bills to! Oh, and had a really hard time understanding Customer Service accents over the phone from India. Too bad I don't speak Punjabi.

Extended warranty repair load of ***

On July 24th 2017 I called the warranty department to schedule a repair for my washing machine has nine Cycles only one is operating the associate that I spoke to treated me like a complete *** who has never used a washing machine before I've had this machine for 13 years anytime I've had an issue I've called and a tech has come out to my home to handle the situation this time an appointment was scheduled for today July 25th between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. no one showed up so I called to find out why I spent an hour-and-a-half on the phone being shuffled from one person to another was never connected to a supervisor was informed that the *** that took my call on Monday put it down as a maintenance call not a repair now they have to cancel the maintenance call and reschedule a repair call and they will get back to me or might get back to me within 24 to 48 hours to handle this because their departments are so busy that they can't take my call right now I have never had such *** poor service from Sears and all the years I've had my equipment I am extremely frustrated right now I have a washing machine that I cannot use and I don't know when or if a repair technician will show up and then the key or is it won't be a Sears blue crew repairment it will be a private contractor that they hired to come out so now what do I do this is absolutely unacceptable and I agree no wonder they're going out of business with this kind of Shawnee service

That is the direction they headed. The days are over when a good tech came out and repaired your appliance.

Sears products and service warranties

We purchased a kenmore refrigerator which actually is actually an LG in disguise. We also purchased an extended warranty. The refrigerator worked four months then stopped working. After 4 attempts to fix, we still cannot get a replacement unit, our is still not operational still don't have a working refrigerator. I want in on class action suit against SEARS

Cancelled order but credit card not credited

Placed an order with sears.com for a stove and refridgerator on 7/6/17 and was told delivery was over 3 weeks which is a long time to go w/o a stove and frig. Called local sears hometown appliance store and they said they could get the items in 2 days so I called sears.com on 7/7/17 to cancel order.

Had to speak to 3 different people before they were able to cancel the order. They credited my card only $11.58 out of $1,570.

Now my cc bill is due and if I don't pay sears.com for cancelled items , I will have to pay interest on my cc bill next month. What is so difficult about canceling an order?

Good luck I'm having the same issue. It's gonna be a month already and still no luck getting my money back. Like you thanks to them I will have to pay fees but they don't seem to care or have any remorse on how they screw people over..

If it's under 30 days old I would call and return the items you purchased and get a refund. Good luck getting your money back on your first order shop at lowes they will have it delivered in a day. Rochester NY

Avoid online layaway 's at sears.

I recently placed a layaway with sears and for some reason they just cancelef it. I was really confused beause I made all payments on time.

The time came to make my third payment I went online to make the payment and i saw were my layaway was canceled. I could not locate or talk to anyone online about this situation. I went into the store the next day. One of the sales association ask for my information and stated it was not showing.

I provided the layaway contract that i printed online when i first started the layaway. He called the manager that was in the store at that time he asked her what do they do about online layways. She stated to him to tell me that i will receive a check by mail in 3 weeks. Its been a year today never heard from anyone about this matter.

Times are already tough. What makes these people think we can just give them money. I will never do business with them as long as i live. They are a poor excuse for a business to rip customers out of their money.

I advise anyone dont do a layaway plan with them. No wonder some of their stores shut down.

Good for them . I hope they shut them all down.

My son bought me a 20 gallon air compressor, its defective cause the PRV keeps going off, drain it every time i use it and still goes off and have to push it in manually, still under warranty and now they tell me that i have to pay for the repairs, spent thousands of dollars on their tools and i get all this BS, never will i buy a *** tool from them again, *** tools and even crappier service

Do not shop at this Sears store. We purchased an artificial Christmas tree and had it shipped to a vacation house in a remote location.

The package that was delivered from Sears had already been opened and the tree had an electrical short and would not light up. It also had a broken branch. We just returned from our vacation house and brought the tree back to Sears in Everett. Andrew and Sinesh, the store managers, would not accept a return for a clearly defective item.

The total was $49.99. Andrew told me it made no difference that we had purchased thousands of dollars in appliances from them for a remodel over the last year. Andrew refused to refund our money and told me the defective tree will be in lost and found.

They most likely box it up and sell it again to someone else. This store has the worst customer service I've experienced from any retailer.

That is not the case. The person is obviously lying about the Christmas tree being broken and damaged. They most likely used it for Christmas, damaged it themselves before taking the picture and are trying to return the tree once Christmas was over since they no longer need it.

It was an already opened box shipped as new by Sears to a remote vacation house. We didn't open it until after Christmas.

It's ridiculous that this Sears store would not accept a return of a clearly defective item.

It's still there for 30 days in lost and found if you want it. :)

Horrible company

bought a treadmill, scheduled a delivery time for 5pm-7pm. Received 2 confirmations for that time by e-mail and text message. The morning of I received a phone call from the delivery company stating they will be at my house btwn 1 & 3. I immediately said no, I wont be home, I have a scheduled delivery at 5 -7. He said ok. That was at 9am. AT 2pm received another phone call from delivery guys saying they are at my house???!!! Really?? I told you I wouldn't be home!. My 14yr old son was home, so I decided they are already there, don't want to reschedule, let me just have them deliver it. So I allowed them to come in and was on face time with my son while they were there. 5 min later they tell me they are missing parts for the treadmill and will have to return it to the warehouse. At that point I had had enough so I got on the phone with customer service immediately and canceled my order. The lady who I could barely understand hung up on me because she could not comprehend what I was saying. So after numerous calls back to customer service they say they will refund me my money within 7-10 business days. We shall see how true that is. I am very upset with my experience with this company and their customer service. The address says Texas, but when you call you get someone in the Phillipines. They are terrible!!! Avoid at all costs. Really wish I read sears review before making my purchase.

Sears and SpectrumSales - A total ripoff

Sears advertises CARHARTT coats on their website. However, they are actually sold by SPECTRUM SALES. Spectrum had CARHARTT drop ship the wrong size to me and now want me to pay a 15% restocking fee due to their error. Total Ripoff. I am going to deal with CARHARTT direct. No wonder Sears is closing stores and is failing. Good riddance to bad rubbish. It's about time for SEARS to die. I am not out $ 110.29 which Sears is richer by. And I suspect that SPECTRUM SALES is a front for SEARS. Talk about the nerve And to be forced to enter 100 words to get this posted is another rip-off.
