Never Sears Ever Again

Similar experience as this person, only with refrigerator. One customer service agent said he could refund my money and remove the ice making hose and I said, "That would mean the ice maker would be completely worthless and a waste of money" and his response was, "yes it would, but you'd get $10.00 back." Nice customer service qualities. Then, I received confirmation that the deliver would arrive between 9 and 11. It never arrived. Apparently, there was some sort of hitch... with the ice maker. The *** customer service rep. probably had something to do with it. As the other no longer Sears customer's experience went, I was on the phone for over an hour and spoke with five agents and I also did an online chat after I spoke to the $10 ***. I was quoted the wrong price and charged more than the quote and that's when I was connected to the $10 ***. He kept saying he could go over the charges with me and I can see it with my own eyes, what I wanted to know was why was I told the wrong price. He never apologized. So, YES, I TOLD ON HIM WHEN I COULDN'T TAKE HIS *** ANY MORE. I had had enough and then it didn't end there. Sears just kept on going and going and going with their insults. NEVER EVER, EVER AGAIN! NEVER! I will pay a ton more than to deal with Sears again. NO THANK YOU! However, the delivery guy was nice. I was told he was a Sears employee, when in the past they were not. He told me he WAS NOT A SEARS EMPLOYEE! What do you believe? The fridge isn't as nice as the one taken away, there is no light in the freezer, it appears to be a refurbished model, but it works, but so did the one that was taken away. The only thing was the gaskets were coming completely off the freezer and the refrigerator and it was 18 years old. Thank GOD, that's over with, so far, but no one told me that it was used model and it had no light, I thought that was standard and lies about the employees, who knows what to believe, but one thing for sure, NEVER EVER, EVER, SEARS EVER AGAIN. Similar experience as this poor customer: "Just got off the phone with Sears Home Delivery.Total of an hour and a half of my wasted time, spoke with 9, yes, NINE customer service representatives: Alex (male), Ishbell, Kimberly, Colleen, Alex (female), Danny, Jessie, and Deborah (the most helpful as she was the last). NEVER got in touch with a supervisor although I asked six agents to connect me. Got disconnected TWICE. All I am trying to do is understand why a patio set I purchased on June 6th, to be delivered on June 18th, has not been delivered yet!!! Then Deborah tells me it is out of stock. NEVER was told that by Sears. TERRIBLE. Will NEVER order from them again. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Not worth the aggravation."

Just when you think it could not get worse, it does. They called to deliver the conversion kit at 10:00 Saturday night which I said was too late.

I asked to send it with the dryer when the installer picked it up Monday morning. I was told that was no problem. All along I told them that Monday at1:00 was th deadline for delivering and installing everything and that without the dryer I would not take the washer.

Instead of course they carted away my working washer, installed the new one and now called me to delay the delivery of the dryer and conversion kit. I told them all along I would not permit them so now I have cancelled all orders after days of lies and aggravation and they will have to locate and reinstall my old washer since I refuse to pay for any of their problems .

I needed to replace a dryer and thought Kenmore would be reliable. Sears promised me two day delivery and installation. When I discovered through the installer that I needed a gas conversion kit,which I had not been told,I had to cancel the delivery. I proceeded to spend 2.5 hours on the phone to the installation and delivery dept. which is located in The Phillipines . They convinced me to try again and write another order . They promised everything would be delivered the same day. Of course that never happened. I explained I did not really need a washer and would cancel it if the dryer with the conversion kit were not delivered that day as well. Of course that never happened. They said the washer would come with the conversion kit. Of course that never happened. They installed the washer and still no dryer and no conversion kit. In between I probably spent at least ten hours talking to people in the Phillipines who have no connection to anything that happens in this country. They basically are phone babysitters, trying to put out fires for the all the gross incompetence of the company. The trucker said he would go back and deliver the conversion kit tonight. Of course that never happened. The only people who were honest and attempting to help were the installers and they do not work for Sears. They at least told me what I need. I am now waiting for the callback from a manager in the Phillipines who said he would call in an hour. That was hours ago. It is very sad what happened to this company that used to be a respected American business.Now it is a mockery. If you just want to waste hours venting anger then try Sears. If you want to buy appliances try any other place.

Sears in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Air Conditioning Replacement - Project Consultant Wrong

We needed a new air conditioning unit. the "project consultant"aka... salesman came out to do his pretty power point presentation and spent 2 hours at our home, promised installation for Saturday of the same week. They sure did show up and left 10 minutes later because the specifications were incorrect. So in the dead of summer and 90 degree weather, here we sit with no air conditioning and sears of course is not wrong. it is the previous installation and duct work. What is the point of coming out, spending hours at our home, doing measurements and not taking the duct work into consideration if that is part of the key element for the work???????

Sears Refrigerator Repair Review

Aweful business practice. Waited for a service tech to come fix my fridge. Waited 3 days for appointment and nobody showed. Wasted 8 hours, was told 4 times that somebody was still coming. The best they could do is reschedule in 3 more days. No thank you, will never purchase products or warranties from sears again, and i planned on buying a Kenmore elite from sears for our new house.

had an appointment yesterday i waited till 5 pm no body! i call and they say the system has crashed and no one is coming, really?!!! so i call to get another appointment and im put on hold for twenty minutes and they pick up and hang up, im beyond pissed and will never ever shop at sears again i will tell people how awful you are your service is despicable, im a hard working business owner and would never treat people the way you have these past two days. i cant even make an appointment on line because there is no option for a water softener. oh and the chat does not work either

I am having the same problem. Only my repair person came out on August 18 and stayed for 3 hours staring at his device hoping for the system to come back online.

I had waited for this appointment for more than two weeks and it took me more than 6 hours of fighting with Sear's "customer service" to even get the right guy out... he called me again on the 19th and told me that the system was still down and that I was going to have to schedule a new appointment on my own. I asked him if he remembered that it took me hours of emotional *** from the sears representatives before I could even get the appointment on the 18th.... he apologized but this morning I have started the run around again with Sear's belligerent employees.

Shoot me. Just shoot me.

Sears can't get it straight - think you are saving $ - don't!!!

Can't begin to go through all the confusion they caused! Won't deal with them again! Got the billing & rewards wrong - said we couldn't get rewards until range was delivered - now going to charge everything we got with points to deliver other item. They are so confused with their offers - even the sales guy said he couldn't keep it straight. Poor poor customer service& management . I need to do. 100 words - but that's the basic facts - they screwed up & didn't compensation for it! Bla bla bla they billed the wrong account - don't know the difference between credit card & rewards - but they just put it where they want & it is all wrong. I have never so much inefficiency in one purchase in my life. I'm 68 & can't move refrigerators on my own - you would think they would compensate for their errors! But no - sorry we screwed up .....too bad.

I called to get a quote on my roof. They quoted me $11,000 for a new roof that the insurance company quoted me $4,000 for. They said I could finance and that I couldn't go a anything cheaper anywhere else. Guess what? They were wrong. Don't overpay if you don't have to.

Sears in Blanchester, Ohio - Defective lawn mower

Bought a new lawn mower from Sears. Took it home, removed it from the box and assembled it. Would NOT start. Disassembled it, put it back in the box and returned it to Sears the same day. An employee verified that it would not start. They gave me a replacement. Took it home and went through the same process. The 2nd one also wouldn't start. AGAIN, took it back and got number 3. This one started so I cut my grass. One week later, the 3rd one wouldn't start. I am now 3 days past the 30 day return period and they told me that I would have to take it to the other side of the city, drop it off at their repair facility, go home then return when they get around to repairing it. So far, I have well over 20 hours and over 50 miles invested in picking up and dropping off defective mowers from Sears. When I purchased the 1st mower, the clerk badgered me into getting a Sears credit card. I just cut the credit card into pieces. I will NEVER shop at Sears again. Sears has deteriorated into Walmart service with Saks Fifth Avenue prices. They SUCK.

Sears The Worst Customer Service

I am a new home owner and I wanted to buy a washer and dryer from a company that would help take care of me if needed. I spent over $2500 on a Kenmore washer and dryer about 7 months ago. The washer machine has broken 3 times since then. The computer board just stopped working. So on 08/11/2016 I called Sears to set up an app. to fix it. They didn't have any open time on Friday or Saturday which i understood. So they made an app. on Monday for 8 am to Noon. I took a day off work just for this. I get an email at 12:01 saying they have changed my app. to 08/16/2016 from 1 pm to 5 pm. So i have to take another day off work. I called several times to explain my disgust and disappointment. The customer service was very rude and didn't care at all. So on 08/16/2016 around 4:45 pm they still have not shown up. I call and they changed my app. again without tell me from 4:30 to 6:30. Well that just was not ok with me. I had a meeting i had to go to. So while on the phone i tried for over 20 min to tell them i need help on this today. I cant be without a washer for 6 days. All they said was well you are gonna have to wait. So finally around 5:30 the Tech shows up. The nicest guy ever. After about 2 min he tells me the issue and starts looking at parts. It is going to cost $1,300 to fix this machine. It would only cost $1,100 to replace. The parts wont be here until 08/27/2016 and then i can make an app when they have time. This is unacceptable. I will never buy any thing from Sears again. I will make sure to tell everyone i know the same thing. Sears Customer Service is terrible. If you actually read this just know the service is horrible and not worth buying.
