Sears - New Kenmore Refrigerator Delivered Defective
Purchased a new refrigerator and had it delivered. The delivery person noticed right off that the interior lights in freezer and refrigerator did not come on. He called and scheduled a repair tech to come between 8 and 5. No show. Called at 7:30 pm to say he wasn't coming. Sears tried to reschedule again for between 8 and 5 but I said no, before 12 or nothing. Called customer service located in Philippines which has no power to do anything but give lip service. Called Sears corporate office and talked to Riley got no where. Called the store I bought if from in Commerce Georgia and phone says "mailbox full, we are unable to take your call!" Gave this number to Corporate for them to call and they said "yep" that's what I got! Sears says they don't build them but it is just their brand "Kenmore" on them and only warranty for 1 year! Mine was DELIVERED defective! I asked for extended warranty from Sears because I obviously got a bad one and they said it would be $499 for 5 year extended! Sears has no confidence in their own product because they know they are building ***! Do not buy from SEARS unless you want to miss several days of work waiting for a tech to call or even show up! Horrible experience and $1200.00 wasted!

Kenmore Oven Review

We naught 2 ovens from Sears for our church. We can't use them the racks fall down. Apparently their has been many complaints about this. We've asked Sears what we can do. A Sears tech came out to service them. There's nothing we can do. He said the inside of the oven expands and decreases with the heat. Wish we were notified of this before the warranty ran out.

Immediately dispute the charge with your card company as merchandise not delivered. No reason to pay for something you never got nor have any reason to believe ever will.

Yes, Sears is the very last place to go for much of anything nowadays.

The Sears, Roebuck & Co. we grew up with is gone.

I made a appt with a tech to repair my dishwasher the appt window was from 10am-12pm I called customer service which gave me a different time they originally said to confirm time it's now after 1:pm tech still not here if tech is late a good idea is to let the customer know so we can salvage some our day without spending most of the day just waiting on the tech to appear after the time he was to arrive and the coustmer service reps. Should get their stories straight when I called to see what's going on I get a different answer all the time hopefully he will arrive soon.

Placed an order, paid and money was debited from my bank account. Received confirmation and delivery date with promise of phone call night before scheduled delivery. No phone call. Called four different "Customer Service" numbers and finally learned that a hold had been placed on the order, but no reason was found. No idea when the issue would be resolved, but I should still call yet another number????? After two additional phone calls, the order was cancelled, I think. Money has not been credited yet to my bank account. Any wonder Sears is dying? Lost me for good.

I had a receipt and Sears would not take items back that were never worn with the tags in place. They said it was past 30 days. I had the receipt and it had been 40 days from purchase. I am also a long time Sears shopper and I will never purchase again from them!!!

They only say what you want to hear! I purchase my first Fridigaire Gallery 7/15. Called on had it replaced do several loud noises. So the second on was delivered, and so the nightmare begins. After receiving the 2nd fridg. the freeze size was warp would not hold shelf or basket. Water dispenser and ice maker would dispenser would come on without anyone there. So, after fighting with them almost 10 mos they finally got someone who knew how to complete there job. But, the story hasn't ended the delivery company they chose was another nightmare, it took them almost a month and 1/2, with the 1st deliverly of the item being a dented and mared refg. The 2nd delivery appiontment date was a call to let me know that they be at my home is 10 min but that the refg., was stratched and missing the bottom vent. The 3rd delivery was took the longest I had to call to fine out what was going on with the refg.There response "OH! it's here what date would you like it delivered" They delivered it but would not take the front door off hinges or connect or set up refig. even thou they had instruction to due so! 3rd freezer is a ICE FOLLIEI have to defrost it once a week or I cannot get to any of my food items, as they are ingulf in ice. I have been told that they are replacing it and that a company will be calling me that has been 3 weeks. Now the ice maker is making a loud noise I have to shut it off. So no water or ice maker. Just great!!! I have ask for my money back or upgrade at there expense, but do u think they care heck know. I'm going on my 4th darn refrig you think they would get the message. I know I have! As has many of my co-workers, family, friends, and whoever I can pass this sad product and not to mention the company that says they stand behind they product. the only thing they stand behind is there bank accounts!

Delivery was scheduled 2:30 to 4:30 after waiting 2 hours for them to arrive @ 4:35 I called delivery customer service telling them the delivery still hadn't arrived nor did I get a phone call stating it had been delayed. Of course, customer said they were sorry for the delay & I would be getting an email where I could express my concerns (NO EMAIL LINK HAS ARRIVED). After they finally arrived they were in such a hurry they damaged the corner of the wall removing the paint & sheet rock. After they left I walked into my room only to find they left small packing items etc. all over my room. Didn't realize I would have to cleanup after delivery my self. DON'T PLAN TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SEARS AGAIN!!!! No wonder no one shops there & they are having to close stores.

Sears is horrible!

We have a gas dryer needing a coil, they came out to diagnose, ordered the part, part never came, wonder if they even ordered it, but this part was on another sears truck they just didn't bother to get it from another truck. We had been on their schedule for service for a week and then suddenly they weren't coming. The lady I spoke with was rude and arrogant, worst customer service experience. She was arrogant, rude and basically could have cared less, that's the problem with Sears...no service mentality, these people are incompetent, needing basic education is asking too much apparently. Never shopping at that store again, there are other more deserving stores where we will spend our money.
