When ordered first compressor for 8 yr. old LG frig, was told it would arrive in 2-3 days and that they would set up install appt.

Compressor took 14 days to get here and when it did, the factory service rep for Sears said that it was unusable due to being shipped upside down with holes in interior box and dents in the compressor. Sent it back with photos Ridiculous for it to take 22 days to fix a frig! I would NEVER have ordered the compressor from Sears if the woman on the phone had been truthful when I questioned her about coordinating shipping time and appt. times for service techs.

She said that the part would be here in time and it wasn't. My frig went out on Dec. 21 and it will be Jan. 12 before I HOPE it may finally be fixed.

Sears has just closed 100 stores.. probably due to their poor customer service, poor communications and outright lying to customers.
