Sears Lawn Mower Replacement Review from Saint Paul, Minnesota

Bought a new Craftsman 42" riding mower on 6/13/2016. With 22 HP motor mower developed a short . In electric blade Clutch and blades not working . On 6/11/2016 part back ordered till 7/11/16. On 7/11/16 Sears called said part still on back order. Till 7/29/16 part never came . Sears agreed to replace riding mower. On 7/30/16 new mower arrived on 8/2/16. To my dismay I noticed the mower. Was the same 42" cut but it had a 20 hoarse power motor. I called the Sears hometown store and was told that's what Sears authorized as replacement under warranty. I don't know how most people feel about a warranty replacement . But what I expected was a mower with same size motor and mower deck. Called Sears and was informed that was the mower I was supposed to get. There reasoning is the mower I bought was with the same engine is not available in 2016. But this was not mentioned during replacement process. The original mower I purchased cost 1999.00 with tax 2164.99 The replacement mower cost 1699.99 about a 300 dollar difference witch Sears has told me I do not get the difference.i feel I have gotten a raw deal and only expect. That witch I paid for not something that not same. Cost Hundreds less and I'm not entitled to any money back. Sears is picking and choosing how it wants to honor its warranty's. If I pay for a product from any retail business. And it had to be replaced at no fault of mine. I expect simply a same same replacement. Or an explanation as to the unavailability. And an offer of a Refund nothing less. I have never had a similar problem with any other retailer. Replacing any product but Sears. I do not feel that a Smaller Cheaper Riding Mower. Is honoring the Manufacturers warranty. Unless your in Sears as far as Sears goes. I'm done I have bought mowers from Sears 25 years. I'm also an AC contractor and I have frequented Sears for Tools Tires ETC. But I have bought my last product from Sears. And I am not done with Sears. I'll be filing a complaint with the State. Due to Sears dictating how a warranty replacement works. I know how it should be handled. But apparently Sears does not feels the warranty is at their discretion. And there is only Sears Satusfaction in mind!

I got my refrigerator deliver to my house but the handler is broken. They tell me is easy to go to the store to get exchanges . The processor is very easy so they don't have to take the whole refrigerator back . I ment that is resonnably so I got my receiver go to the store to get my new handler they sent me to diffrent store to get the handler.. I think this is NOT my JOB poor poor poor poor bad bad bad bad bad no good no good sad coustomer never buy noting no more at Sear no no NO NO NO NO I need my money back

Extremely unprofessional, poor customer service, refuses to take responsibility for their problems. Has failed to issue $700+ refund with multiple excuses for more than 31days with no resolution in forseeable future. Managers lie to cover for themselves, and customer service placates and deflects without trying to help.

They are quick to take your money but good luck getting a refund even when you follow their rules. Sears is extremely unprofessional, deflecting at all costs, and customer unfriendly. Managers of local stores blatently lie, fail to return phone calls, and have caused me to lose all faith in the corporation. I only *** that they don't file for bankruptcy before I resolve my litigation in civil court.

I purchased an adjustable bed frame online. Upon delivery I realized it was not the size I needed. The following day I called customer service to try to return it and was told there is a no return policy on adjustable bed frames. I was unaware of this policy as I've always seen 30 day returns but was told this item doesn't fit that policy and was read the online terms//conditions. I have spoken to several customer service reps and no one is able to issue a return on this BRAND NEW bed frame because they are not sure if they will be able to re-sell it. I don't understand why this is my problem. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will be writing corporate for this return policy scam they have going. I will NEVER buy from Sears again and I will tell everyone I know not to purchase from this scam company either.

Sears in Pompano Beach, Florida - Adds costs to groupon deals, doesn't honor what deal promises

I called coral springs sears regading groupon oil change deal with Purolator oil filter and tire rotation. was immediately told would add a "service fee" and that I would get something other than a Purolator oil filter. when I questioned that this differed from what the deal stated, I was repeatedly told i'd get some other oil filter. The agent would not allow me to read them what the deal was as it is written by groupon they hung up on me. when I tried to call back they would not answer phone. when I called store to speak with store manager, again, no one answers the phone.

We purchased our refrigerator in January of 2015..By May of 2016 the ice maker stopped working. We had in total 7 so-called technicians..before the 8th one discovered what was wrong.A very slow leak.( Ice makes can't make ice if the fridge isn't a certain temp) They re-charged the refrigerator once....it continued to do a very slow leak. We have lost over $500.00 worth of food. They only want to pay $250.00 We had to purchase a 4.4cu refrigerator just to survive. $130.00.... Orlando #8 just didn't show up most of the time.When he did this pass Saturday he cut out the wrong evaporator coil...which is not even in stock. The replacement parts sat on my floor for 2 weeks. Unbelievable poor installation and service team (got into a fight with each other and used the F-Bomb and his only adjective). Purchased a washer and dryer instore after researching the brand and model I wanted. Delivery scheduled for the next Saturday. I was out of town but my wife and mother were present. Two delivery men arrived and began to argue with each other in my driveway about how to assemble the pedestals. Their argument became very loud and obscene. One yelled back at the other, “Don’t tell me how to do my ***’N JOB!” It became bad enough that my wife called my neighbor to come over to help prevent a fight. Then the rest of the fun began. They told my wife that, “they were only scheduled 14 minutes to be here and didn’t have time for this ***.” (as if their scheduling issue was my wife’s fault). The service order specifically stated that the doors on the washer had to be reversed. The installed told my wife, “we don’t do that ***’n stuff out in the field, and I don’t have the right drill bit to do it.” My wife informed him that her brother was a contractor and she was sure he would have the drill bit needed. Then he immediately yelled, “*** It!” walked out to his truck and brought in the drill to do it. While switching the doors my wife walked past the laundry room right when the installed yelled, “Oh ***!” and she hear something drop into the bottom of the washer. He looked up and her and quickly said “Don’t worry that won’t hurt anything”. After over an hour they left, but first handed my wife the package that contained the new hose that the sale rep told me was required and that they would not install a new washer without it. The installer told my wife, “The one you had was better than that cheap piece of *** they sold you, so I left the old one on.” When I returned home that evening I noticed the dryer did not have the water line hooked up (this model has a steam option). That night I received an online survey. I filled it out honestly and one question asked if I wanted a member of management to return my call. I replied “Yes”. About 30 minutes later I got a call from “Rick”, the Fort Wayne, IN store manager. He heard my complaint and claimed he was going to have the regional manager call me. They would schedule someone to come out and finish the installation. So far no return call. Would have gladly paid more and gone somewhere else.

Sears - Kenmore Range Review from Lowmansville, Kentucky

I purchased a Kenmore stove about 3 years ago. In my lifetime i have owned 3 kenmore stoves including the one i have now. Its black with a stainless front and the worst stove in history. The top it too close to the panel underneath. I have replaced the the pans 4 times and i need to replace them again. My burners are coming apart. The quality is pathetic. I cant just go out and buy a stove at anytime. Again the quality stinks
