I purchased a Kenmore stove about 3 years ago. In my lifetime i have owned 3 kenmore stoves including the one i have now. Its black with a stainless front and the worst stove in history. The top it too close to the panel underneath. I have replaced the the pans 4 times and i need to replace them again. My burners are coming apart. The quality is pathetic. I cant just go out and buy a stove at anytime. Again the quality stinks

Sears in Springtown, Texas - Missed Delivery Date

Sears was scheduled to deliver a couple of large appliances on a specific date and time, received a phone call and email confirmation from Sears. I lost a day's wage waiting and expecting Sears to fulfill their commitment. Sears missed that delivery date altogether and never called to let me know they would not be coming. I've contacted the store, warehouse, and 1-800 number and did not receive a satisfactory resolution given the inconvenience caused by Sears. All I received was $25 in Sears Rewards points. Sears customer service is paltry at best. I intend to tell everyone I know to stay away from Sears altogether given the recent experience.

Sears in Yorba Linda, California - Kenmore Elite Top Panel rusting

My Kenmore elite washer is Rusting around top panel underneath and This is a design flaw as it is happening to everyone. I do not use liquid bleach at all. The enamel flakes off. The need Sears to Cowboy up and fix it. Less than 3 years old. Everyone is complaining and I do not see Sears fixing things. The worst washer I ever bought. I have had a bunch. Many of them bought at Sears. Maybe that is the last one bought at Sears. It basically needs a new "Top Panel" from what I see and Sears is telling everyone. They try hard to get you to buy a worthless service contract that does not cover Rust and other things. Sears needs to either stand behind their products or just file chapter 11 bankruptcy and close all their stores like so many other retailers have done. Just do s search for "Rusting Kenmore Elite washers" and look at all the pictures!!! This is not an isolated problem.

Sears - Terrible Return Service

I purchased a pair of shoes through Sears, received my order, and they were not as described so I sent them back. My return package was received by the returns department on June 23, 2016. It has now been 27 business days (July 29, 2016) and I STILL have not received my refund. I called into the customer service line to complain and get my money back only to be told I will have to wait another 3-5 business days to receive an answer on my refund! This is absurd! Their return policy says refunds are issued within 2 weeks. That's obviously not accurate at all!

Sears in Columbia, Maryland - Horrible Customer Service

Purchased 2 dresses on 6/23/16 for a wedding out of country, left few days later without reading the return policy on the receipt. Also purchased two other dresses from Sears Security Square Mall (ended up choosing one of these dresses for the wedding, remaining 3 stayed at home and didn't travel with me) few days later. Returned to US on 7/25, visited Sears Columbia to return the 3 that I didn't use. Informed by salesperson that I could not complete the return, she offered to let me speak with a manager. After few minutes, a woman arrived at the counter (manager?) - she did not introduce herself. After the salesperson stated to her that I wanted to speak with a manager, she turned to me and said "Yes?". I started by stating that I had bought dresses on 6/23/26 and wanted to return them - she cut me off and said "Sorry, we can't return". Before I had a chance to further explain my situation, she turned to the salesperson and said something - then walked away! Regardless of policy, customer service is clearly not a priority - I will not return, and I will make sure anyone that knows me does not return either.

SEARS RETURN POLICY IS AWFUL

I am so dissatisfied with my last Sears online purchase. I bought 6 pairs of work boots and simply want to exchange two brand new pairs for 2 wider pairs of boots. However, I am 37 days past my purchase date and NO ONE can help me or will do anything to rectify this simple request. I didn't even receive the boots until day 6 of the 30 day return window. The last time I ordered from Sears the policy was 90 days so I never in my mind assumed it had changed to a worse policy in the last year. I have now been forced to contact the corporate office over such a trivial matter. I doubt I'll hear anything back. I am absolutely not shopping at any of the Sears Holdings Companies (Sears, KMart,etc.) again.

Sears in Medford, Oregon - Terrible service

I hard ordered a refrigerator 4 weeks ago. At the time I was told it would take 3 weeks to get my appliance. That was a stretch but I decided i would wait. At the 3 weeks mark, I get an automated call telling me that the fridge would be one week late. I had not refrigerator now going on 4 weeks. I asked to talk to the salesperson and request that they sell me the floor model. It was refused. I tried to get a manager and left 2 messages and no one called me back. A week later I find out by calling the 800 number that once again my fridge is delayed. I cannot believe this. All attempts to contact the store were not answered. The phone rang numerous times and no one in appliance even picked it up. I have had terrible customer service, no one interested in fixing this problem and no call backs. I would never shop Sears again and would not recommend this company at all. Beware!

I bought a kenmore grill from sears that i wanted to convert to natural gas.so my cashier took me out to the kiosk and ordered what i needed supposedly. Well turns out for over eighty dollars you dont get everything you need.so in my frustration i decided not to do it and wanted to return the kit that was useless to me at this point.well turns out it was just over 30 days so now im out 80 bucks for a kit their employee ordered for me that doesnt have everything to do the job.after talking to a manager and getting disconnected im really disappointed. I hate Walmart but i can see why sears is going out of business.

My wife purchased a new craftsman 6 gallon compressor from Sears for my Father's Day gift. 6 gallon is too small for what i use them for which is mainly in my garage. Tried to return it brand new unopened in the box WITH the receipt. It had been 38 days since the purchase so they refused. Wouldn't even let me exchange it with cash towards a bigger compressor. I mean seriously?!? Lost my business for life. I will never buy craftsman again and I'm a guy that likes his tools. Incidents like this is why there probably won't be a Sears in 10 yrs.
