I ordered a 50 gallon water heater ..to replace old model..for my 82 year old Mother...I knew the model was refurbished...however I didnt know that the 3rd party u use was incompetent..i had to take it back 2 times before i found one that actually works..after the 3rd time it finally worked..sooo sad for Sears..we always thought Sears kept their Quality..I work for the Big three Automotive....I told my friends ..of my experience and they told me....What The Was I Thinging Sears...Sears really I deserved what I got...Sad Sad Sad ..4 Days to Replace a Water heater..I dont know who ur C.E.O. is ..but You have at least 465000 auto workers in Michigan ..as well as in the Continental U.S.A...that use a network called Dashboard...that strictly tells every Auto Worker to stay away from ur products...Now i can see why..Quality ..Customer service...knowledge of ur product...My name is Nick Gjonaj...Quality control at Mopar..Right part right product on time...Nikolagjonaj.ng@gmail.com I grew up lovin Sears..Now u have destroyed it for my children..

Sears in Anderson, Indiana - Bad Repair Company

I have battled problems for the last 4 years with diamonds constantly falling out my ring. It got so bad that Sears had me exchange my original for another ring. Money was refunded with the lifetime warranty and put on the new ring. I am still experiencing the same issues! Ring was sent out for missing diamonds. Three weeks later, ring had to be sent out again because the *** diamonds fell out! Sears needs to fire their repair company. I keep losing the sentimental value behind my wedding ring! If a diamond falls out again, I will never deal with Sears!

Sears in Yorktown, Virginia - Warranty on Central Air-condition unit

On July 12, 2016 my central air-condition unit stopped working, at that time I requested repairs to be made. Now after the repairman has worked on it 4 times. Each time he failed to repair it saying he needed to order parts. We are still waiting for more repair parts to replace the ones he has already installed. So far it has been eleven days waiting. All the complaint department will say about the repair is another three days for the repair parts to arrive for the repairman to come back. There have been numerous heat temperature alerts since the temp has been mid 80's to mid 90's with a heat index well over 100. The house is occupied by my daughter, her fiancee who has had seizures, and her dog who are all in suffering in this heat. After 25 years as a customer with there credit all I can say is what happened.

Bought a new washer and dryer, they didn't bring the right parts to install them, rescheduled me for a week later with the correct parts. Showed up the next week and before I could answer the guard house call (after they were already 30 minutes late from their scheduled time), they said we can't wait here (after 2 minutes) and left the parts. I immediately called and got in touch with their dispatch, who told me it was too late in the day for them to come back and want me to reschedule for another week. *** Sears, I will never do business with them again. Driver should be fired. If I had an employee who was so inept they would be fired on the spot.

Sears in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Dealing with Sears customer service is an absolute nightmare. I have logged countlless hours, yes hours, on the telephone trying to have my microwave replaced. The microwave I purchased just stopped working after only having it for 3 days, not to mention that the interior light never worked from day one. Each time I have contacted the customer service department for a replacement with installation (which I paid for through Sears), I end up speaking to different representatives who all have assured me that they are "very sorry ma'am" and they they will "go ahead and submitted a credit for a replacement." However, after waiting a few days for the delivery phone call, it never comes. I have been without a microwave for 2 weeks and have to contact the customer service department every 2 days or so and start all over again....UNACCEPTABLE. If you do not want to be tormented by the lack of effectiveness of the customer service department, do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM THE SEARS ONLINE STORE!!!!!!!

I have the warranty for my washer and I had to wait for July the 7th until a tech came out told me that a board needed to be order waited for the board now we at the date of July 18th and I went downstairs to wash machine not working what a surprise oh before I forget Sears I guess no longer has techs so this is a contracted company and they have many we are going to be a month and my washer is still not working I am so upset and I just got a call to see if I wanted to renew *** NO I am not the only customer that feels this way so very upset

Tried to buy tires, Sears took my money and tried to claim they didn't

I have a claim via my bank against Sears for taking over $400 out of my account and not providing the merchandise I paid for. I ordered tires and installation online through my local Sears. I got a confirmation email of my order and it said they'd call to confirm or reschedule my requested appointment. No one called. I called the Auto Center at my local Sears the next day and was told that it "hadn't dropped into their system yet" and that they would call me when it did. I was told to wait for them to call me. Five days pass and no one calls me so I call the Auto Center again. The condescending employee on the other end tried told me my order had been cancelled and when I asked why, he tried to tell me that it was because I didn't come and pick up my tires in time. I told him that I had called them the next day to verify my order and I was told that THEY would call ME when my tires came in and when I could come get them installed. He back peddled and gave me the customer service phone number. I called and was on hold for 30 minutes trying to reach a Customer Service Rep. I gave up and went to the Sears website and did an online chat with a Customer Service Rep. The Rep told me that she could put in a re-order of my tires since "no money had exchanged." I said "hold on a sec...Sears charged me and over $400 was taken out of my bank account." They asked me if I was sure and it wasn't pending. I told them it had been deducted 6 days ago and it was GONE. I was told they had no record of receiving payment from me and that I had to provide them with proof from the bank that they had charged me! I sent them a statement showing the debit and heard NOTHING again from them. Nearly a week passed after that so I went ahead and filed a dispute claim against the charge with my bank. It's currently in progress. It's been nearly a month since I tried to buy tires from Sears and I'm still out of over $400 and NO tires. If for some reason my bank doesn't get my money back (which I doubt that will happen), I'm going to the BBB. You can't just take money from people, cancel their order without telling them and then say "what money". Suffice to say, I will never be buying anything from Sears again. Sears has gone downhill over the last few years. I hope the store goes out of business soon so other people don't get robbed by them!

I saw a vacuum on sale it said for display item only, Went to sales person that has worked there for years, and he brought to register to ring up and someone csme out of back room and said i could not purchase it unless i bought the new one in a box first. I told her that the sign said for sale shd said a customer must of swsp it out and put it there i told her it was taped on there with the model number and all and refused to sell it to me.

Big Issue With My Sears Credit Card 07/21/16

Have had a Sears credit card for 16 yrs even tho I have not used it for quite sometime. Also had a card before that before my husband passed away which was in his name. Have been paying monthly for the credit card debt with no problems and have never missed one payment. I called there as I do to get the amount I owe this time and always so happy to get the voice mail that gives me that information but this time got a person who I could barely understand and who also did not make sense whatsoever. Before he answered, a message came on saying I was 7 days late with my payment which is so wrong cause I had paid it June 21st and it wasn't due till July 10. I get my check the 19th of every month, so I pay all my bills at that time and at that time I never have the bill from Sears and that is why I call their number to get the amount. My monthly payments are not that bad, but the new bill which just came has been raised over 100 dollars more. I called more than one person to see what's going on and no help. I have all my account statements here since I pay online and my bank statements also show I'm paid up to date. It doesn't help to call them, but I am not giving up. I don't have money to throw away to things I do not owe. I also may contact my lawyer and I also plan to get a personal loan to pay off this terrible card. This is the first time I have ever had a complaint about Sears, but after this, I do not want anything to do with it. I see many complaints online about Sears other than mine, so I know there are many dissatisfied people.
