I have multiple bad experiences with Sears Auto Department, and I am tired of it so I thought I would give some feedback. The most recent in incident was with a representative over the phone about the warranty on my Die Hard Gold Battery. My battery has not been working due to my car not being used for extended amounts of time. I wanted to verify whether it was still covered under warranty prior to making a 45 minute drive all the way into Brandon, FL location. The representative did not even want to look up the account initially. Then when I provided the account information he continued to be passive aggressive about everything and eventually just kept ignoring all questions and repeating that the battery is no longer under warranty. I might have been talking to an automated system. I am fine spending the money on another Die Hard battery as I clearly am a loyal customer to the brand, once it is needed. I just wanted to inquire whether they would check and charge the battery since the battery is marked to have a 4- year life of which I am well within. The 3 year warranty is only there to address if the replacement is needed, of which I understood that I was out of warranty and would have to purchase one if the battery was truly dead. The manner and tone of which this representative spoke to me clearly exhibited no customer service or assistance, and because of it Sears will lose money. Their employees need need more customer service training. I don't understand how people can be so disrespectful to another person. As a side note, I charged the battery and it working fine. Sears has permanently loss me as a customer.

I bought a pool table when I open the box I realized that's no the one I wanted so decided to buy the more expensive one and return the one I bought witch it was never assembled so when I took it to the store the manager said he was taking it back but he was gonna charge 15% of restocking fee because the box was opened and to me that's stealing money first I'm on 30 days for exchange or return yes the box is open that's how you know what you bought if the box is open so now I'm pissed off cause I want my money back with no fees the item is brand new and I need a solution to this matter please contact me ASAP I will greatly appreciated it.

My engagement ring was bought at the everett sears. Less than 36 hours later, one diamond and gold was missing! We sent in in for repairs. They told us it would be 2weeks. It going on 4 and i still have no ring! Im upset and angry. Where is my ring? Will i get it back ?

I bought a zero degree mower it was delivered without the grass deflector chute which had the keys attached to it. We called immediately but no one would answer the phone at the store. So we called customer service who transferred me to client solutions then back to delivery. The CSR for delivery stated she was also speaking with the delivery driver and he was approx 30 miles away but he would be sent back here and would arrive in about 2 hours. Needless to say he never came back. I again called the resolutions dept who stated they would send a set of keys and chute to arrive in 5 to 7 days. I got the keys no chute so I called again. The chute arrived 3 days later however it was sent with the wrong bracket to attach it with. So now I have to call them again. This is ridiculous you spend 3 to 4k and receive the product but can't use it because they can't get their *** together. Horrible horrible service.

A $15.00 Jumper. I have been going to sears all my life. Buying school clothes, washers, TV 's and tires. However this new return policy is ridicules 30-days. I will never shop at Sears again I have been a loyal customer and credit card holder for over 30 yr. Last night walked into Sears Grand in Rancho Cucamongo to return a $15.00 outfit for a larger size. I was told by your customer service because I was 4 days over the 30Day return or exchange policy I could not exchange this outfit for a larger size. Asked for the manager and was told the same thing that they would not exchange my outfit. Sears, I can belive that you want to loss a loyal customer for $15 but that's what you been. Over 47 years of business with Sears time to find another store.

I received a delivery window of 2 to 4 pm last Monday. At 430 I called the delivery number and they said it would be closer to 6pm. At 7:45pm I was told the same thing as I was told earlier, that they had 3 more deliveries before my house. They did not care at all that u waited around for 6 hours and I couldn't wait any longer so I changed it to Thursday. On wed night I was told that the dryer is not at the warehouse yet so my delivery is now scheduled for tomorrow. That meant that I should never have been scheduled for last Monday! I was given a 40 gift card but I believe it should have been more than that for all of the hassle of taking a day off, waiting around, rude customer service last Monday, and inconvenience of not having a dryer!

Bought washer at sears in nov. Washer left film all over clothes @ stained then sears wont exchange washer . They sent serviceman here 3 times @ said if I call again willbe charged we had to buy new washer still fighting for our money back.worst people to ever deal with ever

Sears in Columbia, South Carolina - Bad delivery experience again.

Just had a range delivered. I had spoken to Sears about wanting to exchange the 4- for a 3-prong power cord, and was told that I had to wait for it to be delivered before I could return it. So, I purchased a 3 prong cord - thankfully since they did not deliver a cord. On signing the paperwork I asked about the return of the cord. It was not in their paperwork. They put a note on the sheet that I signed and had me sign their blank phone screen (I don't know what I signed!!). I asked for my copy of the paperwork. They said they didn't have paperwork for me. I asked to copy the sheet and offered to cover the names of other customers on the sheet. I got a one word answer, "No." And, the lead fella turned around to bound toward the door saying to the other fella, "Come on." They were out the door! RUDE, POORLY TRAINED, angry?, DON'T-GIVE-A-*** attitude. This follows a frig delivery a year ago where they were rude, did not want to haul off the old frig, were not trained to lift/transport a small full size frig. The old frig fell down the stairs and thankfully the fella at the bottom got out of the way. When I called customer service about the power cord, he said, "We will give you $30." I asked what that was for. "Your cord was $10.99 and we will give you $30." I looked up the cost of the cord, "It was $29.99." He said, "Oh, we will give you $40." Do I think that Sears will establish a policy of giving customers a copy of the paperwork they sign? No. Do I think Sears cares that the delivery employees are rude and uninterested in customer service? No. Will I ever shop at Sears again? NO!

Purchase a pair of work boots from Sears and didn't use them for about 3 months once I decided to use them I realize they were a pair that I had purchased in the past that have red sores on the heel of my feet my feet. Today I tried to return them and they would not take them back they have never been worn in the original packaging and they still carry the same shoe in their stock. So I proceeded to just ask for a store credit no loss to the store right after all the money is still being spent with Sears even that didn't work so I asked to speak to a store manager the manager came down and said all Sears lost a lot of money because of people returning things. I explained to her that a store credit would do and that way I could purchase something in the near future that was not even acceptable. Even tried calling the customer solution line and still had no luck so I guess since I've been shopping at Sears since I can remember probably when I was 12 years old purchasing my NBA basketball shoes from them so you know how long ago that's been. So after several years I have decided that I would cut up my Sears card which I did after I left the store tossed it in 3 different trash cans so there will be no for a called them and closed the account. I've bough TVs from Sears washers and dryers furniture tools lawn mowers work shoes clothing you name it. I guess I won't be helping them keep the lights on because they'll just be a blast in the past as I was traveling through Alabama yesterday I ran across the Sears store in Oxnard Alabama that said store closing. If they keep losing customers like me the list will grow longer to their demise too bad it has to end like this.

Sears in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Unhappy faithful customer.

I purchased a pair of shorts seven weeks ago. I was told at the time the return policy with 90 days unless I misunderstood her.I did not wash them wear them or remove any labels and had the receipt. I went to return them today they said they could not except them because it was over 30 days. I asked to speak to a manager and waited 15 to 20 minutes with no one showing up. I spoke to another sales associate she said she could exchange them for another pair of shorts. She said she could not exchange them with the receipt in the register would lock and said she would have to do it without a receipt and would give me credit for $16 and change what a $27 pair of shorts I told her no I left unhappy. I came home and called corporate office and spoke to five different people including supervisors and they all told me that 30 days what's your policy and they are strictly adhere to that and could not help me. I have shopped at Sears for over 40 years and spent thousands upon thousands of dollars and I will never shop there again. It's sad to see a once great company treat loyal customers this way and they will not be be in business doing so. Sad.
