Purchase a pair of work boots from Sears and didn't use them for about 3 months once I decided to use them I realize they were a pair that I had purchased in the past that have red sores on the heel of my feet my feet. Today I tried to return them and they would not take them back they have never been worn in the original packaging and they still carry the same shoe in their stock. So I proceeded to just ask for a store credit no loss to the store right after all the money is still being spent with Sears even that didn't work so I asked to speak to a store manager the manager came down and said all Sears lost a lot of money because of people returning things. I explained to her that a store credit would do and that way I could purchase something in the near future that was not even acceptable. Even tried calling the customer solution line and still had no luck so I guess since I've been shopping at Sears since I can remember probably when I was 12 years old purchasing my NBA basketball shoes from them so you know how long ago that's been. So after several years I have decided that I would cut up my Sears card which I did after I left the store tossed it in 3 different trash cans so there will be no for a called them and closed the account. I've bough TVs from Sears washers and dryers furniture tools lawn mowers work shoes clothing you name it. I guess I won't be helping them keep the lights on because they'll just be a blast in the past as I was traveling through Alabama yesterday I ran across the Sears store in Oxnard Alabama that said store closing. If they keep losing customers like me the list will grow longer to their demise too bad it has to end like this.

Sears review in Fort Lauderdale, Florida: Unhappy faithful customer.

I purchased a pair of shorts seven weeks ago. I was told at the time the return policy with 90 days unless I misunderstood her.I did not wash them wear them or remove any labels and had the receipt. I went to return them today they said they could not except them because it was over 30 days. I asked to speak to a manager and waited 15 to 20 minutes with no one showing up. I spoke to another sales associate she said she could exchange them for another pair of shorts. She said she could not exchange them with the receipt in the register would lock and said she would have to do it without a receipt and would give me credit for $16 and change what a $27 pair of shorts I told her no I left unhappy. I came home and called corporate office and spoke to five different people including supervisors and they all told me that 30 days what's your policy and they are strictly adhere to that and could not help me. I have shopped at Sears for over 40 years and spent thousands upon thousands of dollars and I will never shop there again. It's sad to see a once great company treat loyal customers this way and they will not be be in business doing so. Sad.

I purchased a $400 diamond bracelet from SEARS OLYMPIA WA for Mother's Day 2016. One of the diamonds has fallen out and the clasp doesn't work anymore. I took it to SEARS in Olympia WA for repair or replacement. The manager at Sears say that because I did not buy a warranty and because it is past 30 days, they won't replace or refund. They offered to send it out for repair, but I would have to pay for the repairs. THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE PIECE OF JEWELRY!!! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT SEARS AGAIN. They used to be known for their great customer service. I will return my sears card and shop elsewhere in future.

Sears Customer Care Review

So I call a local repair shop to repair my cheaply made Kenmore freezer door. They come out the same day only to be told only Sears can repair it. When I call Sears they can only come out 5 days later and then have the nerve to try to sell me all kinds of programs and addins. $39 per month for appliance warranty! Really? *** off Sears!

We bought a air condition from sears for some reason we got and extended warranty. The air conditioner went out , we called sears they said they have no records on us having a warranty . We found our copy. They told us it will be two weeks before they could come out , remind you its 100 degrees outside. So we called back again and they were so disrespectful. They kept giving us the run around. We could not speak to nobody who could help us. So we to a outside contractors to get it fix now they tell us that the warranty is voided. Now everybody we talk to were so disrespectful. It's like once you make a purchase they tell you to go to ***,any problems is your problem. I would advise you never purchase anything from sears. Once you buy it your stuck with it . They do not care about you after you purchase something from them

I purchased this freezer a year ago from kmart which carry Kenmore products. The freezer stopped running with two months supply of food inside. I unplugged it to see if it would reset. It didn't work. I've contact Sears being they were given for repairs they wanted a $75.00 fee just to diagnose the problem and offered to sell me a contract. I am very this harden. I would like my money back and sear to stop manufacturer in products in China.

I recently purchased a new refrigerator and range. When the delivery people hooked up the new range they never bothered to check for leaks. They did check to see if all the burners worked. They told us everything is good to go and turn on oven for about fifteen minutes before cooking anything. The one thing they forgot to tell us was that there was a sample pouch of stainless steel cleaner wedged between the convection fan and back of oven. We turned on the oven like we were told and ten minutes later we had stainless cleaner all over the inside of the oven and a whole house full of smoke. We cleaned the inside of the oven, but didn't know if any got into the actual fan. Since the cleaner had the word poison and a skull and cross bones on it we decided that it might be a better idea to exchange it for a other one instead of cleaning it for an hour. Sears said they would exchange it, but it would take a week. I bought it on a Sat. and got it delivered on a Wed. Why a week I asked ?? I paid to have my old one hauled away, now I have to go a week with no oven. I told the Manager that I was very disappointed . He told me while walking away from me and playing on his cell phone that "I would be too". I never heard the word sorry and was never offered any compensation. I guess whatever was on his phone was more important than me. Maybe he was looking for a Pokemon. The one reason I went to Sears was I remembered going there with my parents when I was a child. They always had good luck there. There are a lot of stores that I went to as a child that are no longer in business. (ex. Montgomery Ward). Every where I look I see a Sears store closing or a Kmart closing. I used to think what a shame if a store like Sears was no longer in business after how many years??? With customer service like this , I think it is inevitable that they will be gone one day.

Sorry to hear another example of how untrained and uncaring workers reflect on a business. No pride in their work they'll easily ignore you and it never ends with the phone.

Do not order online with this company! I had an order that was supposed to arrive on the 8th. After recieving an email saying thay it had shipped, we patiently waited....well it never came! Made a phone call and they said they werent sure what had happened so we waited another day and called back. This time, the lady said she called the warehouse and it did in fact ship. She didnt know why the tracking hadnt been updated. So we call ups. They say they never recieved the package. We call sears again! They now say they cant find it in the warehouse or even a saw that same model!!! So they dont even have the item thay they already charged me for! Now when I call they keep saying they are having their computer updated so they cant pull up my order and ask me to call back!!! So unbelievable!

In late May of 2016, I went inside the SEARS store to purchase a COMPLETE bed set (frame, boxspring, mattress). Not only did the workers in the store offer little to no help, but they spent most of the time debating which taco places were best (I kid you not). Meanwhile, I surfed the website, even asking for assistance. I found a deal online for a "complete pillowtop bed set." The worker didn't seem to know much about it, but still helped me checkout online. I ordered it around May 24, it was processed around May 26. It was to be delivered by Demar Logistics Inc on June 1, 2016 - it comes June 2, 2016. Not even the deliverer knew what the two packages were, but they were NOT a complete bed set - it was more like a box of frame pieces and another box of a rolled up [heavy] mattress thingy. I cried. I called and cried and complained and told them to refund and retrieve the packages. "You'll get an email in 24-48 hours." Get used to that phrase; the emails never come in. Eventually, the refund went through. In late June, someone arrives and takes away one package (the frame, the smaller of the two pieces), and claims that the larger is not in the same condition that it was delivered, so he would not take it - it WAS in the same condition, but that condition sucked, go figure. They come again on July 6, UNANNOUNCED to retrieve the last box. No one was home because we work all day. They called and setup a pickup time for Tuesday, July 12, 2016, and no one shows up, even though I stayed home all day to wait for them. The numbers that called me on July 6 no longer work, and I've been told to reschedule ANOTHER pickup within "24-48 hours." I'm still waiting for this to be over with. They've caused a lot of stress and anxiety, and little to no help or support. Worst customer service. Worst produce I've ever seen. Worst help management. Worst communication = worst company. I will never ever buy from SEARS again, and I will discourage all others from doing so.
