Sears review in Spokane, Washington: Repeatedly terrible ....

Last 4 major item transactions failed one way or other. On phone for hours it seems. Foreigners handling customer service. hard to understand .... weak volume. Tossed from one department to another. Ordered a TV ... it never arrived. They screwed up the delivery. Ordered a dryer. They didn't offer accessories online, so they wouldn't haul away old ... or install new. Wanted me to physically go to store ... buy the accessories. call them back and schedule haul away and install on who knows what date. I canceled the order ... told them to come and get the one they left in my garage .... and ordered with a competent store who knows how to do it. SEARS never used to be this bad. Current management has DESTROYED a once fine company. Shame.

I am very disappointed in the sales practice, quality of merchandise and customer service in the fine jewelry department at Sears in the Solano Mall. My husband purchased a ring for me for my birthday. 9 months after the initial purchase one of the sapphires fell out. We took it back to the store and they were unable to repair it so they sold us a new ring. This happened 3 times all within 16 months of the initial purchase. Today was the 3rd time they had sent it out for repairs and sent it back saying they couldn't repair it. I knew this going into the store and was ready to just choose a different style ring. Apparently, that wasn't an option. I dealt with two people today regarding the defect in the gift I received that was purchased in the fine jewelry department. The first person, Clara Pedroza, was very cold and mechanical. She offered no resolution to the problem other than to rush me out with a store credit which in my opinion, was unsatisfactory considering this was the third time I was in for the same problem and the item was not purchased with store credit. The second person, Erica Serrano, was a bit more sympathetic to my situation but again, not very helpful as she was more interested in trying to justify the stores policy on their damaged and defective merchandise by telling me a story of her own experience with a major corporation and her loss, rather than coming up with a solution to rectify mine. I left the store feeling disgusted, disappointed and used. Be wary of what you purchase and where. You get what you pay for.

Sears Refrigerator Repair Review

Details
We purchased this product and 14 months later the compressor broke. We had a tech come out 2 different occasions and still no repair we were told that the part was on back order. We had to live out of coolers for 2 weeks. Terrible customer service. They do not stand behind there products, I will never step foot in a Sears store again.

Delivery people had smoked marijuana just before reaching my home . The smell was overwhelming, stole my drill, moved old appliances then refused to move back when the dwlivery failed because they didn't take measurments before mocing stuff. All customer service is overseas in philipines.

Sears review in Plano, Texas: Read the small print, no matter what the sales rep says

Based on what the sales rep said, I thought I was signing up for a rent to own. Turns out the small print told a different story. Paid just shy of $150/mo for 7 months on a stove that was initially priced at about $850. I started wondering why payments were still coming out of my account and called in. They told me I was just leasing it, and I had the option to either pay the full depreciated value of the stove or return it. If I hadn't called in, they would have continued to charge me nearly $150/mo for 18 months, with me thinking I was paying on a loan, and then still charged me for the stove. When all is said and done, I will have paid over $1,300 for my $850 stove. Oh, and the stove sucks; half the time it won't light.

Sears review: Review in Supermarkets and Malls category from Dallas, Texas

I ordered a whirlpool dishwasher on 06/30/2016 expected delivery and installation date 7/2/2016 by Roy Feagley installation. No call no show. On 7/5/2016 after returning home from the holiday. I called to status the delivery and installation. The Sears rep who was clearly overseas and could barely understand my English said that she could not get in touch with installer. I called multiple times to installed with no answer. I called Sears to see if they had another installer, they said no. I cancelled installation and was transferred to online services to schedule a delivery. The overseas rep did not understand my request (language barriers) and after a long wait time he hung up the call. I called back and another customer service rep told be that the dishwasher could not be delivered. WTH, I paid in full for the product and services and this was the worst experience I have ever had. Now they tell me I can't get a refund for 10 days. I am not happy because I have to wait those 10 days to buy a dishwasher that I need.

I bought a refrigerator from Sears Model # 51132. to be shipped to Neil's Harbour, Nova Scotia. There was a Sears delivery point at Neil's Harbour Co-op, but they closed it out. After that we got our appliances delivered from Cheticamp, until they closed that one. Now the closest one is Inverness. How long before Sears goes into a Chapter 11 ? I bought all my appliances from Sears, like my father did. I am stuck now but will never deal with Sears again ! What else can I say. This company should be put out of its misery and let some other company like Home Depot or Lowes come in and give us better service. That's all I have to say !!

SEARS – DIEHARD Battery Warranty Services or lack thereof

This review entitled “DIEHARD Battery Warranty Services or lack thereof “ denotes and showcase the abysmal distraught-disgraceful experience that one can expect from warranty services provided by Sears to its nonetheless top of line Diehard car batteries. About 2 years and few months I bought a Diehard Sears brand battery at a local Meijers store. Note that it is a sears brand therefore Sears is solely responsible to provide warranty services to this battery since is the brand holder and thus has the responsibility of the manufacturer in providing warranty services to this item. This item is supposed covered by a 3 years replacement warranty. This battery failed miserably in about 2 years (I tried to balance the charge of the battery cells, revitilize the battery by pulse width modulation for no avail). Subsequently, I took the natural steps to use the warranty service which implies a 3 years replacement; and went ahead to a Sears auto center which turned out to be a noxious, obtuse and obnoxious disgrace. As one would expect, any item sold in the 21th century has a myriad of numbers and codes that are linked electronically to retailers+manufacturers+brand owners thus allowing a manufacturer+brand holder to retrieve the data of manufacturing and date of purchase, etc. With that belief in mind one normally would not keep receipts of every small item bought over 2 years ago (especially if one buys literally 1000s of things in this time period). For instance, I bought a full featured space heater at a Meijers store on a given occasion which then failed to operate and once I contacted the manufacturer by simply providing the serial number they promptly shipped me a replacement unit. That seems to be the norm nowdays, but that is not the case with Sears. Not only this is not the norm with Sears due to the fact that the Sears representative then refused to provide any warranty services, but even indicated that even though the data of manufacturing of the battery alone would grant the warranty service that Sears could not be sure whether or not I bought the battery from a third party... That is an abysmal of disrespect and disregard to any sense of human decency since from that point on Sears was implying within the realm of its inability to provide basic warranty services that I would be trying to obtain warranty for battery bought at a junk yard which is ludicrous since nobody would dispose of a battery with a full warranty in a junk yard... or maybe they would in case it was bought at Sears since as a the in point herein demonstrated Sears customer service and warranty services are nothing but an abysmal disgraceful and noxious experience to say the least for anyone with a basic sense of decency and respect whom would expect the minimum to be expected nowdays. Never buy anything with the Sears fantasy brand names especially if sold elsewhere since they will not provide basic warranty services, and you will also experience a clear disregard towards the basic premises of human decency and respect.
