purchased boots as a gift directly from Sears website. the boots coast 19.99 then cost me another 9.99 to have them delivered. Boots did not fir and now Sears is saying I can not return them in the store because they came from a outside affiliate. What?? Never heard of 8088shoes. Sears took my credit card...Sears should refund my money! I was told by some random guy that I have to ship the boots back at my expense?? That is nuts I paid 19.99 for the boots, 9.99 to get them shipped, and now they want another 9.99 to ship them back. That is 40 bucks for a 20$ pair of boots that don't fit. If sears is selling the item on their website they need to take responsibility for all products. No wonder Sears is going out of business

I hear you! I have been a loyal Sears customer my whole life as well. All my home appliances were bought at Sears. I just drove 35 miles to exchange a pair of jeans I had bought for my son for Christmas. I bought them just over 40 days ago, and needed a longer size. I planned on exchanging the 32×32 for a 32×34, plus buy two more pair for him. I had my receipt. Sears didn't have the 32x34, but had them on their website. So, my plan was to return the 32x32, and then order three pair from Sears.com. This *** store refused to accept the return.. all they had to do was return my $20, and put them back on the shelf with all the other exact same jeans! I explained that I bought them for Christmas but needed a different size.. Nope. I asked if they could order the correct size, so I could exchange them.. Plus buy two more pair in the 32x34. Nope..the manager refused. Are you kidding me Sears???? No wonder you are going belly up!!! You deserve it! You have lost a loyal customer forever.. and all for $20.

Just another unhappy Sears customer.Tried to exchange a pair of jeans for a different size and was past the 30 return policy.I was told there was nothing they could do for me.I have purchased a stove ,refrigerator,lawnmower,and to many tools to count and they can't even do an exchange at the same store on a 30$ pair of jeans?They are flat out telling me they don't want my business and would suggest you don't give them yours...

I get a text the day before my scheduled mattress delivery that delivery is still on between 12-2 the next day. I break down the old bed, haul it to another room, *** work for the afternoon. At 11:00 am I get a text saying the delivery has been reschedule for another week! I call customer service to find out what happened; mattress never came from manufacturer. Then why text me that my delivery was coming? After that phone call, I get another text saying that I requested to have my delivery delayed another week. What??! I'm furious and call India (I'm guessing); ask to speak to a manager. I wait 7 minutes and finally get "Sammy" who says she'll check into it, please hold. After 5 more minutes, she hangs up on me. No call back (they have my number on the order). I call again and speak to some poor stiff in India who can't answer my question, where the *** am I supposed to sleep? I understand that sometimes things don't go as planned, but why text me that the delivery is still on when you don't even have the items? Sears doesn't give a *** about me as a customer - if you screw up, make it right, don't hide.

I have been loyally shopping at sears for the last 10 years. After Christmas I tried to take back a gift I recieved and they told me I needed a receipt to get store credit. It could t have cost more than $10. The same day I returned things to Walmart, target, and Home Depot with no receipt and had zero issues. My target item was over $100 and I had no trouble. This has been another disappointing experience with sears. I will no longer be customer of sears after this experience.

Poor online customer service

I bought toys for my grand kids sears online. My grand kids already have the toys. The products are in the original package they have not been opened. I have reached out to sears online customer service multiple times and all I get is a run around. I just want to get return labels, send the products back and be credit back to my sears card. Each time that I call online customer service they tell me they will have the merchant vendor contact me by email. I have called sears 10 times in the last month and I have not yet heard one word from anybody. If I don't hear back from sears in the next 72 hours I will be taking this to a higher level.

After several conversations with the corporate and local customer service representatives, I can say Sears has the worst customer service. Considering I had my refrigerator repaired twice for the same issue, I decide to buy a new refrigerator. I called on Sunday to schedule the appointment for Wednesday. The representative informed me I would receive the night before, between 6pm-9pm, notifying me of my two-hour window. Needless to say, I never received a called. On Tuesday night I called the delivery department at 1-80*-732-****. Per the automatic system, my delivery time was scheduled for 1045am-1245pm. After which the prompt system directed me to a representative. At that time, she told me that due to my location in reference to the warehouse I had to keep the appointment. Maybe I could have accepted the fact that the appointment was made without my consent if I had not previous been yelled at, hung up on and disrespected at by another representative in the past. In the end, I had to reschedule again. The representative proceeded to give a scripted Unapologetic Apology. I will never buy another appliance from Sears again.

The project consultant also told us that they use Sears employees for installation. A sub-contractor showed up in a white van, with no Sears logo, no identification. He admitted to me that he is not a Sears employee.

I bought $10,000 of flooring from Sears, which they installed. They replaced the small trim at the floor seam with painted white, which is hideous next to my brown stained baseboard trim. The scratched my hardwood floors when moving furniture in order to install the laminate flooring. They took 3 days, when promised it would take 2 days, keeping my husband up all day after he had worked all night and had to return to work that night. They installed the wrong flooring in one of the bathrooms. When I called to complain, they basically said, "Oh well..." Offered to do nothing and seemed insulted that I had called to place a complaint. I'll NEVER shop at Sears again. Even the project consultant lied to us when she sold us the flooring. I don't like liars and people who don't care when they have a dissatisfied customer. Next time I'm going to Home Depot.

Service a 1year 2 month refrigerator

I called sears service my refrigerator the refrigerator light was blinking' service test came to the house charged me 99.00 for visit. He opened refrigerator .Typed into computer the problem and result is I needed to replace the light in refrigerator.He ordered the light he didn't have it in his truck. that part was 115.00He also charge me for him diagnosing in his computer 110.00.Come on 300.00.And I have to get service test back to the house to install the part for 99.00 for install.never again will I ever buy sears appliance. I went onto you tube and installed the part myself..I understand why they are loosing their customers.

Gas stove purchase

At the beginning of November we bought a gas stove which was on sale. We were planning on a kitchen renovation so we bought and paid for the stove, plus extended warranty and told the CSR that we would call once we had confirmed the kitchen reno details. We called a week later to confirm that we had the trades lined up and would like the stove delivered on December 6 which they confirmed was okay. On December 3 we received a phone call to say that the stove was not available and would not be delivered until December 22. At this point our kitchen was pulled apart, trades were working and we would be without a stove for 16 days. We however were even more shocked when we were told that they could not even guarantee delivery for December 22 and would not know for sure until a couple of days prior to that. At that point I went on-line and realized that this is now the norm for Sears and that the extended warranty provided very poor service in the event the appliance malfunctioned. The next day I went to our local store (McDonald's Furniture and Appliances in Meaford, ON). I was able to buy an equivalent stove for $100 cheaper, Extended Warranty for about $110 cheaper (service would be by local repair shop), delivery was $30 versus $79 for Sears and they would haul away our old appliance free of charge. They suggested I might like to extend a small tip to the delivery person if I chose. Best yet - I was told I could have it delivered in the morning if I ordered by 5:00 p.m. today. Sears are losing one customer at time but multiply that by thousands over the year and it is easy to see where this company is heading. they are closing more stores every year and it won't be long before the company ends up in receivership. I will be doing more shopping at my local store in the future.

Sears - Cabinet Installation Review

I had my cabinets installed it was a reface project still can't get them completed a month after they were supposed to be done, wrong faucet was installed, Granite counter tops were not installed at the time I was given, glass doors were not installed, drawers were put in instead of cabinets, etc. I have called everyone for some type of help and nobody will call me back. The project manager never returns my calls this has been a complete nightmare I only went with the Sears because they were going to get it done faster than Home Depot or Lowe's I regret making this decision. I still can't seem to get this project completed and haven't heard back from anyone!!

I had my appliances delivered on 10/8/2016.  The wrong dryer came and the delivery guys called the delivery department. They said to return the dryer that was on the truck and the gas one would be delivered the following week.  No one ever called within 48 hours to schedule the delivery.  I called again and they had no idea what i was talking about.  Explained the whole story and again 48 hours and no call.  I called again to the overseas phillipinie call center and same story. No idea what i was tlking about or record of any delivery.  Went through the same problem in weeks 3. It never showed up and I tried to call to reschedule but the horrific philline call center has no idea.  I got a cal from Bernadet on the Nov 21st to find out the order was cancelled, no one called to tell me this.  I was waiting for delivery still.  After this they said they would refund me the money and i would have to buy another dryer within 5 to 7 days.  Now it is 11/7 and no refund and no dryer. I called Bernadet and she said she needs 48 more hours to get an answer.  I have a family of 5 and can't do my laundry and still no answers on delivery.  I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SEARS AGAIN AFTER 3 GENERATIONS OF MY FAMILY BEING LOYAL CUSTOMERS TO SEARS!!!   ITS A SAD DAY FOR AN AMERICAN COMPANY THAT I LOVED!   ​CHRIS

Sears Service Didn't Show So We're Moved to the End of the ***???

Scheduled Sears service for our garbage disposer two weeks ago for yesterday between 1-5 pm. Nothing at 6 pm . Called and told it has changed to 8:45-10:45 PM! Tech finally called 8:30 pm and said too late. We'd have to reschedule. Rescheduler said next available is one & one-half weeks out. Sorry, but YOU missed the appointment and you should not put us at the back of the ***. We should be FIRST on the NEXT day. Sear's service scheduling practices are horrible. They have no concept of good (or even satisfactory) customer service. We've done our last business with this sorry company.
