That's the new scam---shipping via UPS to the local post office and then hoping the USPS will deliver it expeditiously. It rarely works as the USPS is unreliable. Just pass the word around to avoid Sears for anything.

Sears in Erie, Pennsylvania - I Mattress

We paid $2,214.00 for this horrible Mattress and within 6 mths our King sized bed had a divot on each side and the side of the bed is sagging where I sit on the side of the bed I only weigh around 200b and my wife 110 both sides failed just after our 120 day return time. This Mattress is awful stay away!! It is supposed to be made with Gel Foam And springs to prevent the sagging divots but all this does is allow the pillow top to not show the divots when know one is in the bed but as soon as you lie down your body sinks but not your legs to make this bed BAD FOR YOUR BACK & NECK!!!

No wonder Sears lost $500 million last quarter

With products and service like this it's no wonder. My 7 month old Craftsman (which is really a Husqvarna) won't start. It has Smart Switch (keyless ignition) so you can't bypass the switch . I spent over an hour on the phone with technical assistants and they decided,which I already knew, that the problem was the switch.Now the problems begin, they set up an appointment , 12 days away mind you and it's time to put pre-emergent on my 3 acres of front yard, for a technician to come out between 8 to 5 and you must be there. They were supposed send an e-mail with a service # so I could check on the progress, they didn't. I *** work and waited all day but the tech never called so I called Sears at 5:30 and said the appointment time had changed to between 6 and 8. At 8:10 pm I called and asked if someone was really going to come out and they said the tech was on his way and should be there in 10 to 20 minutes. Guess what , THEY LIED !!! At 9:00 I called Sears again and they said I may have to reschedule. I did reschedule and had to wait another week. I called the customer resolution center because I felt I should be put at the top of the list since it wasn't my fault the tech didn't show. They told me they couldn't do that. If I wanted a service tech to come out it would be a week away. But they did send me a $50 check for my inconvenience and losing a day of work . Whoopee $50 bucks. I also asked if they would send me the ignition switch so it would be here when the tech got here. She said she didn't have a part number (the part number is on their parts website, she could have looked it up) The tech pulls onto my street at 4:15 and sits there until 4:35 , I know this my dogs barked all the time he was sitting there. He checks things out and tells me it's the ignition switch. Da !!! But he didn't have one , he have to order it but would have shipped to my address and I could put it in. It comes, doesn't work so I sit here with a $4000 pile of metal waiting another 18 days before any one will come out

Customer service is a joke! What a waste of time. Simple repair of hinges on a stove were unsuccessful. Claims about "professional technicians" should be illegal. When I explained to customer service it was like going in one ear and out the other. Sent email, they didn't even read it. BE AWARE! They are scam artists. Will never buy Sears or any components licensed by their company again.

I recently purchased a pair of mens jeans from sears. The next day my husband tried them on and of course they did not fit,they were about 2 sizes too small. They def. do not run true to size. We kept tags on and put reciept in pocket and placed them in bag. Since we are about 45 min to any sears store it was a little while before i could return them. Today I went to sears to just that. I was told since it was 5 wks they could not be returned. I am furiou and now i know why I do most of my shopping at pennys and kohls. After about 30 min I left the store still carrying my pants that are of NO use. If this is the policy you should be told when handed your receipt. I am telling everyone I know to not shop sears and I am not planning on shopping there again.

Aw, everyone has a 30 day return/exchange police. Its on the front of the receipt.

I have learned over the years to never buy a man a pair of pants!! Make him go himself/or offer to go with him.

This way he can't *** @ u about anything!! But remind him that if this is gonna turn into a *** session anyway, remind him that there are people working there to help him!!!!

We bought the Kenmore trio 2 years ago and the ice maker never worked great. Recently we had it repaired and it cost us over $400.00 to fix. Their was a gasket that was installed improperly at the factory in Mexico that allowed water to leak all over. A whole new gasket system had to be installed that wasn't installed on the original product. Also the ice tray was cracked and it was letting water run into the tray and freeze on the bottom causing a mess all the time. You can't just buy a new ice tray, you have to buy a whole new unit for $130.00. The warranty would have cost more than that so that is a moot point. All I can say is that this just shows me that they don't care about quality anymore. Just making as much money off all the consumers as they possibly can. I'll never buy a Sear's (Kenmore) product again. That's the truth!

Hot water heater Sears Kenmore: The service guy just left. Leaking water all over the floor is just fine...they do that! NO NO THEY DON'T I should hook a hose up to the relief valve....and put in a drain....NO NO NOT going to have a high water bill for running water directly down the drain. $ 169.00 to reset the computer so it is hot water that leaks instead of cold.......NOT FIXED for a lot of money. I should have not paid - sent them away with no money. Help

Sears Quality and Customer Service is at the Bottom

I'm typing this review while I'm on hold. Look at any review above one star, most have no comments or list themselves as an employee. Ordered an item as a gift. UPS lost the shipment and Sears will not ship a replacement item. Sears will only refund my payment and that will only happen after Sears settles with UPS, roughly two weeks. The quality of the Craftsman tools is deteriorating, no more Professional quality tools. If you have the Professional quality tools and need them replaced under the lifetime warranty Sears will only replace them with the regular quality tools. Customer services ranks at the bottom. I'm cancelling my Sears card. I don't expect Sears to survive.

Hi Sears shoppers. I did a sound off about my 2 jewelry layaways on March 9, 2016. Was waiting for a 24 hour phone call from District Manager. Did get a call back from Store Manager, Moorestown, NJ. We had a real conversation not a hollering match. We came to a resolution. Will see in coming week of results. Will keep you posted.
