I purchased a item online and had it shipped to the store with hopes I will receive within a few days. I purchased on a Thursday and was told it would be in store on the following Tuesday. Which didn't happen didn't receive the item till 2 weeks later. I found that very disturbing that it took that long for a comforter set to be delivered. I called daily after the expected date and was told it was processing but could never give me a date of delivery. This has been the worst experience ever with a online item. I spoke with a associate and was told that they would credit me 10% of my order which was $5.00 basically my shipping cost. Yes I said to the associate that is all $5.00 after this I will never order from Sears again. LOST A CUSTOMER....

Sears Associate Claiming $25 Discount With New Approved Sears Credit Application. I wanted two cooking pans for a total of $80 but was told a successful Sears credit application will discount $25. Sears associate charged my personal bank card $55 plus tax and secretly charged new approved Sears cards(plural) for $10 and $15 to add up to my $25 discount! Sears Citibank operator was reluctant to close account and first suggested I contact my personal bank that got charged $55 plus tax to sort out the issue??? Citibank operator claims to have cancelled both Sears cards. Pans were cheaper online anyways.

I ORDERED A CELL PHONE FROM SEARS ONLINE FEB 19 2016. THEY CHARGED MY CARD AND SENT A TRACKING NUMBER. THE TRACKING NUMBER WAS NOT VALID. I NOTIFIED THEM . THEY HAVE INFORMED ME THEY WOULD CONTACT THE 'MERCHANT' AND HAVE THEM ISSUE ME A CORRECTED TRACKING NUMBER 'IN 24 HOURS'. I DID NOT RECIEVE IT. I CALLED SEARS. I TOLD THEM I WANTED THE ORDER CANCELED. THEY INFORMED ME THEY WOULD CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION THAT WOULD TAKE 7-10 DAYS AND IF THEY FOUND 'THE MERCHANT' HAD NOT SENT THE CELL PHONE CASE THEY WOULD CREDIT MY ACCOUNT. 10 DAYS PASSED. I CALLED SEARS AND WAS INFORMED THAT 'THE MERCHANT' WOULD CONDUCT THEIR OWN INVESTIGATION AND REFUND MY MONEY 'ACCORDING TO THEIR POLICY'. THEY WILL NOT REVEAL THE IDENTITY OF 'THE MERCHANT'. THEY HAVE PROVIDED THIS UNNAMED PARTY WITH MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER. AND HAVE INFORMED ME THIS IS BETWEEN me AND SOME UNNAMED ENTITY WHICH I HAVE NOT HEARD A WORD FROM. ....GEE SUPRISE.....AND NO LONGER THEIR PROBLEM. SO IN FACT HAVE STOLEN MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AND ARE REFUSING CONTACT WITH ME.

SOOOOOOO VERY DISAPPOINTED with the delivery. Spent over $3500 on a washer and dryer....and the delivery was DEPLORABLE!!! They broke our valves, horrible hook up of the dryer, dents and scratches on our appliances, trash left in our house and on the driveway...and the customer service of the delivery was DEGRADING to say the least. NEVER AGAIN will we choose Sears. We will go with a hometown business over Sears any day!!!!

Sears in Laconia, New Hampshire - Manager needs to learn customer service skills

On Feb 20th we purchased 2 beds & a stove, when we left the store we were very happy with the pleasant service but what has happened since has been a NIGHTMARE! One of the beds was a floor model with an adjustable frame and in perfect condition when we left. A week later when they delivered it, it was broken beyond repair. My husband went to the store that afternoon and was told they would locate one or order us a new one, that was Feb 29th. On March 11th we went into the CONCORD NH store and when we finally spoke to the manager JOSH WEST, he was extremely rude and rolled his eyes while I was speaking to him. We just want our bed, the second bed we bought which once again we still have issues with, the box spring is labeled wrong so the extra long full size box spring is marked that but is actually a queen size. They need to resolve these issues, going on 3 weeks now.

That's the new scam---shipping via UPS to the local post office and then hoping the USPS will deliver it expeditiously. It rarely works as the USPS is unreliable. Just pass the word around to avoid Sears for anything.

Sears in Erie, Pennsylvania - I Mattress

We paid $2,214.00 for this horrible Mattress and within 6 mths our King sized bed had a divot on each side and the side of the bed is sagging where I sit on the side of the bed I only weigh around 200b and my wife 110 both sides failed just after our 120 day return time. This Mattress is awful stay away!! It is supposed to be made with Gel Foam And springs to prevent the sagging divots but all this does is allow the pillow top to not show the divots when know one is in the bed but as soon as you lie down your body sinks but not your legs to make this bed BAD FOR YOUR BACK & NECK!!!

No wonder Sears lost $500 million last quarter

With products and service like this it's no wonder. My 7 month old Craftsman (which is really a Husqvarna) won't start. It has Smart Switch (keyless ignition) so you can't bypass the switch . I spent over an hour on the phone with technical assistants and they decided,which I already knew, that the problem was the switch.Now the problems begin, they set up an appointment , 12 days away mind you and it's time to put pre-emergent on my 3 acres of front yard, for a technician to come out between 8 to 5 and you must be there. They were supposed send an e-mail with a service # so I could check on the progress, they didn't. I *** work and waited all day but the tech never called so I called Sears at 5:30 and said the appointment time had changed to between 6 and 8. At 8:10 pm I called and asked if someone was really going to come out and they said the tech was on his way and should be there in 10 to 20 minutes. Guess what , THEY LIED !!! At 9:00 I called Sears again and they said I may have to reschedule. I did reschedule and had to wait another week. I called the customer resolution center because I felt I should be put at the top of the list since it wasn't my fault the tech didn't show. They told me they couldn't do that. If I wanted a service tech to come out it would be a week away. But they did send me a $50 check for my inconvenience and losing a day of work . Whoopee $50 bucks. I also asked if they would send me the ignition switch so it would be here when the tech got here. She said she didn't have a part number (the part number is on their parts website, she could have looked it up) The tech pulls onto my street at 4:15 and sits there until 4:35 , I know this my dogs barked all the time he was sitting there. He checks things out and tells me it's the ignition switch. Da !!! But he didn't have one , he have to order it but would have shipped to my address and I could put it in. It comes, doesn't work so I sit here with a $4000 pile of metal waiting another 18 days before any one will come out

Customer service is a joke! What a waste of time. Simple repair of hinges on a stove were unsuccessful. Claims about "professional technicians" should be illegal. When I explained to customer service it was like going in one ear and out the other. Sent email, they didn't even read it. BE AWARE! They are scam artists. Will never buy Sears or any components licensed by their company again.
