I purchased a refrigerator and was expected to receive it in 7 days on a Saturday. I felt like it was too long for not having a fridge at home but I got a good deal so decided to deal with having no fridge for a week. The day off expecting my refrigerator I got a call saying my fridge was lost and would not be delivered. I do not understand how a 300 pound fridge gets lost. I did not get answers and was told to call costumer service on Monday. I canceled my order and went to Lowes, purchased the same refrigerator and was delivered the next day.

Yeah! I had an experience with Sears

On Black Friday I purchased a steam washer and dryer. They told me it would take a week to deliver. I told them no problem as I was going a week. Two weeks late I called and they have almost no idea about what I am talking about. I could have been talking to a cardboard box. 2 Weeks Later they called with the delivery, it's an electric dryer not gas. Could have been my mistake. In either case call them back again. We don't have it we will get it next week. That was about the middle-End of January. No calls no news nothing. Literally been to the store 3 Times spoke to the sames salespeople even the same salesperson. Originally it was like speaking with "three-monkeys." I didn't see anything,I didn't hear anything and I never said that. Beginning of this week down there again and was told "the only thing we can do is sell you a new one." ($200.00 more). That would be over my dead body, get a manager, who says we will do the right thing says I will have it in a couple of days. Amazingly two days later driver calls and says "I have it and I am coming by." NEVER SHOWS. An hour ago called again doesn't remember calling before says "I am coming by." Waiting Now...remind me with all the companies that I can be buying these items from why I would buy anything from these fools. I grew up with SEARS shopped there with my family since I was small. Lately, I hear they are going under. I own a business...if that business was suffering I would be carrying products on my back to your home to retain my job and your loyalty. You get what you give boys and never say it was unfair. People are complaining all over the web. Some businesses belong in China.

Sears in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Jumper cables

A few years ago I bought Sears next to top of the line jumper cables. Never needed them until yesterday. Turns out the blue casing dried up and completely brittle easily falling off making extremely dangerous to use. The black casing is fine but it is made of rubber unlike the blue cable which may have been plastic casing. I will attempt to get some credit for it today and they are willing I will update this but I heavily suggest you don't buy this product.

Sears - Review in Supermarkets and Malls category from Concord, California

I've only been working at Sears for 5 months but I'm done. I'm mentally and emotionally drained. At first the hours were great but now they suck and aren't enough to live off of. I knew going in that credit was going to be a big thing but I wasn't prepared to be insulted and threatened by an assistant manager because of it. I know my credit isn't the best but I try my best everyday, some days it's harder to get even one credit. I was threatened by an assistant manager in the sense that he said I was going to lose my job if I didn't get credit. I felt insulted, attacked and humiliated, even belittled. I should have to deal with that from anyone, no one should.

Sears in Southfield, Michigan - Was once a great company.

Does anyone from Sears read the comments on this site? After five minutes of reading, I know that I will never buy another thing from Sears. Customer service is at an all time low. I found this site to complain about service, but realize that they just don't care how bad they are or how they are perceived by the public. It is time to say goodbye and close up shop. now I'm told that there are not enough words in my text and I have to add to this to publish. Sad!

Sears in Atlanta, Georgia - Refund for Damage Refrigerator

In June 2015 I purchased a Refrigerator and Stove from them the first delivery the Refrigerator was broker ...I was replaced two week later after a month i notice it was no freezing correct i call and got an operator that gave me bad informatation after getting so one out they gave me also didn't know how to fix after about 8 or more coming out they say they would replace it. The is 5 months in but only what i paid for it so i ask for my money back the refused but the only way i can get the same refrigerator is to pay the for (it was on sale) for the same one when it was there mistake not mine ...what do i do mantitan@yahoo.com

Today we had a trash masher delivered. We were notified on-line the delivery would be between 9am and 11am and we would receive a call first thing in the morning. There was no call. I did notice that the call # was our cell phone. When we purchased it I specifically told the Sales Rep that we did not get cell service at our house and to use our home phone. since it was 10:30 and we had received no call I was a little nervous that we were not going to get it before 11. They did show up at 11:07. That is not that bad but when the door bell rang my husband answered the door and I went around to the garage to open the garage door. I did hear your delivery person say "where do you want me to drop it" There was no hi how are you? sorry we are a little late, no greeting at all. By the time I came out of the garage Which maybe 1 minute later my husband was all upset because all they were going to do leave it in the garage. All the man could say is we just deliver we don't install. When we purchased it we were told they would unpack it and put in place. My husband has had 4 back surgeries in 1 year and has terminal cancer. I'm almost 70 and there is no way for us to move it. We never would have purchased it if we had known you didn't even unpack the product. He told me I shouldn't let him answer the door and started jumping around' throwing his hands in the air, yelling I just can't take this abuse I'll just take it back. To say he was over reacting is an understatement. I just told him I'm sorry my husband yelled at him but he didnt feel good and frustrated because we told different, that yes it would be unpacked.he was such a HOT HEAD. I told him and I never once raised my voice that go ahead take it back and I will just deal with it. So the driver got out of the truck and he seemed to calm down a bit. They then took off the packing and put in the laundry room which is about 5 ft from inside the garage. That took 5 minutes. I still would not have written this except when they left I said Thank-You and all they did is turn their backs to me and grunt. As far as I'm concerned the one man needs anger management and should maybe work in a warehouse and not any place near the public. We just had Dish TV and an appliance repair man the day before and they were so nice. What a shock to have to deal with this rude angry young man. I really would not want to buy anything else from Sears. There are to many other places that value their customers and would make sure that their employees are don't treat people like that.

just to be aware of the quality of service the delivery drivers are giving and make sure the sales rep doesnt promise to have product unpacked and put in place when these drivers only want to leave in the garage

Sears in Apopka, Florida - Text discount of $10 off $20

I went to the Merritt Island Florida Sears strore in the Merritt Square Mall to purchase $25 in tools and I had a text that said i could take $10 off $25 purchase by 2/13/2016. The cashier refused the sale as she said it was good on line only. The text said nothing about on line only. A kid that said he was a supervisor, looked 12 years old named Travis came out and looked as tho he had just woke up, rude, arogent, and said no, we will not honor your text message in this store. When I asked him to have his manager call me, he said, that is not going to happen. No wonder Sears, KMart is going bankrupt. there were only 3 people in the entire Sears store today. I ordered some corelle dishes from Sears. Two months have gone by and no merchandise. At first, I was notified by sears that a tracer had been initiated and it appeared my package had been delivered to the wrong person. I finally called Sears customer service and was told the order had been cancelled and a refund check was issued. Reason for cancelled order was it was out of stock. Poorest service I have experienced, never will shop at Sears again.
