SEARS NIGHTMARE

I received a new stove from Sears through my home warranty. The stove was delivered on the 11th of December and installed on the 17th. Upon completion of the installation, the installer turned on the stove and the entire unit shorted out. Since then I have spoken to at least 20 different people at Sear's trying to get a new unit for Christmas. I was given the run around and needless to say my Christmas dinner was ruined as no stove. I was promised delivery today the day after Christmas. I just phoned and was told my delivery was canceled on the 22nd and rescheduled. Again, NO notification. I canceled my plans for today because I was expecting delivery. I have used Sears for 40 years. I will NEVER use them again after this nightmare.

Sears - Progo Scooter Review from Cape Coral, Florida

I spent $400 for a scooter for my son and paid extra for shipping not only did I call them 5 times but every time they did the same to me and gave be reference numbers and gave me the runaround just to get off the phone. Well here it is Christmas Eve and the scooter is not here and now has a delivery date January 5th. And the only reason I got that answer is I contacted the manufacturing company myself. It won't ruin Christmas by any means but Sears is a *** company this explains why they are closing their stores one after another

Sears is the WORST COMPANY EVER!!! they are incompetent from the moment you purchase your order! I spent 3 days on the phone with them (1 day for 5 hours) only to be told my item could not be exchanged and that I'd have to wait 10 days for a refund! Each department told lies and gave me different information (home delivery, online support, case managers etc.). Representatives even gave me fake reference numbers just to get me off the phone and make me believe something was going to happen. I hope they go out of business asap! I will be writing formal letters to their corporate offices.

Order a recliner from sears online was told that is was going to arrive by12-23-15.

Come to find out via email updates a company name demar was going to deliver my recliner but according to demar I wasn't even schedule for a delivery which was contrary to my email confirmation from sears. Lack of communication why am i scheduling a delivery when all that was confirmed when i ordered the chair.

If i never would'v e called demar my chair would never be scheduled to be delivered now on 12-28.

Waited all day in vain!!!!!! Customer service is a joke all the sorrys does not make my chair come on the 23rd.

Sears - Pants Review from Detroit, Michigan

The sales clerk ordered a item for me and it was sent to a Sears store in a different state instead of my home .... two different times in one week .... Pennsylvania and Illinois .... I live im Michigan. Both stores called me to let me know that my package was ready for pickup .... It will just be waiting !!!! I just started going back there to shop. Humm, rethinking it now. But Merry Christmas anyway.

ive had a nightmare experience also here in Dec 2016 with ordering online. I made a purchase and within 5 minutes tried to cancel it and they refused saying it had shipped already...this is a garage door opener and installation ordered online on a Saturday.

was put on hold for over 1 hour. I hadnt even received a confirmation email of the purchase yet...someone there had realized that i was trying to cancel and put a rush on it.. wasnt supose to be delivered for 7 to 10 days but now suddenly theyre trying to deliver it on tuesday...Thank goodness for UPS..they refused to pick it up from warehouse...now lets see how long before i get my money back. Never use searsonline....i felt like i was in the middle of a scam.

when i tried to reach someone in corporate i was hung up on. wow....no wonder they are going under.

Custermer service doesnt exist with them any longer.. good bye sears and kmart....

Sears lack of ownership on sears.com products they fulfill through partners

Same experience. I bought an LG microwave on sears.com. Well turns out they actually turn around and order it from a partner. A day later I wanted to cancel it. They informed me they would have to contact the partner. Two days later Sears informed me that the partner ebuzz apparently shipped it out before Sears contacted them. So I call customer service to get a return auth and got two different stories. One said I could return to the store the other gave me the number to the partner. After a trip to the store I find out that Sears pretty much washes their hands of the order once it gets shipped to their partner and shipped to the customer. Now they say I can't return this to them and I need to call the partner directly. These crooks, ebuzz want to charge me a restocking fee + shipping. There was absolutely no mention of this in any of the order confirmations or on their website. I am frustrated beyond belief. I can't see how a company can run a web site, offer products and then wash their hands of ownership when it comes to the return process.

Sears - Kitchenaid Dishwasher Review from Sherwood, Oregon

After buying an 800 plus dollar dishwasher Sears was not concerned with my sadisfaction. It leaked after install, so I pulled it out, checking my connections. then it did it again damaging my wood floors I called and they explained that a 6 week old dishwasher wasn't covered even though the problem was intermittent in nature. If it were my connections it would have happened every time. After many heated discussions they called and offered to pick it up or repair it. I said it would be fine to repair it but it needed to happen befor the holidays. They said they could do this then called to cancel the repair appointment after I took time off work. I tried to reschedule before the holidays but they were unable. I then asked them to pick it up as they said they would and I was told it would be another 3 to 5 days to schedule a undeterred pick up time. So I loaded it up myself and took it to Sears and said they could schedule the pick up time from their dock not my house as I need to buy one somewhere else. In the process I placed over15 calls and got injered loading it up keeping me out of work for what looks like two weeks. To say this is the worst customer expereance I've ever had puts it mildly. All Sears had to do was the right thing, and have a sadisfied healthy customer. This is currently being disputed Through the credit card company as it seems no one at Sears is authorized to do much. They had so many ways to make this right. I have been a life long customer, consisted Sears as a go to place for certain thing. I'm finding that has changed. The faith I have in the retailer is how I chose where to shop.

The sears H2 front loader is the worst machine ever! We have a contract, but you have to wait two weeks for a repair man. Then, they cannot fix it! So, another two weeks at the laundromat! Four weeks at the laundromat is far too long for someone that has a washing machine and a contract! And, they have to send parts to your house, so the mail comes into play! No one will forward me to management. I called 10 people to complain and Mike's, from customer service, response was, "Well what do you want us to do? Move you up on the list? Everyone is waiting for service!" Do not get a sears product, and never, ever get their service contract! I am going out to buy a new machine right now! It will not be a SEARS product!

Sears in Nottingham, New Hampshire - Delivery disaster

I ordered a sofa and recliner online. The items were to be delivered, set up, and the old items removed. Sears promised a phone call or email to me prior to delivery. Two days ago I found the recliner in a box on my porch. The color on the box was the wrong color and it required "adult assembly". I am 70 years old. Yesterday a truck arrived with the sofa. There was only one very small man to bring it in. He could not. I did not get a notification prior to that delivery either. Of course I tried all the numbers given from different specialists. No one could help me.

I purchased a $1,000 plus Kenmore Elite dishwasher from Sears. It has flooded out my house twice in two years. In defense of Sears their insurance company will have paid out over 12k to fix my floors and kitchen. What doesn't make any sense is that they will not replace the dishwasher and want me to pay to have it fixed again. Why should I have to pay to have the dishwasher fixed again when the same exact part has failed twice and flooded out my house twice? It was not properly fixed the first time. There is something else wrong in the dishwasher that is making the pump fail twice in under two years. Sears suggest that I buy a new dishwasher but I don't think it is reasonable to spend $500 per year for a dishwasher that has flooded my house twice and caused over 12k in damage.
