Sears - Kenmore Elite Dishwasher Review from Villa Park, Illinois

We bought all new Kenmore Elite appliances for our kitchen, and also a washer and dryer. The only non-Elite is the convection microwave, and that is a GE, as I wanted to stay with Advantium, which is what Kenmore used to have. So far I have had visits on everything Elite except the dryer. They have had to replace both the washer and the range. The dishwasher has had 3 visits, and the guy just left after refrigerator visit #2. Mind you, this was brand new in March. The first technician hadn't a clue what was wrong with it and just melted off the icebergs that had grown. They are now back, and this tech said it is the board for the fridge causing it to not defrost as it should. Don't they test these things? I guess it is just cheaper to manufacture whete they do, but how much is doled out on repair visits and parts! The fan is so iced over it can't run, and the ice maker won't work. The temp in the fridge is only like 50 degrees. So he ordered a new one. Yay, it is Christmas in 8 days and I have massive cooking to do. I am so PO'd right now. I believe I have had 13 or 14 visits between all these appliances, not counting all the deliveries of the replacements. No wonder Sears is in trouble. I wouldn't recommend a Kenmore Elite to my worst enemy.

Sears review in Bowling Green, Kentucky: No one knows what the *** is going on..!

I set up a layaway in Sept. and was told that as soon as final payment was made I would receive my product... On 12/7 I made my final payment .. today is 12/16 and no one can tell me when my lawn mower will be available for pick up! what!? I have been to this store around 4 times and have been told it should be here on Wednesday then on Friday then again on Wednesday.. Well how is it that neither employees nor managers can figure this out.. people it is simple ,I paid in Full! Give me my product NOW! I paid almost 500. was never able to use any rewards nor coupons because it was a layaway and now I have to BEG you people to get me my product! to top it all off ... managers are not available .. or at least store managers are not available until after 2:30pm.. What a crock! So then I receive a call from a "manager" and he tells me he is working on this and should know something in an hour! its been over an hour and nothing! The service sucks!

Christmas holidays is not the time to cut back on hiring employees to help customers. I needed to ask a question about a certain item, but would have to wait in check out line in order to talk to someone. No one on floor just to help. When I did finally want to purchase some items, the wait to check out was approximately 35-40 minutes. Two employees waiting on hugh amount of customers. All those in line were not very happy with the wait as neither was I. Probably will not shop at Sears again during the holidays.

Horrible experience. The dryer I ordered was not delivered for 8 consecutives days. Each time I was confirmed, was waiting and had to call to learn I was confirmed for the day after without any apology by asian associates. I believe Sears is not handling their deliveries neither the customer service. Long story short after 10 days and more stress too long to describe they charged me 270 dollars instead of 50 dollars sayingvthey could not refund prior to delivery? I had the store manager to request full refund. I will never ever order anything from Sears. For sure! I am now on my way to Best Buy to order my dryer.

I kept getting emails from Sears saying I had $25 in surprise points so I finally decided to use them. While trying to place an order online the points would not show up so I called Sears and was told I did have these points and I could place the order on the phone. I ended up ordering 3 different shirts, a pair of slacks and a pair of PJs for my Grandson's Christmas gift and had them shipped directly to him in another state. I purchased $35 worth to avoid a shipping fee. It took about an hour to make the order... I should have read the writing on the wall then and not ordered! About 5 to 10 minutes later I get a confirmation email for the order. The slacks were not ordered at all. They also had ordered 2 of one shirt and another shirt was sent to the correct street address but wrong state! I immediately called and was told there wasn't anything they could do about it. They said once the order is placed it's unstoppable. They knew they made the mistakes but it was now MY problem. The shirt that was sent to the wrong state would probably be sent back to them and if it was I could contact them for a refund. If I wanted the slacks I would need to pay full shipping rates on them and the 2 shirts just alike? Go stand in line at the store and get my money back! So much for the ease of shopping online. Since that time I have spent hours on the phone and chat trying to just get the shirt that was sent to the wrong state shipped out correctly but they will not do that. They want me to order it and pay as much for shipping as the shirt costs and trust them to refund the shipping fee. Ha! I was told once they were crediting my card for the full amount of the shirt but after waiting a week they credited me .78 cents and put the rest in an online account I can use. It's funny the PJs were only given a 3 cent discount but the shirt they mailed incorrectly was credited almost completely. I could go on about all the things they said they would do but didn't, how totally uncaring they are, etc. but I'm fed up! Let them keep the $7. They must need it. I will never, ever, buy another item from them. EVER!!

SEARS BLOWS CHRISTMAS JOY FOR FAMILY SURPRICE****************************** Well our first major disappointment for Christmas. We made the mistake of trusting SEARS appliances. We my sisters and I and our spouses decided we would get mom a new oven for Christmas. We did all the right things my oldest sister Dale covertly made sure we got just the right model. Mom bakes cakes and decorated so it had to be big enough for big cake panes. anyway a long story short. My wife Terri made the older and I heard her tell the gal on the other end all the needed details to make it a surprise.they should have called my sister to arrange the drop date and time, they did not, they should have installed it, they did not, they should have hauled off the old stove, they did not. instead some third party vendor shows up at moms house and dump the new stove in her kitchen said o we don't install gas oven and we cant take the old one because it not disconnected. so at 8:00am this morning moms new oven that was to be a surprise shows up and dumped in her kitchen. Thank SEARS for blowing our moms Christmas surprise. Oh by the way when I called the store were we got it they end up saying sorry it was the third party vendors fault. HEY SEARS YOU SUCK. feel free to pass this along to as many folks as you can. Sear uses third party vendor for installs and hauling they do not disclose that to you. even when you ask.

Sears craftsman table saw complaint

I have a Sears craftsman table saw that is approximately 30 years old. I have been trying to replace the arbor nut without success. (the nut holds the blade on the spindle) Apparently Sears has created its' own threads on the spindle as it is not standard and no local bolt company has been able to duplicate it. The heck of it is, friends have given me the nut off of their Craftsman saws and theirs won't fit either. Yet the nut off my neighbors saw screws onto my saw just fine. I went to our local Sears store and talked with the service people there. They found that to order the nut, it would cost over nine dollars and shipping would cost over fifteen dollars! And that is if they even had it! Even they were flabbergasted! Doesn't Sears want to stay in business anymore? The competition is getting tougher all the time. I can describe how I feel in three words; frustration and disappointment. Sears, please respond.

I ordered a Rivers Edge Brand item 089v006839749000 and the order was placed by your Kaitlynn [machine] and a order # was given 963798987. Two days went bye and received an E mail out of stock. Contacted customer service and your Carlisle [machine] said item was in stock and took the order again 964570381 and all i can find out about delivery on the stated date of the 21st. is that the order is being processed. Is the item really in stock??? Am i going to receive it??? Has a credit been issued on my first order and if not when will it show up??? What is the shipment tracking number???
