Sears LG fridge broke after less than 2 years old. Spent $3k on this fridge. Called Sears, 2 appointments later that the tech showed early and left. Still no fridge after 3 weeks. They outsource their manufacturing and customer service. China made junk they charge top dollar then try to sell you a worthless warranty. Sears needs to be investigated for fraud. This company used to be known for quality and high standards. They now have no standard of service. Oh and the over the oven microwave stopped working 7 weeks ago. Poor products and horrible business ethics. Never will shop Sears again.

Sears in Saint Louis, Missouri - Refrigerator not fixed after five attempts

The first time a repair man came out and ordered parts, the second time two weeks later not all the parts came in, the third time he came out and didn't check to see if it would work after he put the new parts n the fourth time out he ordered another part, the fifth time he never showed up at all and I waited all day, no phone call nothing, I had to call Sears. Now I'm expected to spend a sixth day waiting all day probably and not until the 11th of Nov. this is NOT EXCEPTABLE! They should be here first thing tomorrow but no the Superviser said that would not happen. So in other words sit on it and wait, wait, wait. This is a very bad business to deal with their customers this way.

Sears in Sacramento, California - My more than $2000 Fridged lasted barely 16 months!

The title really says it all but here is to hoping sears is OUT OF BUSINESS soon, and the world will no longer has to deal with their terrible customer service, terrible house brand products (KENMORE ELITE) which I was duped into purchasing (actually a cheap LG model there is no Kenmore brand). We purchased a $4000+ kitchen suite from Sears (Fridge, DW, Range, top of the line vent). In the first year, while there was an honest-to-goodness-warranty that Sears was honoring! We had them out twice for the fridge, and once for the dishwasher also supposidly their top of the line model). The warranty expired and now a few months out of warranty we are SCREWED. So here I am about to pay a few hundred dollars to fix something that is not even two years old. So we have esentially paid $125 per month for the privlage of using a fridge that is far inferior from the previous model we purchased in 1999 (WHICH IS STILL GOING STRONG IN MY GARAGE THANK GOD!) FEAR SEARS! FEAR KENMORE!

Sears - Repair Review from Delray Beach, Florida

I purchased a 30 gallon water heater from Sears 3 years ago which is leaking at the connection pipes inside the heater! Called Sears they sent out a repair tech who told me what I already knew the heater had to be replaced! Sears did replace the heater but then charged me a 80 dollar service fee! My wife and I are both disabled So see thought she could save me some trouble so asked how much it would be to install it! SIX HUNDRED AND CHANGE! This heater took me 20 minutes to install 3 years ago! This is so wrong their faulty product and charge me a service call which took all of 1 minute for him to tell me it had to be replaced! Which I knew! Again big corporation taking advantage of the comsumer! I should have never been charged the service fee of 80.00 for a one minute service! Big business screwing the little guy! I'm in my fifties when I grew up Sears was THE STORE to go to! No more just another money hungry corporation that does my care!

Tried to speak with sears about an issue with a product and here's what they respond with on twitter.... to me they don't care about their customers just worried about the MONEY $$$$$ What can I do then. Sears : No Help in the U.S. - Nightmare Customer Service

Horrible service! Luxury rental. Renter arrives in 2 days. I paid to have old washer dryer hauled away. Driver left the old appliances in the kitchen. Nobody at Sears can have it removed for 4 or 5 days. I live 1,000 miles away so I can't drive over there and remove them. Renter is paying big money to rent this unit. They will have to walk around the old washer dryer in the kitchen for 2 to 4 days. Hours on the phone today... Many calls... Almost every call is routed to the Philippines (sounds like). The reps are not allowed to tell me what country they're in. Won't provide a phone number for corporate in the U.S. What happened to this company? This is a customer service nightmare.

I'm with you! Our Kenmore washer of 18 months old is now spitting oil everywhere and the $99 home review resulted in nothing we can do about it.

Kenmore sucks, Sears sucks!

We are moving out of state soon and the washer will end up being left behind as a boat anchor. Just another reason Sears is going under.

I bought a high end Kenmore washer and dryer from Sears in Modesto, CA and have had nothing but problems with it and the customer service I received over the phone; both from the customer service agent(s) and floor supervisors who put me on hold numerous times for over 15 min. & more than twice was 'accidentally' disconnected me. I bought a 5.3 washer and it has never even covered the smallest amount of clothes with water-it has damaged over $200.00 in clothes to date; and when I told the cust. svc. people that they assured me by my calling before the 30-day refund date (I called 10/14 and the 30 days would have been on the 15th) that I had no worries about returning the washer if in fact they were to send a tech out to fix it & I still wasnt satisfied--totally DISHONEST. I want this issue resolved; please contact me....

I say sure, but have to agree to the pissed of customer term of services & agreement before I can submit my comment or what "you" ask if I'd like to turn into a review. It has been resolved. Please let other's know that if they buy a craftsman *** wacker that they do not repair them instead they will exchange them for a brand new one. We didn't deal with the Sears in Port Richey we went to the Sears in Tampa which everyone has great and helpful.

Sears in Auburndale, Massachusetts - Sales and delivery errors

Ordered a stack able washer/dryer from Seas Natick, MA. Purchased installation which was unnecessary. After purchase received call from electrical contractor saying they could not pick up the washer from the store as directed by Sears and that somehow this was my problem to straighten out. Called the store and was told a manager would return my call shortly, no on ever called despite repeated calls by me. I returned to the store and had to re do the entire sale over an hour of hanging around. My sales slip was correct except that I was charged for an installation that wasn't needed. They then tried to deliver to the wrong address . It took multiple calls to update the address. Still waiting for delivery and the overcharge is still on the sales slip. The only reason I went to Sears was they are the only ones selling a washer/dryer that size. No one else does 24 inches. I wouldn't dare buy a warranty from Sears as past experience has show them incapable of repair. Last year I has a tenant who had an inappropriate interaction with a Sears tech (hostile beyond belief) and I can no longer allow Sears on that property despite multiple Sears products.

Update Sears finally delivered but the overcharge for the unessessary installation remains. They can keep the $40 too much aggrivation to collect.
