Why SEARS keeps rejecting this review- AWFUL QUALITY!!! TY PENNINGTON STYLE Mayfield 4 Pc. Deep Seating Set. I bought the four piece set 3 years ago and after the second year showed issues . I loved this furniture until the woven materials became extremely brittle and is now falling off of the frames and is going to the curb tomorrow morning only after 3 years of very little use. The set was under a covered porch which only received the morning sun. We are very very disappointed. I would not recommend this product. SEARS did nothing about it and they asked me to call the manufacturer,the manufactured told me it has only one year warranty and they would not send me the replacement parts even if I paid for. Believe me don't buy it or you will regret it later, is not even worth 200 dollars. I will stay away from SEARS and TY PENNINGTON PRODUCTS THEY BOTH DON'T CARE FOR THE AFTER SERVICE. Mario

I purchased an electric range on 10/29/15 and was suppose to be installed on 11/3/15. The day before scheduled delivery/installation the installation company called that my range cannot be found. So, after spending days on the phone and getting transfered to various departments trying to find my range - with no success, I had had enough. I drove to the Sears I made the purchase and spoke to a manager... he was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. He spent the day researching and tracking my order. He called that he had found my range. It was FINALLY installed on 11/11/15. Installation team was wonderful - however, the oven lite did not work. Again I get on online and chat with a service representative - he referred me to the home delivery dept, they referred me to a Installation Specialist and she set up an appt with a service tech. This purchase has been a total nightmare dealing with Sears. Passing the buck seems to be a reaL talent that have. I have bought Kenmore appliances for 40 years and this is the worse customer service I have evert had.

Had 1st delivered 9/15/15. Delivery guys came in an took old one out in the yard. They then unloaded new one from truck and unwrapped it. New one had three dents in the refrigerator side door. They said I should accept it and they would bring a new one. We refused. They called their rep who offered us $150, $250, and $350 sears gift cards to accept as is. We refused. She spoke very broken english and was hard to understand. She then says new one will be delivered Sat 9/19/15. I told her I would need to get back to her and she hung up on me. They put frig back on truck and left. We went to leave a little later and there was styrofoam, latex gloves, paper and a large bolt left in our driveway. We were able to accept delivery 9/19 and Frig was delivered. This time they unloaded first and we inspected exterior which didn't show any problems. One of the delivery crew asked to see where frig would go and we showed him it was replacing our current frig and old frig was to go to basement. It immediately said we are not taking it to basement even though we were told by salesman it would be. I then told him to put the new back on the truck and we would go elsewhere for a frig. They then agreed to move it. After it was hooked up and they left my wife and I took all shelves and drawers out of frig side to clean. We noticed that the deli bin had 4 scratches on the front and there was several yellowed lines on the interior cabinet. I called the store and was told the salesman and manager were both on vacation for a week and to call customer service. Again we have to speak to someone you can't understand and we feel doesn't care. One salesman at the store said we could get a 10% discount on frig but we had to go to store after second one was delivered. We doubt that will happen based on our experience with Sears to this point. He also told us to contact the delivery people and see if they could compensate us for the inconvenience. They told us us we would get a $80 sears gift card within 48 hrs by email. After a week later and probably 6 phone calls we have not received the gift card and were told several different reasons why not. Called the store again and both salesman and Mgr were still on vacation. Was told a person named Russ would be the one to offer options related to the second damaged frig. Have left a message for him twice with a coworker and he has not returned call after 2 days. Everyone we have dealt with refers you to someone else. They all want you to believe they care. We will be returning this piece of junk as soon as we get new one from different vendor. By junk I mean the yellowing, scratches, loud humming, and pitiful ice maker. Moral of story, drive as fast as you can by Sears if you are looking for appliances. On second thought if you need anything. There is a reason why Sears is close to going under and we just experienced it.

Wish I had read the consumer reviews before purchasing from Sears on-line. Worst retail experience ever. Too many departments, no internal communication and annoying scripted responses. Waited weeks for a $2000,00 credit for a cancelled purchase and when called to check on it found out that it was never processed and I have to wait for someone to call me back to confirm... In a couple of days!!! Wtf... then another 10 days to get the refund?

SEARS NIGHTMARE

I received a new stove from Sears through my home warranty. The stove was delivered on the 11th of December and installed on the 17th. Upon completion of the installation, the installer turned on the stove and the entire unit shorted out. Since then I have spoken to at least 20 different people at Sear's trying to get a new unit for Christmas. I was given the run around and needless to say my Christmas dinner was ruined as no stove. I was promised delivery today the day after Christmas. I just phoned and was told my delivery was canceled on the 22nd and rescheduled. Again, NO notification. I canceled my plans for today because I was expecting delivery. I have used Sears for 40 years. I will NEVER use them again after this nightmare.

Sears has been out to fix my 10 month old fridge six visits later it is still not fixed. One of the repair man said it needs to be replaced . my warranty calls for 4 visits automatic replacement . All i have gotten from sears is a big run around . All I get from the repair man is a big run around. Please dont do business with Sears. They are not your grandmas Sears any more . Terrible service and satisfaction.

On August 13, 2015 I purchased a silver and diamond bracelet for my mother’s birthday from Sears. I had it shipped to her address. The bracelet was only $122 after the sale, a coupon and my rewards points. I received a notice from Sears that the bracelet had been delivered on her birthday August 17th. On the 20th I contacted my mother to ask how she liked her bracelet. She informed me that she had not received it. I contacted Sears about the missing bracelet. The customer service person said he would launch an inquiry as to where the bracelet was. He asked if I would like to reorder the bracelet, only now the sale was no longer available, I no longer had the coupon, and all my rewards points had been used so, the bracelet would now be $972.99. No was my answer. This is the email I received the day after my complaint.

Notice that the check was said to have been issued on the same day I received notice that the bracelet was delivered. And, when I received the check, it was for $126.70 and was dated on the 20th.

Also on August 17th, my Sears order history shows that there was a return for 4 items at $297.12, in a store in Gaithersburg, MD 20877. I have never been to Maryland, and besides the bracelet listed as returned, the other 3 items are not identified.

I was sent an email from Sears asking me to review the bracelet. I filled out the form and explained that I could not rate it as the bracelet never arrived at my mother’s. On August 29th at 10:31 AM, I received an email from Sears regarding my review of the bracelet….Here is the email heading…..

How’s that for customer service. PLEASE join me in a boycott of Sears and Kmart stores. For a company fighting to stay in business, they really do not know how to appreciate their customers!

Sears Garage Automatic Door Opener Installation Failed.

I purchased a garage door and automatic door opener for an additional $450.00 that NEVER worked from day one!!! The installer didn't know what the problem was and scheduled a service call. Two service technicians came two separate days and they also didn't know what the problem is. So now I have to manually open my garage door. I called Sears and they said they couldn’t do anything for me because the automatic door opener is installed in my garage. Really??? How about NOT charging me for it!!! I told them to come get it because it doesn’t work and because I’m not going to pay for it and they refused. Needless to say that I paid for the garage door but not for the automatic door opener because I got ZERO use out of it. I disputed the charge on my Citibank MasterCard and they cannot do anything on their end because it’s an issue with the retailer’s product. I do not complain much, but in this case I had to because I don’t want someone else having this similar problem. I do not recommend getting a garage automatic door opener installation from Sears!!!

Product in store but "not available"

I needed an attachment for my vacuum. Looked online and their website indicated that there were several in the store. When I went to the store to pick one up, there weren't any on the shelf. I asked the less than helpful cashier if there was another place they may be. "No" was the response. No response like "let me check"....just "No". I went back online, ordered it for store pickup, received a text in 5 minutes that the product was available. Went back and bought.

I bought a new refeigerater one year ago and both veg drawers handles have snapped off. Fealty plastic? Made in China?? I am so pissed!!! Not covered by warranty and $98.00 each to replace them!!! Sears, I used to be a big fan! Now I think you suck and I'll be replacing drawers every year??? Did I say, you suck???

Not buying from Sears anymore

We have been buying all our appliances with Sears for over 30 years, we bought s fridge just a year ago for 1600$ and already the compresser on it went out. I paid 300$ for someone to come fix it and we waited 2 weeks for the compresser to get here . I had to go out and buy another fridge because Christmas is coming up and we can't go without a fridge for that long, well when the guy gets here to fix our fridge he tells us they sent us a broken compresser that we waited two weeks for, now we have to wait another two weeks to get another one. I will never buy anything from Sears again, if you pay that much for something it shouldn't go out that fast.

I ordered a Rivers Edge Brand item 089v00683974**** and the order was placed by your Kaitlynn [machine] and a order # was given 96379****. Two days went bye and received an E mail out of stock. Contacted customer service and your Carlisle [machine] said item was in stock and took the order again 96457**** and all i can find out about delivery on the stated date of the 21st. is that the order is being processed. Is the item really in stock??? Am i going to receive it??? Has a credit been issued on my first order and if not when will it show up??? What is the shipment tracking number???

Poor Customer Service

I recently made 2 purchases at Sear's Charlottown for furniture. One week i purchased a sofa set in the store and the following week I purchased 2 beds by phone which the receipts were to be sent out in the mail, I haven't received anything. Both purchases were to be put on a payment plan but the sofa set wasn't . When I contacted Sear Card about this they said it had to be fixed by the store. I called the store a minimum of 10 time left messages when someone actually answered the phone. i finally spoke to the supervisor of the department whom advised me he would fix it and I had to email my receipt. he also stated he would mail my receipts and an explaination as to why the sales person didn't get back to me. He has fixed it as far as payment plan but nothing else. I email him again but no response and I still don't have my receipts for beds. I am very annoyed at the lack of service given by this store and will never buy furniture in store again.

Sears - Progo Scooter Review from Cape Coral, Florida

I spent $400 for a scooter for my son and paid extra for shipping not only did I call them 5 times but every time they did the same to me and gave be reference numbers and gave me the runaround just to get off the phone. Well here it is Christmas Eve and the scooter is not here and now has a delivery date January 5th. And the only reason I got that answer is I contacted the manufacturing company myself. It won't ruin Christmas by any means but Sears is a *** company this explains why they are closing their stores one after another
