Refrigerator foul up by sears outlet

sears customer service for the outlets is horrible. we ordered a fridge online. we never got a confirmation. the story starts with my husband getting a credit card threw sears online as sears states on there site that you can use this card immediately after you have been approved for the order you are trying to place. well that is not the story. you cannot use the card you have to wait the 7-10 days before you can physically use the card cause you need the number off the back. nice to know NOW! So we waited, lost the fridge we were looking at originally at. so the search began. well we ordered a new fridge used the new card but the site says you need to get a confirmation before your card is charged or a delivery date is made. 5 days had passed. no confirmation email. in this time our washer broke so since we didn't get the fridge we went to sears to buy a washer to use our new card with 12 months no interest. To make a long story short we went to pay for the washer and we got declined, why you ask? because we were charged for a fridge. so we called customer service to find out what was going on. We were told we got the fridge and it would be delivered to our house on August 27th. well that's awesome we got a fridge! So we bought the washer with a debit card instead of being able to take advantage of the 12 months no interest. So now its Monday and our fridge is suppose to come on Thursday. we call to get a proximity on the time as we took off work to get the fridge organized. first call we get hung up on. second call took 2 hours with a person from another country telling us we did not get the fridge we were suppose to get and they are not sure what happened. but we could order another one for the same price with a big dent on the corner. Did I mention for the same price...... So the robot on the phone just kept repeating herself saying she couldn't do anything for us except a $150 off and a $50 gift card. I work in customer service for one the $50 is absolutely no skin off there back. it costs them nothing!!!!! so we still would have to pay delivery and we will get a fridge with a monster dent in the top corner and I guess they put the cost of the dent at $150 so i wonder if I tried to get the dent fixed if it would cost me only $150? I think it would be much higher I'm sure. So for being embarrassed and declined at the sears store for a card they said had the amount of our new fridge on it and now we have no Fridge after spending 3 hours total talking to outlet customer service which by the way is not even in our country awesome for such an american company. very disappointment. When we asked the rep on the phone who else we could speak to she said no one she was the top of the food chain. If that's the case OMG that's a very bad representation of sears. All I want is the fridge I ordered for the price I ordered it at......

I was reading a horrible review of Sears and I was thinking to myself....I would think this had to be at least a two sided story if I had not dealt with Sears myself with horrible customer service issues. How many times did the service rep listen to my whole tale of woe and then in a robotic voice say, Yes, I'm sorry to hear that sir. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do to help you. Is there anything else I can do today??? Yes I would like to speak to a customer service manager... only to be put on hold and then when a gruff irritated manger gets on the phone and you begin again they HANG UP ON YOU!!! Sears is the worst retailer I have ever dealt with hands down! recently I bought a Mattress. It was to be delivered, don't laugh they said they would! We purchased a new mattress and I was contacted 5 times being told it would be delivered between 4 and 6 on Friday. This INCLUDED FRIDAY MORNING I got rid of our old mattress and got ready for the new one. They called and told us it wouldn't be there until Saturday... No place to sleep! PISSED !! Then on Saturday morning an automated call told us it wouldn't be here until WEDNESDAY!! No recourse.. I am a direct but productive person when dealing with problems and I had two customer service managers hang up on me simply because I asked them a question they didn't have an answer for. It was "What am I supposed to do until then?" This is not the first time this has happened. Also I spent all day on the phone trying to resolve this important issue and 80% of the people I spoke with I couldn't understand. When I finally did get someone that i could understand and didn't just hang up on me they just listened to my issue and said; Thanks you for you input sir... I'm sorry we cant help you... Is there anything else I can do for you?? ARGHHHHH. I finally found out that my stinking mattress was at their Kingston NH warehouse which is 3 miles from my house! ARGHHHH! We went and got it. Thanks for nothing and by the way the mattress sucks! The guy in the warehouse shool his head and worked his but off for a half hour on a hot Saturday to find our mattress. A needle in the haystack. Give him a huge raise and fire all of your customer destruction agents!

Went in to get my car inspected. They said they couldn't help me unless I had an appointment (which I did) but he assumed I didn't. And then when I went back I needed to email the guy my insurance email and he got smart with me for not understanding his email address after he rattled it off in 1 second, I of course had t have it repeated and he was very annoyed, I found out he's the manager. They called and said my car was done and I came in an hour later and they still didn't have it ready. Workers there are consistently rude and I will not ne returning.

Due to the fact Sears issued me and another shopper Mr. Hernandez the same shopyourwayrewards # I requested that they delete my info. Sears issued me a new # and assured me my previous info had been deleted. I don't know why I continue to shop at Sears..but oh well...on Tuesday August 18, 2015 I returned to Sears to redeem a text promotion I had received....at checkout I could not remember my shopyourwayrewards pin # ...the cashier then shared with me that I could login to my rewards account using my email address if I had the app on my phone...I was thrilled....unfortunately for me I inadvertently entered the email address that Sears linked with Mr. Hernandez acct ..the cashier then looked at me funny and said this is not your acct. I apologized for the error...it was very humiliating for me ..I have written to Sears several times but they refuse to delete my email from the account they have given to Mr. Hernandez. I also shared with them that they should just start over by deleting mine and Mr. Hernandez's # and start fresh due to the fact I have Mr. Hernandez info I'm sure that he has access to mine..but Sears refused.

It's a shame that 1 star is the least rating I can give. In my 37 years, I have never experienced such poor customer service as I have with Sears regarding a recent purchase. If you don't value your $$$ and love throwing it away, then, please, by all means go right ahead and shop there. I purchased a kayak from Sears online last month for pick up at the Sears Hometown Daphne, AL location. After completing the order, I received 2 separate order totals, one for $166 and change, the other for $191 and change. It was my understanding that the total would be $166, however, I was charged $191+, despite having an order total of $166 on my account on Sears website. Contacting Sears customer service proved to be absolutely futile and a complete waste of time. When requesting to speak with a supervisor, all the customer service rep does is transfer you to another rep posing as their case manager. Their call office is also located on the other side of the planet and sadly, the reps are very difficult to understand, complicating the issue even further. Thinking I would have a chance of resolving the issue at the Daphne store, I went to pick up the kayak only to be issued a receipt reflecting $217 and change. This would be the third separate order total I received and $51 more than what I thought I originally paid. I attempted to resolve the issue with the lady working in the store and all she did was throw up her hands, saying she didn't know what to do and give me a card to the same 1-800 # that I had already spent several hours with. If anything, it looks like their level of customer service, or lack thereof, is at least consistent throughout the company. I mentioned to her that I would like to return the kayak at that time and she told me that I could not do that, but would instead have to call the 1-800# and arrange for a return through them. I immediately called them when I got in the car on my way home and sure enough, they instructed me that the item had to be returned from the location where I picked it up. The lady in the store just didn't want to deal with it and like all the other Sears employees, just passed my problem off to someone else instead of taking any initiative to correct it herself. No wonder their company is in financial ruin. I attempted to post a review through the Sears Daphne hometown store website, but it mysteriously disappeared. They only have positive reviews posted through that site, which is an absolute joke. I ultimately spoke with one of the Sears reps through their chat function, who stated they would credit me back $20 to my Sears card account. I also made them put it in writing and send me an email stating that I would have the credit issued back to my account. 3 weeks later and still no credit. I decided to call them today to find out what the deal was and was told that there was a error made, on multiple occasions, and that I could not be credited back the $20 to my account, but the only thing they could do was credit me in shop your way rewards points, which I emphatically stated I did not want. They are absolutely worthless, the worst business entity I have ever dealt with and by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. It's no wonder they get a 1/10 through the consumer affairs website and horrible ratings through every other ratings agency/website out there. They don't care about their customers and flat out lie to your face. I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. I don't know what good it will do, but I've got an email from Sears stating I would be credited back the $20 to my Sears charge account. They acknowledged the email, but stated it was a mistake and there was nothing more they were willing to do about it. I have had a Sears card for 17 years, my parents since 1976 and I can say for certain that no one in my family will ever give them any business whatsoever again, and I plan on letting as many people as possible know of the clusterf**k I've had to deal with.

Sears Sucks

Washer needed repair. Couldnt fix ordered parts. 3rd part came damaged 3 times.Changed my time without calling me. I desperately need this done. Trying to schedule 2 big surgeries and this has to be done now. I have someone coming to housesit. Appointment for today was scheduled from 8 to 12. I called yesterday when part came damaged again. Dont send service, part returned. Well, these idiots send service anyway and only 1 guy.l This is a 2 person repair.Sears has horrifying customer service and delivery.High level of dont care about customers. cant come til 8-31.

I don't care how so called good of a sale that Sears state that they are having NEVER purchase from these guys!!! I had a Kenmore fridge delivered to my home on July 28,2015 from Pensacola, Florida and it was damaged in several places by the unprofessional delivery guys whom thought it was cool to talk on their bluetooths. It took almost 30 days to be poorly compensated after being lied to by their customer contact number, also being lied to by the supervisor John Goundas and then being disrespected by the exculation team that handles refunds and or compensations for customers... I have had my blood pressure raised and had even allowed myself to be tooken out of character and I have never in my life dealt with some much nonsence... Also their Whynotlease program is a scam as well... I will never spend my money at Sears or Kmart... I hope that they go out of business real soon because they lack professionalism and compassion and evidently they have people lying and covering for their own bs...

Sears did not honored the 2 year computer warranty

I bougth a computer in October 2013 and paid for a 2 year full warranty. In August 18,2015 I took my computer to the repair center in Puerto Rico and they told me they no longer repair computers . So they gave me a telephone to call (I-800-927-7836) which I did. After 45 minutes talking with the service representative they told me the warranty did not cover the repair (to fix the laptop cover right side).I told them that when I bougth the warranty for 2 year they did not informed nor gave me any document indicating that there were limitations in the warranty ,so I assumed it was a full warranty. The warranty cost was $121.99 or 34% of the computer cost of $349.99.My salescheck # is 010179020274

Sears in Kansas City, Missouri - Worst Company. Worst Customer Service.

I was lied to when we got our AC and heater installed 10 years ago. The installation tech said he put in a chimney liner and it said that as well in two places on my receipt. Now, I have had to service my heater because rust has locked up the motor. Our new technician says it's because we don't have a liner to help with proper exhaust - causing condensation. I spent over $6,000 with sears, and they are not doing anything for me now, even though the receipt reflects their was a liner installed. Satisfaction NOT GUARANTEED. Terrible company.
