Sears in Winter Park, Florida - Part order that is not available

I ordered a part that said in stock after the est.shipping date said part on backorder now it's been on backorder for 3 months and the web sight is still showing available either change your website to show on backorder or don't charge customers till the part ships.why should you have my money for months and draw interest From my money each month. That is bad business and customer relations if a thousand people ordered that part at 40.00 you now have 40,000.00 and are drawing interest on that for months or as long as you continue to say the part is on backorder. A *** is what that is.

Sears Autmotive Center - Tire warranty never valid

Bought a set of tires from Sears. Seven months later one of them explosively deflates on a straight road at 35 mph. Returned to Sears to have the tire replaced. Barry Nestor at Sears in Burlington, MA explains why Sears tire warranties do not apply to Sears tires. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwvKCTbrhos Sears warratnies are pure window dressing. You can hear the second gentleman try to sell me an "additional warranty" after denying coverage under the "primary warranty". Needless to say we no longer shop at Sears for *anything*. We used to spend about $2,500 per year there. Nicely done Sears: we will happily spend our money elsewhere!

Sears Washer- Horrible Service and Product!!

We purchased a protection plan on hopes to protect our product from any issues that may arise, boy was a wrong. We have had the technician to our house 5 times now, repairing the same issues on our washer. I have been without my washer for 7 weeks. I have a toddler who goes through tons of clothes. I am depending on family to help wash our clothes and it's just extremely stressful and a huge burden. After the technician leaves he tells us to run a full load of clothes and I do and they get ruined, the washer doesn't drain, they soak in water and smell like mildew. I am beyond frustrated. The technician also tells us to stop calling sears because it's making him look bad, are you kidding me?!? We are in a rural area, so every time we call, we have to wait 3-5 days to even get him out to our house. We had a service called scheduled today, he normally calls my # listed on the file and today he did not, he called my husbands cell that he as programmed in his phone because he has been to our house so many times. He doesn't even want to talk to me anymore- that's fine - just replace this lemon of a washer so we can resume with our lives. A couple nights ago, we were watching tv on our couch and the washer randomly turned on and smelt like electrical fire, good thing we were downstairs and was able to hear this or we could have had a house fire. Needless to say, it's unplugged from the wall now. I don't see why we are constantly having to go through these repair appointments that do not solve the problem. Apparently we have a lemon. Just to recap, here are the issues: -Washer does not drain water -Washer might soon our clothes a little and then it gets hung up -Sometimes washer doesn't spin at all -washer randomly turns on ( I have a video of this, the control panel is not on and the washer randomly turns on) -washer smells like electrical fire -washer has ruined hundred of dollars worth of clothes and towels I am begging, please help resolve this issue before I have a nervous breakdown. And I would like compensation for my clothes and towels being ruined and not to mention all of the times we have had to *** of work to be present for these service calls that go nowhere. Most definitely going to Lowes or Home Depot for all future appliances

Sears in Yonkers, New York - Gas grill

burners rusted out after 4years they have a ten year warranty which Sears will not honor unless I pay 109 dollars for a service call that I don't need will never shop Sears again but I will go to warn people about the warranties they do not honor I might even make it a weekly trip. Since I need more words for this review just want to say that you should have Sears give you something in writing with your sales slip so you won't have the same problem as I did or better yet buy somewhere your items somewhere else.

Boy what a dumb complaint re: grill! if only person would read warranty.

It is a 10 year part warranty which means labor is not that long so customer would pay sears to verify problem and pay labor but not for parts. As a sears tech this is common for a customer to not understand warranties.

Sears is no longer reliable for sale of appliances

I brought a new side by side fridge from them Thursday July 16. 2015 to be delivered Sunday which we paid extra for a Sunday delivery. They showed up Saturday and said they could not install the new fridge because the water would have to be shut off and they did not have the tool to do it with, which turns out is a pair of pliars. We were told they would return to install it on Tuesday, after calling to check on this, as it was getting late, we were told that it will not be until Wednesday. That now leaves us without a fridge for a week. I can now understand why they have had to close so many stores. I will never purchase another thing from Sears.

Sears in Massillon, Ohio - Can't get service on Maytag washer under mfgrs. warranty

Called and made appointments to fix washer we purchased five months ago. It quit working with a load of laundry sitting in soapy water and the lid locked. First time no one showed or called. Second time, after scheduling appt. In the afternoon, they show up in the morning after being told no one would be home until 3:00p.m. it has been a week and I'm told it will be another few days before we can get service. I'm sorry I bought my washer at Sears since customer service has obviously deteriorated. I will let family and friends know of my experience.

Complaint against Sears

In August of 2014, I purchased a Kenmore stovetop from Sears. On August 12th of 2014, the stove was installed by Serob Abeshyan, and I was under impression that he is working for Sears because the paperwork that I signed, on top of the paper, it said "sears". But later on, I realized that at the bottom of the paper work, written in very small, font, it said he is working for Kepco. He charged me $130 for wood fills and $57 for gas flex. This was a total of $187 charged to my Credit Card. Shortly after he was gone, I smelled gas. I contacted Serob on my cell phone and the records through T-MOBILE, show that I made a call to him and I told him that I smell a gas leak. He did come back, and he said that he fixed the problem and said that I shouldn’t have any more problems. I asked him if he has a device to check to see that if there is any smell of gas, and he said that he does not have the device, and only the gas company has the device. Meanwhile, my Wife did smell gas on and off. Before any of this installation of the stove top, I never smelled any kind of gas in my house. After changing the stove, this is when the gas smell started to occur. I had the impression that I am only dealing with Sears. I did call Sears Repair Department and I told them that there is a smell of gas. They made me aware that the stove and installation is under one year warranty. They also told me that I have nothing to worry about. Finally, I don’t know what made the smell of gas more obvious or less, so I called the Sears Repair Dept. and I told them that I smell gas clearly and asked them to send someone to check. On Tuesday Morning of June 16th, the Sears Repair department came to my house at 8am, and the person verified with his device, that there is a gas leak from the flex; which is connected to my gas line. So, he told me to call the gas company, and sears installation. That same day, the gas company came to my home, and shut off my gas and said the gas leak is coming from the flex and where my gas line is connected. They informed me to call a plumber. I contacted sears, and they contacted kepco, and kepco said that they can come back and check on it. I asked them that if the person who will be coming is a plumber, and they said that he is not a plumber, he is just an installer. I let them know that the gas company and shut off the gas and they told me to contact a plumber. If the person I call is not a plumber then this will not be solving the problem. I called a plumber, and the plumber and the gas company verified that the gas leak is coming from where the gas line is connected; to the gas flex. They said that it is caused by the person who came and changed my stovetop and he did not install it correctly which is why all these problems occurred. Due to too much pressure, to installing the gas flex, to the gas line, the gas line could have been twisted and moved or cracked. As of Tuesday June 16th, the gas was shut off till that Friday June 19th, around 10pm. Friday night the gas company came back and turned on the gas. Till the Friday, I was unable to cook, and my family was unable to take a shower. Not only this, but also lots of stucco and dry wall damage in my house now, due to the fixing needed to be done by the plumber. Invoice of the plumber that I have, kepco asked me to fax it over to them for them to take a look at. I did fax the invoice from the plumber and the gas company to kepco; attention Ken. I later received a denial letter, and I contacted them too many times and got no response. I was also calling Sears everyday, and also getting no response. Sears Installation Department told me that they don’t know what to do, and it is best for me to contact corporation. I am asking you to investigate this matter, and I trusted Sears when I bought my stove. I trusted sears when I got my stovetop installed. I have paid $1200 to a plumber and I still have a cost to be able to repair the stucco and the dry wall and the paint. I did not know, in my honest opinion that the Sears installer is not a licensed plumber. This wasn’t a stove installation problem, this is an issue regarding un-proper installation of gas flex to the gas line. Only a licensed plumber should be able to complete this job, not just an installer. If Sears wanted to do things right the first time, they would have from the start send a licensed plumber to complete the work. I am asking you to deeply investigate this matter to get this resolved. Ken is not professional, and this company is not professional. At some point they hung up on me when I was trying to be in contact. They also told me that they are just too busy to talk to me and will get back in contact with me, but they never did. They also never got back in contact with sears; in phone and in email. This is embarrassing. I am asking you to do something about it. Providing excellent customer service should be your top priority, and getting back to me as soon as possible should be done. I received horrible customer service through Kenmore, and now Sears. As a valued customer that I am, for many purchases and business that I have with sears, I feel like that both Sears and Kepco have not treated me as a valued customer.

Sears does not care about its remodel customers!!!

OH YES! They literally broke my heart AND my kitchen !! Subcontractors were horrible: work was never completed: I tried for TWO YEARS by phone to get help from Sears and was insulted ridiculed and hung up on by people I assume to be prisoners on work release. I was never permitted to speak to a manager. The worst customer disservice ever. My cabinets veneer haas peeled completely; the undercounted sink has SUNK; the job was NEVER COMPLETED! Then they sold my small balance to GMAC who got a judgment and made a credit problem. I had a severe injury became extremely ill and was no longer capable of battling the awful call center. Now I am well enough to pick up where I left off. CLASS ACTION SUIT TIME???

Sears in Acworth, Georgia - Disasterous service from repair dept.

We recently has a severe lightning storm that took out our Kenmore refrigerator/freezer. We contacted Sears for repairs and they said we had to wait 6 days!!! Since we had no choice we accepted it. In the meantime we had to put some food in a friends freezer then go purchase several coolers and 40 pounds of ice to keep the rest cold. Additionally, I have medication that has to be refrigerated and it costs over 1600.00 out of pocket. Sears said that's too bad and it's not their problem. While talking to this noservice person, I received an email that stated that my appt. has been rescheduled --- without my consent!!! Now I'll have to wait for 15 days for the tech to look at my refrigerator. The person on the phone said that if they don't have the parts with them, I'll have to wait longer.... Just prior to this review, my wife, sons & I cancelled our credit cards with Sears and we are telling all of our family & friends about this. By tonight, this will be on every social media acct. we have.

Sears - Mattress Sales

Went into the Sears in South Shore Plaza Braintree MA to buy a mattress and the kid in the department could not be bothered with me. He was busy with his phone. He saw me but it didn't matter at all. After at least ten minutes I left and went to Macy's. I paid a little more for the bed but at least I managed to have a sales person who knew I was there. I bought a $2200 bed from Macy's. Sears had been recommended to me by a friend who had a great experience there with another sales man, that I found out later, only works weekends.
