Sears does not care about its remodel customers!!!

OH YES! They literally broke my heart AND my kitchen !! Subcontractors were horrible: work was never completed: I tried for TWO YEARS by phone to get help from Sears and was insulted ridiculed and hung up on by people I assume to be prisoners on work release. I was never permitted to speak to a manager. The worst customer disservice ever. My cabinets veneer haas peeled completely; the undercounted sink has SUNK; the job was NEVER COMPLETED! Then they sold my small balance to GMAC who got a judgment and made a credit problem. I had a severe injury became extremely ill and was no longer capable of battling the awful call center. Now I am well enough to pick up where I left off. CLASS ACTION SUIT TIME???

Sears in Acworth, Georgia - Disasterous service from repair dept.

We recently has a severe lightning storm that took out our Kenmore refrigerator/freezer. We contacted Sears for repairs and they said we had to wait 6 days!!! Since we had no choice we accepted it. In the meantime we had to put some food in a friends freezer then go purchase several coolers and 40 pounds of ice to keep the rest cold. Additionally, I have medication that has to be refrigerated and it costs over 1600.00 out of pocket. Sears said that's too bad and it's not their problem. While talking to this noservice person, I received an email that stated that my appt. has been rescheduled --- without my consent!!! Now I'll have to wait for 15 days for the tech to look at my refrigerator. The person on the phone said that if they don't have the parts with them, I'll have to wait longer.... Just prior to this review, my wife, sons & I cancelled our credit cards with Sears and we are telling all of our family & friends about this. By tonight, this will be on every social media acct. we have.

Sears - Mattress Sales

Went into the Sears in South Shore Plaza Braintree MA to buy a mattress and the kid in the department could not be bothered with me. He was busy with his phone. He saw me but it didn't matter at all. After at least ten minutes I left and went to Macy's. I paid a little more for the bed but at least I managed to have a sales person who knew I was there. I bought a $2200 bed from Macy's. Sears had been recommended to me by a friend who had a great experience there with another sales man, that I found out later, only works weekends.

We bought a new craftsman lawn trator, this is the second season, warrenty out by one month. Uses 1/2 quart of oil for 30 mins of mowing, went to the bbb and Sears refused to do anything to make us the costumer happy, all we wanted was for them to cover repair. Will never buy anything again at Sears, ornkmart they own them, unless the make it right, and I know that will never happen. The lawn mower was ordered on the web site, when it was received it was damaged, they said they would get us what we needed to fix the body damage, but that we could not return or get a different one, this was a brand new one, it's been a lemon, and I just can't beleive Sears would rather lose customers than make a customer happy by fixing there product only that little of time out of warrenty, it was stored for the winter it's not used here for anything other than mowing. We had know idea that this problem would happen in the spring. All we want is for the lawn tractor to been repaired.

The "S" in Sears is not for Service

Hands down Sears in Norristown, PA was the worst customer service experience of my life. Take warning, when you enter a store and the 3 people working outnumber the customers that is a bad sign. After multiple missed deliveries, I went to the store to speak with a Manager. The Manager knew my name and history of missed deliveries. She even mentioned she was planning to call me (I guess I beat her to it). I saw her write down my name for a specific day for another delivery attempt. No call the day before for confirmation so again I have to chase people down. Turns out someone cancelled my order. No one could explain a reason for the cancellation. I really needed these appliances so I gave it one more try. After another day of broken promises and no follow through I went to the store to cancel my order. Suprisingly, it was the easiest/no questions asked cancellation of my life. The associate was actually helpful and seemed happy to cancel my order. I have been a loyal Sears customer for years and have purchased many big ticket items there (beds, lawn mowers, fitness equipment, tools, etc). I am now forever done with Sears. I believe in the not too distant future Sears will be a case study for college students on how a once profitable, well respected business ran itself into the ground by providing poor customer service and lack of management.

Do not use Sears for any online orders

Do not ever ever use Sears. They never send the online orders, they lie and tell you it was shipped through USPS even if it has not, which can go on for weeks. Do not trust them. Especially if it is a gift. You will be embarrassed when your loved one never gets the gift that you ordered them. If you cancel an item, don't expect to ever get your money back. They are unorganized, dishonest and will cost you an entire 40 hour work week trying to straighten things out. They put you on hold for hours and the customer service staff are incompetent to say the least."

Just on phone with incompetent personnel, no less than 5, at national call center trying to simply get the overall width of a craftsman 42 in 420 cc riding lawn mower. Apparently English comprehension is definitely not their strong suit. It's like putting a b a by in a fighter jet and asking it to fly away. Disgusting doesn't quit cover this experience.

Why do you treat customers more as adversaries than appreciated customers? I purchased both a riding mower and new fridge this year from Sears. When purchasing the fridge I paid additional for removal of my old fridge. During delivery the driver stated he did not have room in his truck for removal. How is it possible to remove a new fridge from truck and not have room for another fridge of same size? This is a mystery. He stated that they would be back that afternoon or 3 days later on Sunday. A week went by without a word. After numerous calls and emails a delivery was scheduled. This time the driver stormed in taking out a large tree in my front yard. He said "sorry" before leaving and driving back over the tree now in my driveway. I immediately emailed this event to Sears explaining that I was upset. Can you explain to me how Sears response to their delivery team driver causing personal property to a customer is to suggest calling their 800# 3 days later after the weekend? Why is the burden of this on me?
