Sears in Luquillo, Luquillo - INCOMPETENT DELIVERY SERVICE TO PUERTO RICO

I ordered parts for my stove on June 20, 2015 and was assured that UPS would deliver to my house in Puerto Rico within 3 days. It is now July 13 and still no sign of my order. Supposedly Sears uses a delivery hub 17 miles away from the town I live in and this is where my package was dropped off. After 5 calls to Sears, I was told that my package would be delivered when the hub received enough packages going to my area. RIDICULOUS!!! The person then asked if there was someone in NY that it could be shipped to so that they could mail it to me. When I expressed my indignation, I was told that they would reorder and have the parts sent directly to my house. That was a week ago. Sears is definitely not consumer friendly as concerns Puerto Rico and not only will I be closing my account with them, but I will also file a complaint with the BBB, Consumer Affairs and will also notify Consumer Reports which I currently subscribe to

Sears in Los Angeles, California - Kenmore refrigerator is a nightmare --

I bought this item on April 18, this refrigerator sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. I called for service about a month after i bought this item. Technitian came and say that the fan was faulty so around june 3 he ordered the part, and scheduled an appointmnet to install it. I did bot recieved the part i had to call back Sear and they sended it again. I got the part and now i waiting for a technitin to come on JULY 23. The problem is that i don think is a fan problem, because the fun system works sometimes and is cool enoght then it stops working i have to unplug the refrigerator then it sometime work. It july 12 and im trying to get this thing to work but having no luck. It is really frustating because we have been trowing away our food . I dont recooment this refrigerator at all. Brought a Kenmore Refridgerator in march 2013. Paid for the extended service warranty. Two weeks ago it stop coollng. Called and they ordered parts and scheduled me for 2 weeks out. Asked for an earlier appointment was told to call back when my parts had arrived. 3 days later I called back and there were no earlier appointments. Now 2weeks later the technican no showed and received no phone calls from Sears. When I called I was told he was on the way to my house. Called again 2 hours later told I had to reschedule for the following week. Spoke to a supervisor who hung up me when I called back was told that the technican should still come today. Tried to file a complaint and was told I had to wait since I was still on the schedule. Finally was able to get scheduled for the next day. But I don't believe them. I want my money back and will NEVER BY FROM SEARS AGAIN

Sears in Cheswick, Pennsylvania - Poor customer service

I purchased over $2000 in lazyboy patio furniture .One chair did not have a threaded hole for the bolt. I was told take apart all 10 pieces of furniture box them up and ship them back and they would send me a new set to put together.I just needed 1 new rail. After calling the store and customer service 4 different people who gave me the run around.Stupidity at its best they are having a complete set delivered to me tomorrow and told me take the part I need and return the rest. No wonder they are failing as a retailer poor customer service and wasting money ,when I offered to pick up the part at the local warehouse.

Call the store ask for the store manager... then ask for the direct nbr to her/his district manager...will ask what the reason but he/she will give you the direct nbr...your part will be shipped the same day as well as a gift certificate for the inconvenience....

Sears in Mountain View, California - Poor delivery & installation service and worse customer service people!

Bought a dishwasher. Delivery and installation was scheduled and re-scheduled 5 times over one month period due to lack of product in the warehouse. Several times I would get conflicting calls. First a cancelation call (woke me up at 7 am!) and followed by a schedule for delivery call two hours later. Had to call around to verify which call was the valid one. Charge to my credit card was immediate though. I finally called to cancel the order as I could not take the "strung me along" any more. Still got calls about delivery schedule several days after I canceled the order! Poor service! A delivery scheduler suggested that I call to formally complain. That was the worst part, the person taking the call was arrogant, saying that since Sears did the refund that was the end of that. No apologies whatsoever. She said she was a manager and she decides on the case. It is hard to shop at Sears with such Customer Service people. ,,,,

After a house full of Kenmore appliances I won't buy so much as a wrench at Sears. Whoever designed their web-site and voicemail should be eviscerated.

A once great name destroyed by greed and the so called world market.

I hope Sears closes it's doors soon and puts itself out of a lot of customer's misery!

Sears - Product defective. Lousy customer service

Ordered a vacuum from SearsOutlet.com. Supposed to be a "certified product fully operational and functional". The product was not packaged properly and the switches were defective. When I ordered, I inquired about returns. I was told I could return to any Sears Outlet. When I did so, they told me that they could not refund my purchase and that I would have to ship it back to the originating outlet. When I then called customer service to ask them about send me a pre-paid UPS label, they told me that I would have to pay for shipping. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I spoke with "Rusty" who said he personally packaged the product and they it was working when shipped. He said the pieces that were loose in the box, must have come undone during shipping. Bull. He said that shipping charges would not be refunded and that I should file a complaint with UPS. Simply passing the buck. What was wrong with the vacuum did not happen during shipping. UPS will ship the product back after making an investigation. Then I should receive a refund from Sears Outlets. This has been the WORST customer service I have ever received. DO NOT BUY FROM Sears Outlets. I will file a complaint with BBB if I do not receive a full refund. However long it takes!

Sears - Too Cheap to Send Missing Screws

This past spring I bought a Craftsman 26-inch tool chest rolling bottom, middle, and top. When I went to assemble the units, it was the case that the screws needed to mount the casters to the bottom cabinet were not included. I called Sears (1-800-349-4358) and was told that Sears could not send me these 16 screws and that I have to go buy them myself. A supervisor amended that to a $10 credit and then a $21 credit so I could go buy the screws myself. I was shocked. Even toy manufacturers understand hardware sometimes is missing, and send replacement hardware. Seriously, Sears can't back up their product enough to send 16 cheap screws? Even Lowes and Home Depot near us don't carry this particular size screw, so it took some time to find them. I figure that, with the phone call and searching, I have hours of my time and $12 in expenditures put out to replace these screws that Sears should have simply sent, as the error was theirs. That all adds up to a lot more value than a $21 credit. I am at an end with Craftsman / Sears. It's really sad what they've become.

I purchased a split system with a heat pump , July 2013, it has been broke down three times , June 27thsears changed out the faulty heat pump. First time using this new one same problem pouring water out the front, Mitsubishi is involved thank god because sears don't care about my issue sad but true. Sears - Mattress Review from Chandler, Arizona

After spending quite awhile at Sears with a sales associate explaining what health issues my husband had and what would be the best mattress for his specific issues a week later the wrong mattress was delivered. The sales person rang up the wrong item (which I understand mistakes happen) but when I called to reschedule for the correct mattress to be delivered the lady with customer service was super rude and proceeded to tell me our mattress wouldnt be delivered for over a week. We live in a big city so Im not quite sure what the problem is.......I explained to her I again would have to take time off from work to be there when it was to be delivered.......she could care less!
