SEARS OWES ME A REFUND FOR 3871.98 FOR A CRAFTSMAN MOWER !

Mower was delivered, not put together properly. Three weeks later they came with another mower, it was the same as the first one. I told them to take both mowers back and refund my money. This was on May 5,2015. Today is May 28th, Sears still has not refunded my money. I know that both mowers are in the Sears warehouse, I spoke the assistant warehouse manager. I am at a loss for what to do. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on May 21st, 2015. Sears has ten days to reply to the complaint. Then what ?

Don't waste your time with BBB. That will do nothing for you.

File a credit card chargeback now. Call your cc issuer and explain that you have no product and they have your payment.

We are dealing with the same thing. Refrigerator was picked up on 4/25, refund gift card (we had paid with a gift card) supposedly sent May 1, and as of June 3, we still have not received it.

I've called multiple times and only been given the run around. Today I was told that they would reissue the gift card and mail it again. I asked for expedited shipping and was told that they couldn't guarantee that.

I'm supposed to get an email within 48 hours, but I'm not holding my breath, as I've been told that several times and never heard back from them. We will NEVER shop at Sears again!

Sears in Chicago, Illinois - Delivery

I have been trying to get a washing machine delivered since 5/22/15 to no avail. I was FINALLY ASSURED of a deliver 5/28/15, between 8-12, I received ANOTHER call from sears saying my delivery time, is between 10-12. I immediately called sears again and after speaking with people THAT DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH and requesting SOMEONE THAT DOES SPEAK ENGLISH for 40 MINUTES, I finally gave up. The last person that I spoke to was from India and he brought RUDENESS TO NEW HEIGHTS. If my washer is not here at TWELVE, I am going to cancel this order, IMMEDIATELY. This has been nothing less than an on going ball of confusion, that has cost me a lot of time. UNNECESSARY time, not o mention the time I have spent on he computer TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.

Sears Sucks in evey possible way

I wanted to buy a new washer / dryer set. At checkout they immediately charged me for the unit approx $1400, as I was finalizing the checkout procedure, this nasty little screen appeared and would not not let the sale be finalized until I picked a service plan that at a minimum was and additional $250 to $350. I didn't want the service plan, the site gave me the opition to cancel the sale. I did so ans was told I would have to contact the Customer Service dept. When I did I was told they will cancel the sale but it will take 3-5 business days to get a refund. At this point I hadn't actually checked out, or so I thought. While I was on hold I pulled up my account and sure enough the charge had already been made. I requested to charge be cancelled and the money returned to my account, I was told this is not possible at this time. Requested to peak with a manager and was transferred again. At this point I spoke with a really nasty little man who sits at a desk all day with a headset on. This smug little sob said he isn't going to help with the request and it will be 3-5 days before the credit appears on my account. I was this little snot how come you can make a charge in 5 nanoseconds but it takes 3-5 days to reverse it. All this smug little B**** had to say was call your bank. I will NEVER buy anything from Sears as long as I live. I will go 50 miles out of my way and pay twice as much at a mom and pop business before ever dealing with Sears again.

Sears in Brookfield, Connecticut - LAWN MOWER SERVICE

In April I took my mover in to my local Sears for warranty service. It is still at the service center. Every time I call to see when I will get my mower back it has been the same answer for the last 3 weeks "YOUR MOWER WILL BE BACK AT THE STORE NEXT TUESDAY" guess what my mower was not back at the store, so I called the Service Department again today. The same lie came again " IT WILL BE AT THE STORE NEXT TUESDAY". I could have had it serviced locally in 2-3days. What takes Sears 7 weeks? Meanwhile for the last 3 weeks I am paying for a lawn mowing service If this is what Sears call customer service, why be a customer?

Went into their store to purchase a laptop. Sales associate makes an order for me with their store computer. I pay him and receive a broken used old and damaged laptop with no return label I called sears they informed me that the item was purchased through their marketplace which is a 3rd party vendor to make a long story short a month later and I still have no refund all sears does is lie and cheat the customer and now they have scammers fronting on sears.com be very careful.

All the negative things i'm hearing here is completely correct. I work for sears part time in sales and have been since I was an undergrad student. Now being in grad school and having another job, I continue to work there part time for extra cash, but at this point i'm so done with sears. I feel constantly harassed all the time about meeting certain metrics, which is so difficult when the department I work in is a *** ghost town most of the time, using ipads when they don't even function half the time, and the management I hate to say are completely ***, and not professional at all. I don't appreciate how condescending they are, like seriously your talking to someone with two college degrees and soon to have a masters degree, and just because i'm young doesn't give you the right to talk to me like i'm ***, i'm far from it! I don't need this ***. I don't like their politics and their rude and bitter for whatever reason. I love my co workers which makes working there somewhat tolerable, but i'm ready to part ways with sears at this point, I don't need all this nonsense and added stress in my life, I made the decision to give my two week notice within the next few weeks, can't deal anymore, and the turn over rate is crazy right now, but I see why. I feel that sears is going to be the next company we here about going bankrupt, and closing, its really sad because they are iconic in the retail market but with the way its being managed at this point I don't see them flourishing.

Sears worker are all lier

Puchase a side by side frig and have them haul away my old ones. They offer free delivery andhual away if I open a Sear credit card so I did what they suggested. Then they said next day delivery will cost an additional thirty dollars, I didn't mind so I sign all the paper work and waited for a confirmation call from Sears. Never came so I had to call them to find out the time of the delivery for the next day. I waited for the delivery which was scheduled for 10:45am to 12:45pm. Time past and no delivery. Call delivery department, they said the guy were there but someone told them it was the wrong address. I was on the phone with those *** or liers for a total of 8 hours to see if I could get my delivery which I paid the additional fee. No use. So I went to Bestbuy and got my frig in two with free shipping and haul way. Beware of Sears and their lies.

I have a high credit score and all past creditors have been paid off. I was able to purchase a home, yet denied credit for a Sears card. I will no longer shop at Sears, and will vehemently tell others not to purchase products from them.

I purchased a bar patio set at Sears on May 23rd. to be assembled and delivered on May 22nd. This has been a nightmare for over the last 24 hours. After speaking(both in person and by multiple phone calls , still the delivery has not been made as of now. I have been lied so many times,about whos fault it is that I don't believe any one any more. The logistic center is not picking up the phone and the managers keep giving me different delivery times. I will NEVER buy anything else at Sears since they are inefficient and lack integrity. I will speak to Judy Knox,General Manager,upon her return from vacations

Kenmore refrigerator and poor service from Sears

I purchased a stainless French door refrigerator from Sears 3 years ago. I called Sears because I needed the unit serviced and wanted a name I could depend on. First mistake. The unit went out in August of 2014 and it is now May of 2015 and the freezer is still out. Sears and /or their contractor (town and country) have replaced both circuit boards and replaced the compressor 4 times. We have had at least 9 service techs out and the last compressor lasted 1 hour, the one installed tonight lasted 2 hours. Sears, what happened to the iconic name that stood for dependability? You have obviously spent more money on repairs than the unit is worth, now step up and replace the unit as a gesture of good customer service. The warranty said they would replace it if they could not fix it, this is a blatant lie.
