bought a extended warranty on side by side refigerator it stoped working called sears i was told a service man would be there in 8 days.service guy checked it out told me he orderd parts and they would be here in 25 days .so that wil be 33 days with out a frig.there extended warranty is realy a extended repair but they are sorry.do you think they would go 33 days with out one.dont waste your money it sux!all i get is i am sorry i am sorry i bought the ext repair warranty and i am sorry i bought the same warranty on other applainces to probaly wasted that money to.i am going to give another retail store my money!

Sears has become a horrible company to deal with and have no business posting guarantees on their website such as “We’ll do our best to do what’s best for you” that it has no intentions of honoring.

Sears has become a horrible company to deal with and have no business posting guarantees on their website such as “We’ll do our best to do what’s best for you” that it has no intentions of honoring. We purchased a mattress from Sears it is sagging more than 6 inches in less than a year of purchase. We tried to deal with them over the phone and the customer service agents were so robotic and hung-up when they could not answer questions they are not willing to or able to provide the best service. Then, we went into the Sears Outlet on 2633 Sweden Way on February 11th, 2015 and we were assured that Sears Corporate Customer Service - Furniture Medic would come in and assess our issue with the mattress within one week. NOBODY contacted us! We escalated the problem all the way up to the CEO’s office rboire@searshc.com and they told us “We will have an appointment arranged shortly”. We finally got an appointment for March 19th, 2015; 5 WEEKS LATER. Now I am preparing myself for the second phase of having to struggle with Sears after all the reviews I have read http://homestars.com/companies/2681010-sears-canada-inc and I fully expect them not to find anything wrong with the mattress and yet the amount of pain is ridiculous even though we are not large people. I did not have back issues prior to this mattress but my husbands does and his back problems are more severe being triggered by using this mattress. My husband sleeps on the floor and I stay at the edge of the mattress so that my body doesn’t get as sore as sleeping in the middle. Waiting for an appointment is very painful and we have been suffering in the meantime. But Sears could not care less! I provided Sears with links of reviews on Kingsdown mattresses which are extremely negative but Carrie Whittle from Sears Executive Office Email: cwhitt2@sears.ca replied “Unfortunately I can not authorize for anything till we have received the report from the furniture medic. Debit charged over $3,000.00 and nobody at Sears can locate my order.

I placed an order for appliance package that totaled $4,000.00. When I placed the order it kept saying my card information could not be processed and enter it again. I was using a debit card and entered the information 3 times and little did I know Sears was processing partial payments each time I re-entered the information, my bank now shows 3 pending transactions, nobody in customer service can locate my order or help me. The only advise they can give is that the hold should "drop off" in 24 hours. My bank disputed that on the phone with them and said it could take up to 72 hours, so now I have $3,100.00 in pending charges on my debit card and no order number or any confidence that Sears is going to correct this issue. My bank said to fax them over a statement on letterhead with my information and state the charge was made in error and the hold could be taken off tomorrow but nobody at Sears is competent enough to do it. I've spent well over an on the phone with them tonight.

Sears in Kansas City, Missouri - Poor customer service and un knowledgeable people about the company they represent

On February 25, 2015 me and husband were doing some online shopping for side by side refrigerators. We placed an order and was told that it would be delivered on that following Saturday. Saturday came and no refrigerator called and went to the Sears store in independence mo. And the manager of the store did not want to talk to us had an employee do his dirty work instead of trying to manage the situation. Sunday they told us that we would have our refrigerator on Thursday March 5th it is now the 4th and I called to ensure delivery for tomorrow. The customer service representative could not find our information after looking in several different areas we were finally found and stated that she did not see a delivery set up for us for tomorrow but said no worries we can delivery Friday the 6th. I then said that's it NO MORE!!! Cancel the order she could not do it on her end I had to call another number and that person told me the next time that they could deliver it would be March 18th due to snow. Which told me that this refrigerator is know where in the Midwest because we are not having snow issues. Needless to say we are not happy the customer service representative told us it would be 7 to 10 business days for a refund. I asked why does it take so long to refund my money it didn't take that long for you to take it from my account. People PLEASEE FOR YOUR ON SANITY DO NOT BUY FROM SEARS!!!! The customer service people do not speak good English so you can hardly understand them and the people do not know enough information to help you. First rule of business KNOW YOUR BUSINESS.

Yet another automotive repair center that thinks women are ***! We had an alignment done which was worse than when we started. We took it to ourfriend who is an ASE certified mechanic but he does not do alignments. He told us the castor was out but we knew that. Sears said the castor would not make it pull to the right. He was wrong. Even I knew it would. And the paper that Sears gave us to show what they set the castorcamber & tow showed the castor was out & they did not adjust it.

Sears Outlet Online Will Not Refund Money

I ordered an item from Sears Outlet online. The item was out of stock and the order was cancelled. However, Sears KEPT MY PAYMENT!! I called Sears Outlet numerous times and kept getting told that the issue would be resolved in 24-48 hours. Then it was 7-10 business days. Then it was 7-10 more business days. The payment was made over a month ago and I still have not received a refund. Sears claims it is a Paypal issue, but Paypal notes that Sears completed the transaction and has the money in their account. Paypal also tried to contact Sears to approve the refund and Sears did not authorize it. Every time I call Sears' customer service, nobody knows what I am talking about. And I am not allowed to speak to a supervisor or anyone who can resolve this.

Worst company ever! Ordered a $2500 washer/dryer. Their delivery guy Lester left my dryer gas pipe exposed, told my 80 yo father he needs a therapist (English is my fathers second language, so princess Lester prob couldn't understand him), yelled/cursed and left my house with my already purchased washer/dryer. Their home delivery managers are absolutely useless because no one could explain to me how this behavior is tolerated or acceptable. They tried to offer me a$25 gift card...laughable. No thanks SEARS, let's see how much longer service like this will keep you in business To make matters even better, I can't get anyone on the phone to cancel/return my washer/dryer which I don't even have I hate companies that don't keep their customers as their primary focus. You will not survive

Sears Hot Water Tank -- busted again!!!!

We purchased a hot water tank from sears as well. We have replaced the same part 3 times already. The first time was within 6 months of purchase, but it keeps failing. They wont replace the whole unit. And don't even get us started about the service. Multiple calls. They keep claiming we didn't call, then we rebook, and no one shows. Call back. Oh...nothing in the system again? wow, what a shocker. Then, when the guy shows, "sorry I am just here to diagnose, I don't have any parts". But we told you it was the thermostat, how many times do we have to keep saying this!!!!!! If you buy a hot water tank from Sears, you better make sure they send you 2 or 3 extra parts for the entire machine...heck, have them send 2 or 3 entire units...you will need it.

Everyone knows that sears is no good anymore.What you can do with the meat as it is winter you can place it outside in a cooler if it is below freezing outside. You can ask friends or neighbors to store it for you.You can donate it all to a homeless shelter or a church.You can cook it all and have one big party. You can put it on craigslist for free and help a needy family.That is all I can think of now hope it helps.
