Sears review in Concord, North Carolina: 100,000 mile waranty tires that dont last nore than 35,000 mile

i bought expencive tires from sears with a 100,000 mile warranty that wore out at 35,000 miles. This is rediculious that i have to pay a prorated amount that is more than the tires cost originally. Any other company would replace the tires for free with the warranty at no cost but sears wont. If i wanted cheap tires i would have bought cheap tires. All sears wants is to take peoples money and then expect you to fork out more money to fix their mistake. Dont buy tires from them or have your car service with them, they will take advantage of you and then say oh well you have to pay more to get the problem resolved. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY VEHICLE TO THEM FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN.THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY WILL HANGUP THE PHONE ON YOU WHEN THEY REALIZE THAT YOU ARE RIGHT AND ARE NOT WILLING TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. We bought the warranty but it does no good because they want more money to replace the tires, which isnt fair to the consumer when the tires are only 6 months old and you bought the warranty to protect your self against things like this. Worst company to buy anything from. Stay away from sears auto, evidently they hire people that dont know what they are doing. BAD COMPANY!!!!!!

Delivery team destroyed chandelier and door blinds- Sears refused to reimburse

Sears delivery team, while in the process of delivering a refrigerator, smashed it into my dining room chandelier, virtually destroying the fixture, along with door blinds on my entrance door. Such carelessness and wrecklessness I have never before seen from a retail organization, exceeded only by their lack of accountability. After two months and countless communications with multiple claim departments, I have yet to receive a penny in reimbursement. Not only will Sears not stand behind the product they sell, but apparently they refuse to accept accountability for property damage caused by them or their representatives / agents. !!!!!!!!!!!!!STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM SEARS AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased 2 products on 02/15/2015 from sears.com that were to arrive by 02/20/2015. on 02/17/2015 I received an email from sears stating my order had shipped with a tracking number for my order. On 02/19/2015 When I tracked my package on the UPS website, it stated...

I have a similar complaint. I ordered a dishwasher over the phone because I was told it was in stock.

I arrived and told they didn't have it. I immediately called to cancel the order which I did and received and email confirmation of the cancellation.

4 days later I called back k and was told they made a mistake and we're extremely sorry for there mess up and would issue me a refund within 24 hours.

7 days later with calls everyday I'm now told the order has not been cancelled, but they will do it immediately.

It will take 48 hours for that to process and then I an expect a refund in 3-5 business days.

So 3 weeks after Sears took my money, I "might" have it.

I will never shop at Sears again, and recommend that with the company probably going out of business soon, you not either.

LG Washer Rusting - Sears Customer NONService

1.0
Details
I purchased an LG Washer from Sears less than two years ago, and purchased the extended warranty master plan. This just after purchasing all of our kitchen appliances with them, along with extended warranties on all. I discovered rust at the top of the washer, near the dispenser, and contacted Sears. Apparently rust on a nearly brand new washer isn't covered, and they made no attempt whatsoever to be of help. Basically all I got was that I should look at my agreement and see that rust is not covered. Too bad for you, in other words. Will NEVER purchase anything from Sears ever again.

Just had the exact same experience...my husband's $50 dress shirts all have rust stains. I have an extended warranty but was told rust is not covered.

Shame on Sears for not standing by their products.

This is clearly a defect in the material...a washer gets wet and should withstand rust!!! Will never buy from Sears again.

No longer upset with Sears

About 6 months ago we had problems with sears personnel handling our problem. We had no satisfaction with them and we had to go all the way to the top and go through Sears home office and they were great and handled our issue with no problems. We are no longer upset with sears since they did resolve our issue. We had a damaged item and tried to get an exchange and that was the big issue. We tried to work with a few of the Sears personnel and we didn't get any satisfaction with them. So we had to contact Sears in Chicago and that's how our issue was resolved. They were very prompt and very nice when they took care of us. Thanks to Sears in Chicago.

Water Heater Review

My mom & dad bought a water heater from Sears. It broke down, still under warranty. The repairman came out to fix it. Needed to order a part. They have been without hot water now for 3 weeks. Now Sears won't even return their phone calls.

Sears review in Baton Rouge, Louisiana: No notice they are not delivering after 3 confirmations of schedule

Our fridge has been acting up, not getting cold anymore. We got our Fed tax refund Friday, Feb 13th. So after we ate Sat night we went to Lowes and looked at what they had. My husband liked the bottom freezer fridges, but the ones with the single door. The store by our house did not have one in stock, but another local store did--it was getting late so we didn't go over there. So after we got home, I started researching and found one we both liked that Sears said they had in stock, and it could be delivered Monday. I ordered it and chose today (Tues, Feb 17th) for delivery, since I am off today. I got a message on the answering machine last night, and a text message, confirming delivery between 9 and 11 this morning. I got another text at 8:30 this morning confirming it was on schedule. I moved my car so they'd have a clear path through the door, and spent the whole morning in the kitchen with the door open, checking my phone regularly, waiting for them. I cleaned the kitchen like the house was going up for sale, waiting.... Come noon, they still had not showed up so I called the number for deliveries. The rude female on the other end said they are not delivering today because of weather. Yes, weather--I live in Louisiana. I pointed out I got 3 confirmations of delivery today, there's been no phone calls or messages about a change, and the weather is clear, with no rain, snow, sleet, ice or anything else. There is no excuse to not deliver. She just said sorry, not delivering today. She didn't even offer to reschedule. When were they planning to tell me this? I'm guessing never, or maybe around, oh, say, 5 pm. I canceled the delivery. I called Sears (had a heck of time finding a phone number) and canceled the order and demanded an email confirmation of cancellation. I called the credit card company to make sure they did not try to run it through--it had not been run through yet, and he couldn't stop or block it because it had been pre-authorized, but if they do run it I can call back and they can get it reversed (how *** is that?). So went to the other local Lowes, they have the fridge we had picked out in the store in stock. Should have just bought it to start with. I will never purchase anything from Sears again. This is grossly unprofessional, unethical and incompetent. I left pretty nasty, detailed, feedback on Sears' website giving them a rating of zero.

Sears review in Wellesley, Massachusetts: TERRIBLE SERVICE - CANCELLED SNOWBLOWER REPAIR

1.4
Details
Sears is the worst. I grew up with Sears as an institution of trust and quality. It is no longer. I will never step into a Sears store again. They have a history of 1. lying about why things are not delivered after my waiting for 4 hours 2. ordering online for store pickup but does not have it in stock 3. cancelling a snowblower repair after waiting three weeks in New England's worst winter 4. having poor quality products and 5. being informed outdoor furniture needs to be assembled upon delivery GOOD BYE SEARS. In addition, the help and service representatives have no clue what they are doing and often do not use basic English.

Failure to comply with the terms of the Sears Home protection plan

I own a service plan from Sears on almost all my household appliances. It’s called “Master Protection agreement”. The plan offers maintenance, repair and if repair is not feasible, replacement. I pay $581.84/year for 4 appliances. The contract number is 000879321800116 On Thursday, February 12th, 2015, A flame of "fire" erupted from the inside of my stove followed by a loud explosion sound. I turned off the stove. I found out that the flame was still up and slowly dwindled down after I turned off the stove. I also noticed that the glass on the stove cover blew into small pieces. I called Sears Service plan in “panic”. They sent a technician on the same day Thursday 2/12/15. He checked the stove and told me that the he needs to change some part from inside the stove and obviously then change the top. He spent a whole hour on the phone with the company trying to get the replacement parts. The company told him that they don’t have these parts anymore…. As a result ( and according to the plan), he called the replacement department asking for replacement of the stove and he told me that he will replace the stove. After some time of talking to the supervisor in the replacement department, he suddenly changed his mind and said: ”this problem with the stove is due to MISUSE” There were no accidents that involved the stove. The problem in my stove is dangerous. I have no way to replace the stove and I have young kids at home. There was no misuse of the stove. I’m not asking to replace the stove. I just wanted it repaired and immediately as the service plan dictates. Thanks for your help
