Sears in Warrenton, Virginia - Missed day of pay, and one more to follow!

I just need to know a better place to go for complaints at Sears services. Trying to get every avenue I can get. My wife missed a full day of work yesterday waiting for scheduled service that we've waited for a while with the appointment. Will be there between 8 & 5. She had made a call somewhere around 3 and was still coming. At 4:45 she called again and was told he was ten minutes away, around 7:30 she called again, they told her no one was home at the time the technician got there. Now we have to wait another week plus for service. The thing is my son was home from 3:00 on, outside in the driveway working on his car, he even stated that no vehicles even came by, we're on the end of a cul-de-sac, we know when vehicles come the dog goes nuts. Now my wife has a lost day of pay, being told we are liars, and we still cannot do laundry. I called also they transferred me to a tech specialist who just read the book as everyone else prior. We have a wedding to attend and need service. I'm sorry but I remember when you could depend on Sears’s service, those days are gone. I am going to let all the blogs know just how sears treats repeat and warranty customers, if this was to be a paid service I’m sure it would have been taken care of. Shame on you Sears

Sears - After a repair to my water softener the water access pipe started leaking

The attachment of the pipe that brings the water into the water softener was replaced by the repairman because that unit did not work. The tub that hold the water had filled and did not empty and had to be fixed. When doing that the repairman did not replace the washer, which was damaged. Because this was not replaced the next day I discovered there was a leak at the connection. I called Sears asking for someone to come to my home to repair this leak and was told a repairman was not available until 7 days from that date. The only way I had to stop the leak, was to turn off the main water supply which is located at the street. In doing this, it would cut off all water to my house, leaving me without water for the whole week - 7 days. The person who makes appointments at Sears told me that was the earliest appointment they had available, ignoring my insistence this was not acceptable. I can not be without water for a whole week. She said this was all they could do. I called my handyman who came in 2 hours and fixed the problem. The washer should have been replaced along with the unit he replaced. My handyman told me when the unit was replaced the washer ALWAYS needs to be replaced at the same time. There was further damage to the access pipe, which at this time. also had to be replaced at an additional cost of $ 120. The original repair was a part of the problem with the water softener, leaving me with only half of the problem being repaired. I will never use a Sears repairman again.

Sears in Littleton, Colorado - No Call/No Show

Purchased a refrigerator 8/31/14 scheduled delivery 9/10/14 delivery window was between 5:30-7:30 p.m. They never arrived or called. We called them 4x that night, just got the run around. Next day, still no call. We called again, was assured it would be delivered 9/20/14 we called tonight for delivery window.. We were told the order had been cancelled! They could not tell us when it was "Cancelled" nor by Whom... And we were told our money had not been refunded either and we could wait 7-10 business days! Unbelievable! Will never shop there again! No one should wonder or be surprised when Sears goes out of business. Very shady.

Ordered dishwasher online including installation and haul-away and installation parts. Had account with Sears when we ordered refrigerator 11 years ago, and did not notice old phone number, which to my surprise, is the key to find this new order for delivery.

Had to call them 4 days in a row to correct this mistake and confirm delivery which had been changed online by them to be on a Sunday. No email or calls to the corrected number was received. We were still on the phone yet again to ask the time of delivery when the order came the next day. (installation guy confirmed that they do not deliver on Sundays!).

Installation was fine and the appliance is fine so far.

Salespeople and delivery people apparently do not communicate among themselves, as the installation/delivery people had attested to. Will think twice before purchasing at Sears in the future.

Sears - Ordered a Classy Boquet of Flowers receied a Trassy Bunch of flowers

I was delegated by my family to send a special family member, who had just gone through and survived a three hour surgery, flowers from us all. When I saw the lavender rose bouquet I knew we had a homerun because those two were her favorites! I mistakenly ordered from Sears. I ordered these: Enchanted Cottage –Premium and paid the Premium Price! Your Description: This magical bouquet will be at home in a cottage, a condo, a studio or an estate. It's so pretty it will be appreciated by all those lucky enough to receive it. Enchant someone today! White roses and spray roses, lavender stock and waxflower, all perfectly arranged in a clear glass vase that's wrapped with purple ribbon. Approximately 14 1/2" W x 16 1/2" H How embarrassing what was sent and yes there is quite a difference. There are three large Daisy type flowers, four pink carnations, ("WHERE ARE THE ROSES????" Lavender?????) I'm not sure what the tall purple flowers are called Babies breath and ferns. Received in a Mason jar!!!!!!! Their substitution policy says equal or greater value, well you sure missed there!!!! I ordered classy, and she received trashy! Three Daisy type flowers and four carnations for replacement of at least a dozen roses are you kidding me. And no lavender. I could have got her a better bouquet out of my flower garden and the arrangement leaves a lot to be desired. Please be warned to have all your flower orders to SEARS checked when they are delivered as you certainly do not get what you order!!!

Sears lied and leaves husband suffering with COPD with nowhere to sleep

Two weeks ago I bought a King sized mattress and box springs so that my husband who is dying from COPD can rest comfortably. I was told it would be delivered no later than today, September 19th and could possibly be delivered as early as September 12th. I was also told that I would receive notification 24 hours prior to the delivery. The 12th came and went so I knew that was not going to happen but last night on the 18th I got a voice mail saying that the delivery would be made between 5 and 7 pm on the 19th, or the next day which is today. I had some friends come over and help this morning and we removed and gave away the bed from our bedroom so that we would be ready for the delivery. Then at 11:30 AM this morning I get a call (just 5 hours before the delivery window) saying that the delivery was postponed and left a number to call. I called the number and they say it will be another week at the earliest. Now what the he!! am I supposed to do? I have a suffering husband and because of your ineptitude he has nowhere to sleep. THAT IS INEXCUSABLE! This after my husband has spent over 7,000 at your lousy company in the past year. I have no idea what we are supposed to do now, but you can bet this story will be posted anywhere on the web I can put it, and also the local news if they are willing to air it. You people should be ASHAMED for the treatment of your customers. This is unbelievable.

Sears in Albany, New York - Horrible Experience with Delivery and Instore staff

On September 1, 2014, I bought a sleeping mattress, supporting foundation and a bed frame from the Sears store at Colonie Center Mall in Albany, NY. The scheduled delivery was on 17th September. However, I did not get my delivery that day neither was I contacted by anyone about the status. I had to follow up several times with customer service as well as store management but nobody knew where my order was. The staff was extremely rude and instead of apologizing for their mismanagement, they tried to put the blame on me. When I complained, the delivery team member yelled at me and hung up on me saying she is not responsible for my order. On following up again I've been told by the store manager that I will get my order delivered on 24th September. I have not received any confirmation for my delivery or any compensation for my inconvenience. I feel cheated. May be because of my race I had to go through it.I am traumatized by this experience. I won't recommend this store to anyone.

Sears in Newark, New Jersey - Got picture? I don't!

My Seiki tv has no picture but has sound. Set is less than two years old and was purchased brand new from Sears. They should change the name to Sucki! Customer service left a lot to be desired also because I had no proof of purchase, who keeps receipts that long anyway, they wouldn't even try to troubleshoot for me. C'mon man! I plainly explained that I have no picture but I do have sound, one of their techs could have offered some advice, but the customer service rep wouldn't even put me through! Next set is a Vizio for sure!

What is Sears going to do if the set is over a year old, and the manufacturer's warranty is only for 1 year. If the manufacturer isn't going to replace/repair your tv after 1 year I am not sure what you expect Sears to do.

I ordered a $9K, Jenn Air, built in frig., paid in full 9/2014. Was suppose to be delivered 9/18/2014. No delivery, four voice mail messages in last two days. No one answers the phone. This was the Grass Valley, Ca. store. I had to call Sac. To find out my delivery was rescheduled for two weeks later. Just awful customer service. Left a detailed message with their corporate office in San Francisco. No return phone from them either.

Sears - Credit Card Review from Livonia, Michigan

I worked at Sears for about 8 hours and quit. They put me my first time EVER on the cash register on a SATURDAY, the busiest day of the entire week. It was horrible; imagine using a caveman age computer (how much money do they make and they can't fix the *** computers or update them???) with impatient customers who had to put up with the new girl. It was just insane. Not to mention what got to me the most; the *** credit apps. you constantly had to sell *** credit cards that would do nothing but destroy people and ask people over and over again if they wanted them. And it's your fault if you don't sell them. I don't want to be responsible for someone else's destruction through a credit card. The pay was 7.40 ... REALLY? When you put up with *** rude customers I think you should at least be payed the right amount. Another thing; some of the workers that have been there for 15+ years only have two weeks vacation the entire year!!!! SEARS IS RIDICULOUS AND I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THEIR STORE AGAIN. They're disgustingly money hungry.
