Sears review in Sacramento, California: They canceled my living room set order because they mismarked the price! Be careful of 3rd party vendors they use. Super slimy practices!

I ordered a living room set online at Sears.com. I waited for weeks until it was almost the delivery date. When I called to ask what time it would be delivered (so I could take time off work) I was told to call Cymax.com (third party vendor that sales on Sears.com). Keep in mind, the people I talked to at Sears could barely speak English so there was much confusion and frustration! I called Cymax and it took more than a half an hour for them to answer the phone. After trying to locate the order through Sears.com, they informed me that Sears had priced the set too low and the manufacturer canceled my order. NOBODY ever notified me and I found this out just days before it was to be delivered. Despite several phone calls and emails, NOBODY at Sears has made this right and now it's taking forever for them to credit my card back the money. So not only am I out all that money now, I have no couch and have to order something else. I have NEVER dealt with such terrible companies. Customer service from Sears and Cymax have been the worst. I am canceling my credit card with Sears and will NEVER do business again with them. BEWARE OF ONLINE ORDERS AND THEIR SHADY 3RD PARTY VENDORS!

Sears Sucks

Ordered a refrigerator, washer, dryer and range from Sears several weeks ago and arranged for delivery today (9/26/2014). Sears never called or emailed to specify delivery time so called last night and was told delivery would take place between 3:15 and 5:15 today. After nobody showed by 5:30 and again, no call from Sears I called and was told delivery would now be at least another two hours later! Given their past performance I doubt it and will place another update to this site once they do show up (and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt in saying that they show up at all)

Sears review in Plano, Texas: Refrigerator Delivery Disappointment

I ordered a new refrigerator/freezer at the end of August, was told two weeks for delivery. When the shiny new fridge showed up it was missing the door handle and the basked for the freezer was broken. My wife immediately sent it back and called customer service to complain. After a mere 2 hours of on-hold and run-around, we finally spoke to a supervisor that authorized a partial credit for out troubles (wife taking the day off work to wait for delivery). We still want the unit so we go ahead and request delivery of another refrigerator. We are told it will be two weeks. Okay, patience is a virtue. The new refrigerator is delivered today. Wife takes another day off of work to wait. The new unit arrives scratched, dented, missing the door handle and they drilled holes for the door hinges on both sides of the refrigerator. The delivery driver was rude and very unhelpful. We sent it back, waited on hold for another 45 minutes to get our money back. We are done with Sears.

SEARS RIPOFF

I do consumer surveys and secret-shopping-trips for extra money. I find that almost all companies are honest and pay what they promise. SEARS is NOT, one of those honest companies. They invited me to do a very detailed, secret shoppers trip. I had to drive to SEARS , take pics inside and out, find a salesperson and speak to them about different TV models and get printed information and a business card that the salesperson must sign. I wrote detailed reports on every aspect of this "mission". I uploaded 5 photos and completed all required input . Overall, I spent almost 4 1/2 hours doing this job. I was disgusted to receive $1.50 from SEARS instead of the promised $13. I then searched the words, "SEARS Dishonest Company" and was SHOCKED to see all of the complaints and dissatisfaction with SEARS in all areas. From now on, I'll search the company's reputation BEFORE doing any type of business with them. SEARS has been coasting along on their (FORMER) good reputation for too long. SEARS is simply a good place to get ripped off.

The telephone service does not work. It's inability to solve problems that consumers have is amazing. How about if you could talk to a real person to find the answers to questions that you have instead of talking to a computer? Ultimately you talk to someone obviously in some country other than ours ,that you cant understand ,and can't help you. What's the matter with you people and your business practices? Keep cutting your business cost and forgetting that it is the consumer who is looking for quality and service who will ultimately be the reason for your loss of income..

Sears - Delivery Review from Beulah, North Dakota

I ordered arange online from Sears and it was sent out and arrived damaged on a day when we were not at homeso we could not send it back at that timewhen we saw that it was damaged we called and spent about 26 hours so far on the phone getting nowhere with the Sears call centerfinally someone who said they were at the Sears Arizona Resolution Center told us they would get some of our money refunded and we could reorder a new range as the other one had been discontinuedwe've been ordered a better model which cost even more now it has been 4 months and we have not seen anything of this new range and they have not picked up the damaged range whenever we call we are givin bogus numbers to call to solve our problem some of these numbers are disconnected and some of them go to fax lineswe have spent 1500 and have nothing to show for it but a lesser broken range and no one can tell us when the new range will be here or if it will ever be sent this is obviously pure robbery we have ordered many appliances through Sears without any problems a long time ago but now sears is obviously broken and I will never buy from them again

Sears got no screws left

Bought brand new appliances. Fridge stove and dishwasher.the delivery guys took the boxes, but there were no screws for the handles on the fridge, filled out paperworks and they would be couriers over. Nothing happened. Called Sears got put over to parts and repairs wanted me to pay for screws. What? Don't they come with the fridge to put handles on? So called store where I purchased. Very rude and was told just go to local handyman store and get some. It might seem petty to some, but after spending over 2000 dollars on product a 5 dollars bag of screws should be included to put handles on. Never did get anywhere. After contacting head office. Three emails later got a sorry. But the most annoying thing is later you get the call about warranty. Why would I give you more money after the treatment I received.

Sears review: Horrible waste of time and effort

Shopyourway is the worst laid out website to find things you can actually redeem points on and not pay shipping. After spending hours of selecting things only to find out I couldn't use my points, I explored enough to catch a glimpse of the catagory "redeem" to find the very few items I could select from. Of course I can't save on shipping if it's in a store.... even if the store is a long, long way from where I live. Live chat is a joke and can't help walk you through an order problem. I had to constantly make new passwords before and order would go through. Shop Your Way connected me with Sears, Sears told me to call Shop Your Way. I finally got my order to go through but after I get it... I will unsubscribe from this nonsense.

Reimburse my shipping costs. It's not my fault you had to close so many stores and you lead me on with Free Shipping with MAX..then take it away. What seems as a close pick up to a store to you is different for me, so I gave up and paid shipping.
