Scammed by Sears!!!

We ordered photos from Sears, paid for the photos and delivery and have been getting the run around. Every week we are told a different date to come back. They kept my money and stole my memories. The customer service is awful, when I asked them if they think it's right to scam people out of money and not give them what they paid for, her exact words were that it "was right" and nothing could be done. I went to the store several times only to be continually lied to. She had a sarcastic tone, and basically told me I won't be getting my photos even though I paid. This was a scam that played on parents. They sent out an email on 4/4/2013 stating that photos needed to be ordered by 4/18/2013. I ordered mine on 4/4/2013 and have the receipt. What a total SCAM. shame on sears and their lack of ownership to this situation that has scammed so many parents of their money and memories.

If you are referring to have had photos taken at the portrait studio that was located in Sears, the same thing applies to them that applies to the Picture Me Portrait Studios that was located in the WalMart stores. The company that owns them is in bankruptcy court.

This means that everything they own is tied up. The employees of the studios didn't know until late the night before or real early the morning of the closing that the studios were being closed. You might have received better treatment at the Sears customer service department if you had been more polite. You don't get anyplace asking somebody if they think it's right to scam people out of their money.

It isn't Sears fault. What do you mean you were continuously lied to. According to what I have heard the WalMart stores that had the studios hadn't received rent from the company for about a year, and the same more than likely applies to Sears.

To heck with memories taken at a portrait studio, get a camera and take your own pictures. Memories can always be made, as far as that goes memories don't get made sitting in front of a photographer.

We purchased a new Kitchenaid dishwasher from Sears last week. First, on delivery the truck driver drove over our new walkway damaging several pavers and cobble stones.

Second, The dishwasher was installed (not by Sears) and started to leak around the pump housing after the second use. The leaks are not at the plumbing connections of the supply or drain line. Third, we called Sears for a repair appointment, only to find out that Sears never scheduled the appointment after I took a day off from work. Fourth, after a couple of hours on phone with Sears customer service and seven people later issues are not resolved to my satisfaction.

The best they could offer me was lame condescending apologies and a service appointment 5 days from now. I'm told I have a case manager but no one has contacted me. Also no one has contacted me about the property damage to the walkway. I've been tweeting searscares all morning, but again no help.

I also just got of the phone with Lori, the most condescending and non empathetic person I have ever spoken with from another division of Sears customer service.

Again was told that a case manager would be contacting me. I will never purchase from sears again.

Went in to sears to take back two ratchet's and was told they could not give me a a replacement off floor had to be a rebuilt one. They didn't have any in store so i had to order them and that will take 7-10 days. i have been buying craftsman tools for years. Never had a problem tell now. These is not acceptable. You say lifetime warranty then make someone wait when they need now.This new pol lice is a good one going make customers stop coming to sears to get there tools.An-lass these pollice changes i wont be buying .

Thank you. All of the buttons have fallen off my dishwasher, and are cracking on my Kenmore washer.

I have glued them back on several times but it does not help. Never again will a Kenmore product be in my house!

Hello,

Your situation sounds oh so familiar. We are having the same issue.

Has Sears offered any resolution? So far I haven't been offered anything. We should get together and see if we can file a class action suit against them. HVAC are big investments and I don't know about you, but I don't have $8000 to give away.

Sears has shown me they lack respect and dignity when it comes to the consumers. Please respond as I love to connect to with you and discuss the similarities in our cases.

Sears in Stamford, Connecticut - Bad product- Craftsman 6.75 lawn mower

I purchased the Craftsman Lawn Mower last year end of May 2012. Used about 5 times. Drained gasoline and stored for winter. This is season I tried to start with new gasoline. The suxxxxx would not start. Talked to SERAS on line. Asked me to take it SEARS repair station. They fixed it- Carburator was bad, and chrged me $45. Manufacturer warrenty does not apply. GIVE ME A BREAK!!! What kind of product is this that carb goes about in just 5 use? I DO NOT have large yard at all. Very small. This is terrible. There is no one at SEARS and or CRAFTSMAN to hear my complaint. When I went to pickup the suxxxxx, there were 3 more customers with the exactly same complaints- would not start. Is this the quality of product CRAFTSMAN make and SEARS sell. I want to return this piece of txxxx and get my money back. Any help- Hello SEARS or CRAFTSMAN. I will never buy this barnd mower and would not recommend either.

Delivery and installation are two different words, and two different services available at Sears. Your salesman should have informed you of all the options available, regardless why would you expect a delivery team to do installations.
