Sears in Cleveland, Ohio - SAME DAY INSTALL MY A$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sears does not follow through on thier specials or their employees promises!!! I am without a hot water tank. We have an 80 gallon tank- a special order tank that takes 10-14 days to come in. Sears had one in stock. I called at 9:30 to place my order. So their special goes. Order an instock item and get same day install. Real long story short- my install can't be done till 12/6/11. Their employees are clueless, not trained and are NOT customer focused. They actually offered me a $50.00 gift card...oh like that's supposed to make thier false ads better!!! *** SEARS!!!
Sears in Chatham, Ontario - Manufacturing stocks - isnt that fraud?
On 28th November 2011 I saw an online advertisment on the Sears website for a XBox with Kinect for $199.I phoned the help line to ask if they had stocks in a branch but they couldnt help me other than giving me the phone number. However they did say that delivery would only be 3 to 5 days so why didnt I just order it. I said I would try the shop first. This I did to be told they had run out of stock in the shop I phoned. No problem, I went online and placed an order. The advertisement said that the price was a special only for that day and that it was in stock. When I added the item to my cart it said it was in stock. When I got the final invoice after placing the order it stated it was in stock. However the delivery date was shown as 30th December 2011. Over a month to get delivery on an in stock item? I have had three converstions with the so called customer care all of which has resulted in nothing more than condesending clap trap. As far as I can tell the customer care does not do what its primary objective is supposed to be which is help the customer - it is there to make excuses for the store. I was however told that it is the policy of the company to order direclty formt he supplier and it is therefore the supplier fault that the item is not yet in stock. Wonder if Microsoft knows that they are being blamed for the incompetence of Sears organisation? I have no choice but to wait until the delivery of the XBox although it was supposed to be a gift as it is a good price but I seriously wonder if Sears is going to come up with some excuse as to why it wont be delivered then. Made my mistake and bought from Sears, wont do it again.
Sears Cyber Monday Husqvarna are double the price as dealership
Couldn't believe Sears is selling their Husqvarna equipment for double the price as the dealership, Lowes, etc and that price has been lowered from an even higher price that's been crossed out to make consumers think they're getting over $100 off the original price. Example: Husqvarna 327LS 24-1/2-cc is on sale for $571.75 this is the original price $657.52. on their extended Cyber Monday sale today. At the dealership site www.husqvarna.com the same trimmer 327LS 24.5 cc for $339.95 and at Lowes Item # 328969 for $339.95, also.
Sears is doing False Advertising
On September they sent out a flyer for the East Coast area and in that flyer they advertised Men's Boots Brake Buckle Leather Biker 6" Black D91684 Sold By: Sears Promotion: Free Shipping for Kiosk Orders for $99.99. The sale was from November 20th through the 23rd (Pre-Thanksgiving sale). I went to the Sears store in Dartmouth, MA to purchase the boots. I tried on a pair of size twelve's and they fit so I asked the sales rep if they had another pair because the ones they gave me to try on where damaged (the stitching was all torn and the sides of the right boot had looked like they had been dragged along the ground). The sales rep said that was the ONLY pair of these boots they had, so he checked on-line and said they could order them for me right there and they would ship them to me at no additional cost and I would receive the boots on November 25. Order number 294499486. I ordered the boots and they charged my CC. On November 22nd I received an email from Sears stating "We are sorry we are unable to fulfill your order because the items are no longer available.". I then contacted Sears customer service and she again processed the order on-line for the same boots. I checked my email later the same day expecting some sort of confirmation for the order. I received no email so I contact customer service again because I was supposed to pick up the boots in store at the Dartmouth location, but they had no record of any order processed; however, they did see the notes on my account but could not explain why the previous rep took all my CC information but never processed the order. I contacted the Dartmouth Store on my other phone and had the store manager and on-line customer service on the phone at the same time. The store stated they had one pair (the damaged pair) at this time, So customer rep and a supervisor they said they did have the boots in stock and said they would again process the order (again charging my CC) and have the boots shipped, and the boots would be delivered between December 1st and the 5th. Order number 297835275 On November 29th (today) I received another email from Sears (Yep, you guessed it (We are sorry we are unable to fulfill your order because the items are no longer available.) and they canceled the order again! I contacted customer service and asked to speak with a Supervisor again, after waiting 30 minutes on hold to speak to a supervisor, when they finally answered the call I informed the Supervisor that this call was being recorded, she told me "I am sorry but I can't stay on the phone" and immediately hung up on me. I have every intention of pursuing this matter further as since they did not have the boots as stated in the flyer nor did they have these boots in stock at ANY LOCATION in the area, or online would constitute false advertisement.
Sears Shipping Service
Sears in Phoenix, Arizona - Cyber Monday
Quoted one price and charged another larger amount online within less than an hour...said promotions can change at whim during the day. Quote: "So you might have seen a different price." Apparently there is an hour to hour change. I was expecting the price I had written down less than hour before purchase. Not cool. Still trying to resolve this issue. I also copy and pasted the conversation with a live chat person and plan to send it to someone higher like president or someone. I will get to bottom of this ...one way or other...so not cool
Sears- pick up time a joke
I have an issue with the Concord Mall, Wilmington DE store and the 5 minute guarantee. I went to pick up an item on Sunday 11/27 at 10am. After sitting there for 29 minutes before my item was located I realized that the 5 minute policy is only for the associate's review not for the actual service. My order was "completed" the first time in 1:11 minutes. I added it to the board again and it was "completed" in 4:55 minutes. At least the average wait time went up. I was there for 29 minutes. I asked an HR associate to check why my order was completed. Sure I got a $5 off coupon but what I really wanted was for my order and the other three orders to stay in the *** for THE ACTUAL WAIT TIME. The reported rate on the board of 98% completed in 5 minutes or less is a LIE and the numbers need to reflect that! Just don't LIE and HIDE behind a 4:55 minute mark and give a coupon. Post the right numbers and do something about the actual wait time!
Sears in Pensacola, Florida - Promised me matching price if I would not cancel
I ordered Christmas tree storage boxes from Sears. Almost immediately, I found them for a less expensive price on-line at Amazon.com. I went on-line to Sears Customer Support and was filling out the cancellation info when their 'Live Chat' person came on-line and asked why I was cancelling. I said I found the boxes for less. She asked me who the seller and price were. I typed all of this information in the chat window. She said Sears would match the price and, in addition, give me and additional percentage discount. She said to fill out their form for the matching price and I would receive these credits. I did so immediately and thanked the 'Live Chat' person for the help. I copied the entire chat window conversation and emailed it to myself so I would have it for future reference. Two months came and went and I never received the credit for the price match and the additional discount. I emailed Sears Customer service and copied into the email the copied live chat session where I was promised the matching price and the additional discount. Sears response to me was that they did not honor 'Third Party Sellers'. Thus, I would not received the matching price and additional discount credit. I wrote them back saying they should honor their agent's promise. They once again refused. I was stuck. I think this treatment was unethical and dishonest. I cancelled my Sears credit card, and will endeavor never to shop at Sears again.
To Whom It May Concern, I've detailed a timeline of the experience we have had with Sears and it's sub-contractors. Our issues are still un-resolved …………… 11/4/11 -- ordered oven online 11/11/11 – 1st scheduled delivery. Scheduled between 2:00-4:00. The installer...

Sears - online offers pre-Christmas delivery they know they can't meet
As of this writing if you go online to sears.ca and order anything large (like a TV) the online system will offer you availability of delivery times twice on the 22nd and 23rd and once on the 24th but once you buy it and check you'll see the REAL delivery date is after Christmas. I called and, apparently, their phone and online order systems are different (so you can't yell at the phone system one's about the online bugs even though the online system gives you their phone number to call for online support!). The phone system knows the current available delivery dates are all after Christmas. So online system is in error - and they admit that but they let it continue which, IMHO, is fraud or at least fraudulent as it is deliberate misrepresentation. Aside from inconvenience it may also cause a lot of broken hearts for people who are told their present hasn't arrived yet.
