I purchased a top of the line pressure washer from Sears about five weeks ago. I have used it only three and one hours total. From the first attempted use it would not keep running. Every 8 to 10 minutes I must pull the cord to start it again. I gave up and attempted to return it ti where I picked it up origionally. After a little help from the employee at the service bay and following all his requests and filling out the required paperwork, I was tole I must take the pressure washer to the service center about 30 miles away. This will be another lost day of work. Sears should stand behind their products after only 3 and one hours of use.
Dont buy Exercise bikes from Sears
Dear customers, I just purchased a NordicTrack recumbent bike(GX4.0) from Sears Roebuck on July 30, 2011 and picked and assembled on Sunday, July 31, 2011. My son, a mechanical engineer assembled the bike for me. I used the bike on Sunday for 45 mins, Monday for 30 mins and then on Tues after 20 mins the belt broke. While NordicTrack is addressing this matter , I am very disappointed with this product. I am very disappointed that Sears would sell such junk . I am hoping that I will not have a problem returning this bike to Sears today and will update this complaint accordingly.

the phonecall and was keep waiting on the phone for over 45 minutes to get someone to answer my question about a manual to repair a weedwacker that was bought at sears,I think this company does not want my money or is not intersted and does not need any more customers,Ialso wonder if the higher ups know about thi is happening or dont care about it,I can tell that I will not buy from this company ever I use to think sears was a company that was honest,This is not the way to treat a customer

why is it when sears delivery calls me the night before informing me that my washer and dryer will be delivered between two and four.Then around seven in the morning i get a call stating that my washer cannot be delivered because its out of stock.How can it be out of stock when i get a call saying its available for delivery.i called that toll free number,talked to someone in taiwan,spoke little english.i cancelled the order.went to lowes,next day delivery.how can sears be number one in appliances with this poor service.

Sears in Washington, District Of Columbia - Missed appointment then didn't repair made machine worse then before
Today we were scheduled to have our washing machine repaired by SEARS(still under warranty). We were called last night and this morning to remind us of the time. When nobody showed up, I called and they forgot to schedule us. The repair guy was very nice and said they just called him with our info and he would head right over. Because he was new, a more senior repair person came out to check on him. They spent 15 minutes on the machine and 20 minutes telling me how important it is to give them a perfect review. In the end, they said it was not installed properly and they fixed it. Guess what - nothing was fixed. It's worse than ever. I tried it when they left. They didn't even try to run the machine because they would have known they didn't fix anything. Our warranty runs out next week and I just cannot risk taking off another day at work for a no show repair person who can't fix it. They said it was an easy fix but apparently that's not the case. Three appliance we bought last year were broken upon delivery. It took 4 months, speaking to over 40 SEARS employees and 14 appointments and it was still not resolved but we gave up. Now the washing machine is not working and we need someone to help us. Jennifer Mitchell

Bought 4 small drills for wood. Allin all (including padded envelope) it weight was less than 50 grams. For this Sears took USD 45 to send to Sweden! Actual cost was about USD 7 I guess. I have been in constant contact with the international department of sales and all they can give me is lousy standard answers that dont meet my expectations at all. Differnt people answering my e-mails every time, makes you kind of tired after a while. I shop a lot from the USA and this is the absolutely worst and most expensive company I have ever heard of! Thank You Sears for being the rudest and most expensive company in the States!
Sears in Zillah, Washington - Did not keep appointment and did not call!
Made an appointment to have my Kenmore Elite (over $1000.00) washing machine repaired for Friday, July 29, 2011. Received automated reminder call on Thursday to be home on Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Took the day off from work; 1:00 p.m. no repair person and no phone call. Called customer service (where is customer service for Sears? India?). Was told that there was no service person in my area--why did I have an appointment? Have always preferred Kenmore;will drive by Sears the next time I need to throw money away. After attempting to find out why I had an appointment if there wasn't a repair person in the area (not English as a first language customer service person once again)I tried calling the store where I purchased the washer and dryer; choose services, parts, repairs from the automated menu--guess what I spoke to "Chad"--yeah right, "Chad" does not have English as his first language either! India again?
Sears Warranty Agreement & Service
Purchased a lawn tractor from Sears with an extended warranty. First day would not start had to remove the battery and return to the store for replacement. Only after getting upset in front of store customers did they replace the battery. Now have called for in home service since I broke down completely today,and my grass is growing hourly, it will take three weeks for a repair person to come out to replace a $2.50 part which I could order and that would take 11 days to deliver or I could pay an additional $20 for this $2.50 part and have it delivered in three days. Again I have purchased a warranty and have to become the parts runner and repair person. I will be looking for the part at John Deer or Snapper dealer tomorrow. I will also be searching any web site that I can to tell my story of Sears terrible customer service and warranty departments. I do not blame the people I have talked to on the phone however, it starts at the top and this needs to change.
