Sears On-Site Warranty Craftsman Snowthrower

About two years ago, I was looking for a higher end consumer snowblower, and I settled upon a Sears Craftsman Snowthrower Model 88115, paying an extra $200 for a 5 year onsite warranty. I had the machine stored in my garage, and a snowstorm hit, and my driveway is covered in snow, so I pulled out the machine, and it doesn't start. Now I can't get out, and I need to get to work. Called Sears warranty, and they tell me I have to wait 2 weeks for 'onsite' service. This is the third time I have had to call, and a wait of 14 days virtually undoes the reason for having a snowblower in the first place - not having to pay another person to do it and to have the convenience of a cleared driveway at soon as possible. That warranty is almost useless. I am going to have try and get this fixed myself.

Stealing at Sears, Naples, FL

About 5 or 6 years ago, I was using the misses dressing room at Sears at our Naples, FL mall. When I tried an item on and went out to show my husband, someone took the pants I was wearing from the room. They were hung up (as if they were new) and my diamond wedding rings that were in the pocket were missing and never found. Two days ago I was in the same dressing area--the pants I had on were taken and moved to another dressing room. I have received very little satifaction from management in either of these cases. I would not recommend shopping at this Sears. As always, buyer beware!

I am sorry, but that's your own fault! Why would you leave your diamond rings unattended for any length of time?!?

And if it happened beyond your notice then I assume that you left the fitting room area.

If you'd been smart about it and stayed close the the fitting room, then you would've seen the associate carting off your pants. Secondly...if this happened to you once, why on earth would you leave your clothes behind a second time!?

??? What did you put your pants on their hanger?

I do not understand how an assoicate would have thought your pants were storestock! It makes no sense

Sears in Casper, Wyoming - Terrible Customer Service!!!!!

We had a $100 gift card for Sears. Went to purchase a fridge replacement water filter with the gift card at the local store. The checkout girl couldn't ring up the item for some reason so I ask her to go grab another one or speak to the appliance person. She said "I don't know where the appliances are located so go grab another one!" I mean the store is the size of a grocery store in our town. I looked at her and said get your manager up here. She said no so I personally went to get another item and get the upc code for it from the appliance woman! Sears is an antiquated dinosaur with terrible customer service. I'm sure she just wanted to get home to her unemployed boyfriend and smoke some *** So Sears, Kiss my ***! Idiots!

Sears.com is my worst customer experience EVER!!

Sear.com is my worst customer experience EVER!!! They cancel my order by giving the reason "not available". But the item IS available online in stock right now, at the same time they are canceling my order. I bought these stuff because I got a Mastercard Promotion offer of getting $500 back when spending $1000 at Sears.com in the past three days. Their cancellation of order disqualified me from this promotion. And this promotion is a one time chance. Congratulations on their success marketing strategy that draw people's attention and cancel the order. Plus it takes years to wait in line to talk to their customer representative and centuries for them to pull out my order information. This is insane. I won't do business with Sears any more. I am gonna tell everybody "AVOID SEARS.COM BY ALL MEANS".

Trying to get in touch with Sears delivery was a nightmare

I ordered a mattress and box spring from Sears on cyber Monday. There was no option for in store pick-up on these particular items; therefore, I had to have them delivered. It was nearly $20.00 cheaper to have them delivered to my Dad's address than to my own(I live in a rural area)so I had the items delivered there. I subsequently realized(duh)that I would spend at least $20.00 in gas to transport them from my father's house to my house, so I spent 2 HOURS on my day off attempting to explain all of this to various people in Bangladesh(?)who kept connecting me to the NEXT person in Bangladesh seemingly ad infinitum until I reached a very helpful young Bangladeshi who absolutely ASSURED me that he had taken care of changing the delivery address. The mattress and box spring arrived, on schedule, to MY FATHER'S ADDRESS!!

There is no customer service at sears, period

everyone i know never shops there, I did the mistake of going today to look how i can order a part for a tractor, lawn cutter i unfortunately had bought from them, waisted an hour with them while they looked from person to person to see who had to reluctantly come and try answering my questions, to then tell me they dont know how to get the part, or how long it would take, basically they told me go look it up yourself, find out how to order it yourself then come back here to pick it up at sears, wish i never went there

Sears in San Juan, San Juan Municipio - Shameful Customer Service

Have been waiting for a repair person for over 2 months. Today, December 10, 2010, I had an appointment, but after the service technician called me and made me stay home to wait for him, they all of a sudden cancelled my appointment!!!! Shame on you!!! Do you people think we have all day just to wait for you!!! This is the 3rd $%#%#$%#$% time they've done this!!! And what's really sad, nobody gives a @%^$ about it!!! SHAME ON SEARS SERVICE. This is the 4th time I have requested service for this equipment, and they say that in order to be covered by the LEMON LAW, all 4 repairs have to be within the same year. With this type of service, I'll never get the service I paid for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE, BBB SHOULD HAVE A LOOK AT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will get better results taking your complaint to your states attorney general, they will not charge you anything to contact Sears about your complaint, have a fair resolve, they will take care of it.They hate attorney general compalints. Also call Sears routing office at 18662771702 punch any extention and demand to talk to the routing manager and demand to be compensated for your lost time from work waiting for them. After they make this right with you, shop else were. You will have a lot less trouble.

Sears in Sequim, Washington - Canceled credit card

We received a letter from sears saying they had canceled our credit card.I called sears accounting and was told my credit score had changed and they canceled our card. Now mind you we were not late with any payments and our account was up to date.I even ask the gal I spoke with if we ever had any late payments and was told no. We had been a Sears consumer for over 25 years and had spent 1000's of dollars with them even with there products declining in quality (ALOT). Since, we have payed off our account (we did make sure we had a few late payments to make us feel better)and have never set foot in there stores since and never will. So to shoppers of sears beware,Sears has no loyalty to there consumer's.

My Sears/Citibank Mastercard was also cancelled. I have never paid late or even carried a balance.

I paid the entire balance off each month, every month and on time as well. I tried to make a charge a pet food store and was told my card wasn't working. I called Sears when I got home and was told my account was because of "fraudulent access". They verified my recent purchases and told me a new account would be opened with a new account number.

When asked why I wasn't contacted via telephone or Email, they had no answer.

I told them to *uck off and shove their new card. I am a building contractor and have bought nearly $100,000 in appliances for my homes from Sears, I will now take my business elsewhere.

SEARS.COM rip off

I bought a GAS oven from SEARS.COM they sent an electric...when I called to correct the problem, they agreed to the change then billed me an additional 180.94 on top of the original 365.14..they said they 'd deliver the new oven and pick up the wrong one on the 20th..I took the day off ,and at the end of the day ...SEARS called to "schedule" my delivery for the next 2 weeks !!! I refused told them to come get the electric and just refund my money. they said "no one was available" so I took their *** oven to rhe clsest sears...since then SEARS has refunded the original price but refuses to refund the 2nd payment of 180.94...no matter how many calls I make they just put me on hold til my phone dies.
